I remember seeing lupin the 3rd for the 1st time on a movie. It was on Lupin and his gang looking for gold and involved solving the mystery of the murder of a prince. I’ve seen other clips of the show but never really followed up on it.
Fiat 500: featured in every intro of the season because its the best little car Also Fiat 500: sinks and is lost a couple episodes in, doesn't appear again the whole season basically the only part of the season i didn't like... How dare they do that to the precious Fiat!!! Luckily the Fiat 500 was back for the next special "Goodbye Partner" even if it only appeared a bit at the end. Glad to know he got a replacement!

Miyazaki was involved with part 2 and that's when Lupin started to become more popular and fun. Miyazaki's first directorial debut for a film was The Castle of Cagliostro as well, so if you want some good Lupin, I recommend part 2 and that movie.
@@Cloudstrife112233 Miyazaki only directed two of the second series episodes. Also, I don't think you should write off the darker side of this series. Four out of the first six episodes of the first series and The Mystery of Mamo stand above the rest of the franchise IMO.
I've been watching Part 5 on Toonami. Got to say an excellent show in every aspect. I hadn't even heard of Lupin until I watched part 5. Gonna have to check out the other seasons as well sometime.

As long as they bring back Oliver (voice of Cu Chulainn (lancer) from Fate and Bang Shishigami from Blazblue) I'm happy, and Part 5's artstyle is just as beautiful as Part 4's

And it's not like JoJos where people argue over whether skipping parts is okay or not. Everyone agrees that you can jump into Lupin at any point and it's fine. Just maybe not like the middle of a multiple episode arc or the middle of a movie, then you'd be confused. XD But seriously, go watch part 5 as soon as you want to because you don't need any prior knowledge. Just the opening tells you all you need really.

The characters partially obscuring their names, alongside the fact that there was a cat in his part, led to me initially believing that Zenigata was called Hector Gata (in spanish, "Gata" means "female cat") So yeah. Javier Reyes Late last year I rewatched castle of cagliostro (a 70s Lupin movie) then went straight into watching part 5 (not watching other parts yet). Like others said, the parts seem mostly self contained, and it was a great watch. Even after nearly 40 years (between the movie and this part) the characters were still great and they had to adapt to the new technology of today.

I put Lupin’s adventures up there with Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell and others alike. Shows that literally anyone around the world can enjoy.
Just like him this show is discreet and no need masive recognition to be the best, that's the spirit of the greatest thief in the world
