the fact that he get's to speak his native tongue, *chef''s kiss*. To often actors are forced to conform to english for its accessibility. Yet, much like in sports, having people speak in their native languages makes them far more comfortable, and generates far more interesting videos
@@rayray9865 No too often do actors in large movies just play a role without deep diving into their characters. Accept for maybe Jared Letto. He thinks he understands his characters but actually just makes his own sh** up that makes no sense for his characters, lol.
He's quite romantic about analog things, especially the camera and notebook. I appreciated how different this one was than some of the other 10 thing videos.
Diego Luna, such a relatable dude, he’s pretty down to earth and a wonderful actor. I enjoyed listening to him talk about his essential items. The thing about the cables was funny, and I feel that, so many cables everywhere 😂
I really liked what he said about notebooks, especially the “ok, this is going to be for THIS project..” part and then it ends up a mess. So relatable, haha
This is what this series should be, personal and intimate, things that generally mean something to the individual and give insight to the person. NOT like the Bear Grylls one which was all on brand and "Oh, I travel with a cardboard cross a picture and a bunch of crap I've collaborated on....."
he chooses things that make him humble. Seems like a cool guy to have a drink with and share stories with. I look forward to Andor because he made a lot of movies great.
Andor is the best TV show of all time and Y Tu Mama También is the best movie of all time. I love how much Diego talks about his kids. Necesito practicar mi español, pero comenzaré diciendo que Diego es un talento raro y una persona decente.
He reminds us how important it is to be part of the world, not to be disconnected with headphones, to stay with friends when traveling, not to wear disposable masks, not to be a slave to technology. He is a very active activist, forgive the redundancy, and his words will always be like this with a clear message: BE PART OF THIS WORLD
When i first saw interviews with him I was shocked how completely different he carries himself and sounds and his mannerisms. Like I had no idea of even a trace of accent in his Rogue One or Andor performance, whereas in interviews he speaks in such a way you could never imagine him putting on another accent. He even somehow looks different in Andor, looks bigger sort of, just by his posture and how he talks.
I love how real this was haha. I feel the other people were like “hmmm what should i say that i cant live without thatll make me look interesting” Whereas diego was like. Ah pen, mask The most interesting thing on the interview is him not his stuff
haha, good for Diego, speaking in his native language and ....he kinda wiped the floor with all the Ken dolls that have been part of the series, for once he came up relatable stuff, situations and feelings
I like how he's speaking in his native language. It feels like people can be more themselves and talk naturally But i understand why most people just speak English on RUclips
Diego is such a lovely person. I love his talent, so pure yet so bizarre. I've been obsessed with him since dirty dancing and his clip with Katy Perry. He's a legend
I just love you Diego Luna and I can listen to your 'nonsense ' as you call it nonstop. I loved the fact that you spoke your mother tongue and you were not forced to speak English. It sounded beautiful and natural. Of ocurse, I love your sweet accent on English. I am your generation as well, so I prefer a pencil and a pen and a notebook, instead of writing into the mobile or tablet. So it makes perfet sense for me. I always carry a pen in my rucksack, wherever I go. I agree with you for the cables, plugs, adapters etc. yes, we are slaves of them. My desk is full of cables and devices awful! I just want to say that I love the new series it is great to see Cassian go about his business, because in Rogue One he had to die with Jyn.
LOL a very latinamerican peculiarity: starting a notebook assigned for a project or journal and ending with recipes, sketches, ideas, and phone numbers…
Beside the Habanero all the rest is also what I use probably because we have nearly the same age. but Diego would be my perfect friend to share ideas. And I also have the same worries about the masks, cables etc etc.He is really cute.
Yes please more actors speaking their native language; the world is so accessible and with RUclips rolling out generative language dubbing soon there's no excuse to force people to speak english

This was first made for the spanish channel of gq, this is the sub version of that, by the way the subtitles could be better …
Agreed
Yes, he said some phrases very Mexican and the translation was good, but lost the special meaning he is saying.
Finally! Someone with things that feel real. No sponsor ships, no showing off, no bull sh!t
Thank you, Diego!
*Watch the Jeremy Allen White essentials*
You’d probably dig Jon Bernthal’s recent ep.
Johnathan Majors was pretty good too
Rafael Nadal literally showed his meds 😂
We need him to do Hot Ones! He’d be great
siiiiiiiiiiii a que hora
That would be awesome
*I'm not Mexican, but I'm glad that Diego and Gael are getting the attention they deserve, both are great actors*
The way he explained how cassian wouldn’t like ranchero Mexican music was spot on
Exactly and it shows that he's not just playing a role or just reading off a script but he understands the character.
i loved that! such a great understanding of his character lol

Words cannot explain the affection I have for this man
I didn't think I could like the guy more but here we are.
Igualmente
Amen.
Diego Luna, such a relatable dude, he’s pretty down to earth and a wonderful actor. I enjoyed listening to him talk about his essential items. The thing about the cables was funny, and I feel that, so many cables everywhere 😂
I feel like Diego Luna is an actor that can naturally act as either a younger man or an older man without even any make up & just pure talent.
I really liked how simplistic and realistic these items are and it was nice listening to him
Cae muy bien que Diego Luna haya decidido hacer esta entrevista en Español! Definitivamente un Mexicano del que nos sentimos muy orgullosos!
Y nosotros en chile por Pedro Pascal 👌
I really liked what he said about notebooks, especially the “ok, this is going to be for THIS project..” part and then it ends up a mess. So relatable, haha

I don't like bear grills cause he eats snakes for fun
But honey one way or another , man's gotta make that paper
He is my celebrity heartthrob, though my friends don't really get it. It's something in the eyes...
Girl SAME!!! I'm 31 and i have had a crush on him since i was like 12 lol!
Lol my best friend and me too! Very much not alone!!
He has a mischievous twinkle in his eyes, but also a softness/kindness. He just seems so relatable.
omg whats not to get???! I totally agree with you
its the eyes chico, they never lie
Diego Luna is a fantastic actor and a fantastic guy
Narcos Mexiko is so great with him
@@Shinigami_X0 Mexico*
NOT.
“You get drunk and don’t have spicy food in the morning” this man really is a Mexican 😤✊🏽
He is and I love them doing this in his native language. He speaks perfect English but this is BETTER.
I love his energy and personality 💜
I’m disappointed Gael García Bernal isn’t on this list
I love the simplicity and practicality of this beautiful man. Te amo y mas, Diego!!
he chooses things that make him humble. Seems like a cool guy to have a drink with and share stories with. I look forward to Andor because he made a lot of movies great.

;Talento raro' means strange talent in Spanish. Assume you mean that he's 'un talento especial' 😜
Hey, I said I need to practice lol!!!

@@botanicus2921 That's why he had a reusable mask, like me. Disponsable mask's it's more garbage.
Ehh cada quien sus gustos..yo me pongo mis audifonos y adiosss a todos.
"Slaves of these cables" I totally get it
That camera point of view of his grandfather makes me know why he is such a great actor. One of mexicos best come up stories.
Mexicans, Asians and West Indians all know about pepper sauce/hot sauce being an essential
*Seeing the Habanero Hot Sauce*
Me: Put Diego Luna in HOT ONES asap!
Do you recognize the sauce? Looks familiar, but I can't place it. Not many have that type of labeling on the back with so many colored fonts.
I have loved Diego Luna since Y tu mama tambien. He is a great actor as well as a beautiful person.
Diego said "I know you think I'm young but I'm actually an old man and I can prove it by digging through my bag." {... in spanish}
Pens are highly underrated. I always travel with one or two. After writing things down it is also easier to remember things.
He acts like he's ancient but he looks perpetually 15.
I can listen to him talk all day and night! ❤
When i first saw interviews with him I was shocked how completely different he carries himself and sounds and his mannerisms. Meanwhile Jason Momoa’s like “yeah…I travel with like eight motorcycles and thirteen guitars w/ me at all times”.
I love how real this was haha. I feel the other people were like “hmmm what should i say that i cant live without thatll make me look interesting”
Whereas diego was like. Ah pen, mask
The most interesting thing on the interview is him not his stuff
Sick I love he did it in Spanish
Uno de los mejores actores mexicanos 🙂
haha, good for Diego, speaking in his native language and ....he kinda wiped the floor with all the Ken dolls that have been part of the series, for once he came up relatable stuff, situations and feelings

Te quiero mucho Diego Luna. Eres un chingón
All the Love this man is getting for his talents makes my heart melt 😊
Me encanta la entrevista en español se siente más natural
Este foi o meu episodio favorito até agora. Finalmente uma pessoa real, humana. Adoro! :)
His performance as Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo was very good.
since he kind love spice, he would be a good choice to be in "First we Feast/Hot Ones" interview with Sean...
Simón
The legend Don Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo in the flesh...
Man makes me want to learn Spanish listening to him speak, Love to the Latinos out there!!!
Humble and down to earth guy, he preferred speaking spanish even though he speaks english 🫶🏻🇲🇽
i could listen to his “nonsense” all day
I like how he's speaking in his native language. It feels like people can be more themselves and talk naturally But i understand why most people just speak English on RUclips
Palabras no pueden describir cuanto amo a este hombre😫
i love that he did it in spanish can’t wait for andor
The chefs knife, this guy gets it
2:38 Obviously “The Force” theme
A really down to earth nice guy.
Diego is such a lovely person. I love his talent, so pure yet so bizarre. I've been obsessed with him since dirty dancing and his clip with Katy Perry. He's a legend
Ok so he actually is perfect
Andor is the best Star Wars content EVER. that's all.

Hahaha, cable complain is completely valid.
Cassian Andor escucha post punk Yugoslavo.
thanks gq, as if I needed further reasons to fall even more in love with diego 😒
What a great actor
LOL a very latinamerican peculiarity: starting a notebook assigned for a project or journal and ending with recipes, sketches, ideas, and phone numbers…
Me gustaba el en Rogue One, no puedo esperar para ver Andor el 21st de Septiembre
Te amo Diego! Can’t wait for Andor next week 🥰💞💞
i remember when this guy was in a vampire movie with Jon Bon Jovi like 20 years ago hahaha he's come a long way
i don't know why, but i feel such affection for diego luna since i watched y tu mamà tambièn, i hope to see him more in the future!
I’ve been a fan of his for years and I’m proud of how far he’s come :)
Ayy Diegoo mi amorsotee! Me encanta escucharlo a el y Gael, son siempre tan genuinos y espontáneos.
He even knows what music Cassian would like....some actors are just different gravy
2:03 Ever heard of a thing called open-back headphones?
Too bad y’all cut a lot of scenes. Which I know. Due to time limits I guess. Will y’all release the extended conversation?
hes such a dad😭😭😭 i love him
Wow I think his notebook is a Leuchtturm! Same kind I use for bullet journaling! So fun ☺️🙌🏻
7:00 wireless charger 🔌…. Ojalá pronto sea standar
Loved him in Narcos !
I love Diego for his role as Cassian Andor
Makes me proud to be Mexican American.
Ser chilango (CDMX) 🇲🇽 es mejor, el es chilango
I've had the biggest crush on this guy since Dirty dancing.
Saaaame. I’ve loved this man since high school when I saw Dirty Dancing. I’m 30 now and I still swoon when I see him 🤭
Another actor in the medium format gang🤟🎞
Books, cloth masks, pencils, pens, notebooks... Some of my own essencials too!
Love it! What a legend.
Te amamos Diego Luna
He's so right about the cables lol
We'll see you on Hot Ones!
That is such a nice camera. And a nice knife. Diego has good taste in things

I wouldn’t be as careless as his daughter if I had one of those Bang & Olufsen speakers (((; raaah those cost loads
Absolutely the sexiest man alive!
I like Gael but I love Diego since Dirty Dancing. Hahahaha
the cable companies didn't come to an agreement, i guess u can say they failed to unite the plaza's
Gael: "What do you have there?"
Diego: *Running* "A knife!"
Gael: "No!"
Editorial Anagrama rifando como siempre
practical stuff esp the pen and pencil I keep those on deck
Que video tan bueno!!! Gracias Diego... saludos desde Venezuela.
Smart, kind, very handsome and one of the best actors in the world; the only thing he is missing is -----me.
Does anyone happen to know which brand that habanero sauce is?
Yes please more actors speaking their native language; the world is so accessible and with RUclips rolling out generative language dubbing soon there's no excuse to force people to speak english
Great that he speaks in Spanish, he is a great actor
10 things duo lingo can't live without!
Love that he has a Yashica Mat.
