- In this video we are getting the reef tank water parameters worked out through new Salifert test kits and a DIY batch of alkalinity. We are going to a frag swap today, Saturday, in Cleveland Ohio! So excited to be going to my second frag swap ever!

I used instant ocean reef crystals for a couple years. The last 2 buckets I had high calcium. I switched salts and problem went away.
Great to know! Did you find this though regular testing and your tank levels going up, or were you testing freshly mixed saltwater?
