totally thought this was a vid of roger talking about sluts for 10 minutes
Hahahhahaha. So did I the first time I clicked it. "The thing you gotta know about loose women is... they're not good for serious relationships. So I'm here to help you sort of weed out the women who aren't quite suited for a commitment. Here are the steps you can take in telling apart a slut from a girl who won't sleep with your friends."
God knows he would be speaking from experience
He's scheduled a return visit to discuss loose dentures.
And...IF he did discuss Loose Women, would they be Who Hos?
I have always loved The Who. Whenever I see an interview with Daltrey, I respect them even more. Roger Daltrey is truly the class act of the vintage rock and rollers. Keep it up, Roger. You're the best.
What a STUD !! Always positive too ! He looks the same at 75 today !! ( he was 67 here)....I am also a singer ( I am 55 now) and Roger says it right, gig'n /sing'n keeps you in shape ! ..The man is just 5'5 but is a real GIANT helping Teens with cancer with Pete ! Beautiful Soul !!
What a great man. Love his attitude on life and his devotion to singing.
And giving back.
He didn't want to do drugs or drink to excess out of respect for the music that Pete wrote. He wanted to stay fit and on top of his game to do Pete's music justice. Now there's a class act. And still hot at 67 years old. Rock on Roger!
An incredible, kind and generous man and still a great rock and roll singer.
Nice guy. Very humble.
Roger Daltrey is a legend
he's not. He's real. You do of course use the term loosely and figuratively, but it is used incorrectly. Dragons are legend. Minators are legend. Snake-headed Medussa is legend.
Furthermore, Daltry is a right-wing anti-EU and ill-informed vanity slut.
Just sayin'
@@poopinlumpy And you, Sir, and excuse me for saying so but it's the truth, a prick!
Straightens his hair cause they were mods. BS
Pete didn't cause he was a musician.
Figure it out for yourself. Why does a man prefer flowing female hair? Hhhmmm... Cover of gay times? Hmmmm
Wife=beard
Look, I don't care how he swings. Just admit it. Hell, most do.
@@poopinlumpy and you sir are the dictionary definition of a pretentious ass. 🤔
he has aged so well!
always adored his powerful energy!
This vid kept coming on the "suggested videos" for a while and I thought it was Roger lecturing about "loose women" - LOL! Great to hear him. He's a true legend to this day.
Same here. Toward the end, I wondered if "on" was supposed to read "with." What an odd show title. But good people, good spot.
Daltry is so amazingly likeable and nice ... he really has people skills so much more so than any of the others, especially Townshend. I'm happy things worked out well for him.
+justgivemethetruth I know, it's kind of hard to believe. He sounds so angry when he sings. Truth is though, all of the anger is Pete's.
I met Pete, albeit very briefly, last year, and he seemed very sweet to me, and kind.
I've met Roger twice, and he's exactly what you hope he'll be, and more!
@@at90percent Pete once hit Roger over the head with a guitar and Roger knocked him out cold with a single punch. Charlie Watts once punched Mick Jagger and nearly sent him out of a window into a canal. Seems like those who got their anger out were able to stay friends and are still going as bands. Those who let it simmer inwardly were less likely to survive.
The guy looks greats and he's pushing 70.
JAKESTAR105 az
He’s had work done no one looks like that at his age
@@Cat-bz7tm I don't think so. He just takes care of himself very well and has amazing genetics, just look at this interview from 1994, he was 50 years old and looked 28 ruclips.net/video/S1N3s3o3ja0/видео.html
@@Cat-bz7tm Nah, If you have work done, you don't look like you're ageing well, you look plastic. He also seems to have a very positive personality - very optimistic and 'can do' so that will keep him young too. He's obviously still fit enough to play in a band.
Roger is also a strong actor and has done countless roles on film and television which many don't even know about.
Total Respect! Top 3 of any rock vocal list!
Such a humble and nice guy.
I can only imagine Pete watching this while mumbling to himself angrily
The first thing that popped into my head when I read your comment was Pete mumbling, "Wanker" under his breath.
Peter once hit Roger Daltrey over the head with a guitar and Roger knocked him cold with a single punch. Tough guys.
True British gent. Long live rock.👍🎸
Could listen to him talk all day...
Good man. The Who were a group of good guys not to mention great artists.
Roger - The world loves you. A true legend who has never once put a foot wrong and has always been there for his friends. Witness 'You stand by me' by PT from Endless Wire. I love Pete cos he wrote all the songs but somehow (and I think PT recognises this) Roger embodies The 'Orrible 'Oo.
Gentleman roger great down to earth guy that cares genuine as they come and long may he continue his solo album *as long as i have you* - superb !!
Saw him and Pete at NOLA Jazz Fest in 2015. Still got it.
Pure class
Roger is an Icon.
Such an amazing man :) With soul AND substance..I cherish him.
..God Bless The Who.! Roger still looks Great and Still Rocks it Loud..!...Though you forgot Led Zeppelin as another great Rock Band...
What a legend, what a shame they had to cut him short at the end.
Roger Daltry, Robert Plant and Geddy Lee....the three greatest rock singing legends for sure. But Roger has a special place in rock history as a true rebel!
You better you bet
The first and who made the highest impact..he invented the frontmsn cult..Mick Jagger of course..whether you like him or not..history will record him as being
Who’s Geddy lee
You're either sick of hearing this or knew it before hand, but the reason Roger stayed clean throughout most of his career (he did grass occasionally, but nothing serious) was because he felt it tampered with the music. Also why he was kicked from the band for being a bully to the others, when he tried to convince them to stop doing drugs.
All my youth's heroes are either old geezers or dead.
Amen brother......AMEN!!
Where does that leave us???
I know what you mean, but weren't we lucky to be teenagers in the sixties?
fucked
@@MrJal67 Many of the' old geezers' are still going strong though. There's room for optimism.
I clicked because I expected to hear Roger's opinions and insights into loose women, being that he's highly qualified in the field.
I thought I was the only one that used dippity-do in my hair to straighten it. Tommy can you hear me.
Lol. It's hard to believe 'Dippity Do' was a real product name.
I saw Roger and his band in Lokeren, Belgium last summer! I flew from Northern Ireland!! Fantastic gig!!!
Brilliant guy. Magic man.
Roger Daltrey... Legendary front man, Legendary Vocalist, Genuine Rock giant. Unfortunately, Roger never did fulfil the complete definition of Rock Legend....he is still alive! Well, maybe.....😞
Why maybe?
She's relevant mostly because of "You Don't Own Me", which was an astonishing message in its day. But I think her other hits were quite good too. Granted, I've only listened to one best-of album, and that was years ago, but it seemed pretty strong to me.
✌️ Peace little berty
A natural west Londoner.
Roger Daltrey
Salutations from Kensington and Chelsea in London 😉
A shinning light something I could least expect from his era wonderful
WOW
Brilliant interview of a true Rock Superstar.
From a 72yo Aussie fan.
very enjoyable - thanks for sharing!
Roger's hair is AWESOME!!!
Plant seems pretty down to earth, funny and on the ball to me. He even knows he can't stand around in his mid 60s singing those Zeppelin songs the same way he did 40 years ago and takes the mick out of himself.
I doubt you've ever listened to an interview of his.
True English gent
*Janet Street Porter* is a fecking ledge! Most Rock stars would give their right arm to interview her!
Roger, I love you!!!!
You hit the nail on the head.
So humble.. so cool..
right on !!
Thanks for posting - very interesting and so different to typical Who interviews.
He's such a good natured man, even when he talks about having to lay a beat down on Townshend in 73, you get the idea he really didn't want to do it.
Townsend once hit him over the head with a guitar and in return Daltrey knocked him out with a single punch. He was no pushover.
@@heliotropezzz333 classic sheet metal worker.
@@robertkess9907 I'll take your word for that.
@@heliotropezzz333 I'm no expert, but he's said in interviews that one of the things he did before the Who was being a sheet metal worker.
@@robertkess9907 It would have been a loss for the world of music if he'd stuck with that. Thanks goodness he took a risk.
A true craftsman.
And still doing it well, Rog. Good on ya!

Roger Daltrey on loose women I've had more then my share
what a band and what interesting guys
Great Guy
Although my hair is very thin in the middle with my advancing age, Roger's hair is exactly what my curly hair looks like. I spent the 70s with people insisting I had my hair permed (after all Clapton did and daddy Brady did). If I picked it out, I looked like Artie Garfunkel and when I just washed and went, it looked just like Daltrey's. You may be a hairdresser but you simply don't know what curly (not wavy) hair does on its own; it curls naturally. His hair is probably colored (it looks it) and styled with the use of some product, but it is not permed. I have the identical hair as Roger has although he has much less, if any, male pattern baldness (my hair has also gotten a little straighter in areas where it has thinned out). If Roger's hair is permed then mine gets miraculously permed ever morning between the time I take my shower and finish my second cup of coffee and I even wake up with it permed, but messy (the mad professor look). You may be a hairdresser but I have lived with Roger's exact hair type since before he stopped straightening it with product. I think my better than half a century living with curly hair wins out over your conjecture. I must say that you sound similar to the people who think that any man with a naturally muscular build (mesomorphic body type) and who also does moderate resistance training, so becomes pretty muscular,, is juicing (using steroids). It is wonderful that people are different and that some of us have hair that is naturally curly and some have very straight hair. Am I to believe that everyone with straight hair uses a relaxer or, as Daltrey used to do, uses "Dippity Do" and a blowdryer. If not, why do you assume that the curls that some men, like me and Daltrey, have is the result of perms. I remember when perms were the rage in the 70s but some of us were just born this way. Roger is one of them, so leave him alone. He looks damn good as he aways has, and he is a kind, generous and humble man. I have the deepest respect for him and not simply because we share a similar phenotype with regard to the shape of our hair follicles.
I cracked up when he called his hair the dippity do! hahaha Rogers Awesome!
Oh. So Loose Women is the name of the show. I thought he was going to talk about his female roadies.
Daltrey is in his late 60's, the man looks fit!
I enjoy his interviews. So absolute. {you have to be fit} to be a rock star. That is why some have perished before there time.
Top man
Looking good Roger
i thought curley hair was the thing to have back then, look at robert plant i grew up in the seventies the best of times we got to witness the best years to come, the best music ,but to have red curley hair ,that was funny, my hair went from black to red at 6 months and my father told my mother he was going to use shoe polish to change the color of my hair. this interview brought back good memories to me . thank you
not for mods :P
Curly hair started to come into fashion in late '67 or early '68. You also see people in the Monkees, the Byrds, and Jefferson Airplane who had straight hair in the mid-60s and curly hair later.
No Rock God had a flatter stomach! And still does!
Townsend said in his autobiography that Daltry was a horrible bully when they were young...
Hey, I thought I was gonna see Roger on loose women! :-P
Great Britain ought to just have a venue for the performing arts called the Royal Alco Hall.
It would have to be for the 'Under-performing Arts though.
That was round the back after the show
I'm a woman, I've met the guy and he's never had a perm. He used to straighten his hair, but finally quit and let it grow out into curls. The thin spot in the back is still there, but it never went completely bald and having curls helps hide that, of course!
in orchard road
the boy from essex lives in Aus now
Moving on....
The interview starts at 2.57 for those who want to get right to it.
How cool is Roger? Answer TOTALLY COOL!!!
You know what my favorite thing is about this? Everything in that studio is all pink and girly and then Roger is in there wearing all black! LOL! Gotta love Roger!
Roger is one of the oddest "rock stars". Just like The Who wasn't really a "rock band" in the Zeppelin-Stones-Rush-Metallica-AC/DC sense of the word.
Hard to describe. Their music was kind of "other" than that. Kind of a 60's thing. Like the Kinks I suppose.
And Roger himself ... met him at a hotel bar in Seattle in 80s. After the usual, "Hey ! Love your stuff blah blah"" and the obligatory autograph, I asked him, "What exactly IS a Mod ?". He laughed and said, "Have a seat." A fun 2 hours!
hard to believe Roger is 68
Can I meet him please
How was the show taped on 10/02/11, but the vid uploaded on April 16 of the same year?
10th of feb
You boring cunt
That's his natural hair. In the beginning he talks about having naturally curly hair. I think he should wear it with long curls.
UNICORN DALTREY
Roger is great but he looks like my gran here
I was kinda of hoping for Daltrey's thought-provoking analysis on today's loose women culture.
I read that they had a Space Invaders arcade game on their tour bus, or maybe it was a pinball machine, and Daltrey was having a temper tantrum about drugs, so he physically picked up whoever was playing (Pete, John, or Keith), smashed them through the glass, and pushed him right through. Sounded nasty, from what I recall.
Until he was "fired" he had everyone afraid Roger would just out-and-out deck them if they pissed him off.
@StanBennet Never thought of that, lol. If it is it's a good one.
No he isn't, he is witty, and jokes sometimes. A very articulate and intelligent person, and one hell of a singer, like Daltrey.
Roger looks awesome =) Still cute! ;)
Yes you can. One word for you (or however many!), Dippety-doo!
@dirtbikerdak1 agreed.
Got acid spiked
It's a sad sad day when Roger Daltrey has to scramble for time.
STILL ARE
now? this is 2 years ago...... for starters
@lewars1912 Actually, it has to be hair replacement. About twenty years ago he was balding bad in the back.
Is the British version of The View?
Yep! The Brits copy everything we* do or make
Me too...I thought Ole Rog' was gonna go on about some "Loose women"...Hahaha.
Its just a comment. Its a joke. Remember those. And actually Im a musician too so we do have that in common.
I think he's had some work done ;)
No, you can tell his looks are essentially natural and not substantially different from when he was younger. He's just ageing well. Having work done makes for artificial or plastic looks.
