Doc Harley is a really sincere guy. What I like about him is that he's always willing spend a little time to refer the customer to a specialist supplier when the need arises. If he can't help you, he won't hinder you. A man of good virtues.

Way to Go Guys, Kevin we've never met, but back in the 2000s i was a Service Writer and then Shop Dispatcher and Warranty Manager at Low Country HD, i was there for the Move from the old building to the one you were in, and i worked at Phil's North Myrtle beach store for the Rallies as acting service manager, in 07 i left to become a fulltime service manager for a dealer in western mass, due to some health issues i'm now retired, but unlike you and Mike (DOC) i was never a Tech, i was and became a manager cause i was good with hours and money, so i always looked to guys like you two for advice when my technical knowledge was lacking , Now Retired i am a huge Fan of BOTH of your You Tube Channels and it's GREAT to see you together, and it's cool to see you at a dealership i helped build literally the 2 bikes spinning around in the Silo a former Low Country Service manager Jeff and i Built from spare parts in the warehouse, so it's fun for me to see the old dealership and 2 of my favorite you tubers at it........Great Video

My two favorite go-to guys for accurate, detailed info that helps me keep my own Harleys running! Kevin is the mechanic I wish I was but strive hard to be. He makes jobs that are way over my head look so easy! Doc is also good although usually sticks with the MoCo line. I rarely am seen at a Dealership once the break in service is done. Around here at last, the service departments have totally priced themselves out of earning my business. If it's something I can learn to do myself, I do it myself. I do have an independent shop that I've used for years but the owner passed away a few years ago (on his way to Sturgis). His kiddo took over the biz and is an ok tech but not the mechanic his Dad was. Finding a shop that you trust with your life is not always so easy.

Came here from Doc Harley,,,,this is my comment to him........This is great, As a 35 year Automotive parts dealer veteran I have always kept a good working relationship with the independents, they buy parts from me, I feed them info it's a business relationship that works and sometimes flows over into a personal friendship. I'll go check out Kevin's channel now as I have apparently been living under a rock

I got almost 20 years in the business. I totally get it! Spent the first 6 years of my career in a dealer getting my master of technology when I was 25. Spent the next 8 years in am aftermarket shop that did lots of motor work and Dyno tuning ect. It was a different world! I have been back at a dealer for a number of years now. Definitely lots to learn from both sides!

Thanks Guys for anything regarding Harley Davidson . I Grew up so poor ,I had to build my first Bicycle from scraps One Thing i know when The desire to have something ,You wild build it if you want it That Bad , Middle of nowhere ,Hillclimbing on what you Brung ,old BMW Husky Hodaka , a Ducati 250 ,I fixed Them ,We laughed at an old neighbor who kept a couple Harleys ,nucks or Pans ,until one Day he let me ride a knuckle He started it I Rode it on a Dirt Roar I might have weighed 90 Lb. But i was so excited that i turned it around and Came back without a Problem . I was Ruined ,I am getting old and I have an evo ,and a Twin Cam 2011 Flstf FatBoy 5,000 Miles .But I also keep a shovel at my sons House Because Potato Potato ,I can not Help Myself ?I will not ever get an 8 ,Because I am addicted to the Sound . You Guys Have much knowledge I. In 1963 i used to keep my Distributor hand tight ,so i could turn the timing down ,Not knowing That to get that potato idle i was not oiling anything , But i know More than i did ? The Good is i wallowed in self pity , Having to build my toys,End of Story in 1970 ,I got Hired in a factory and For 34 Years i worked on German & Italian Machines all Metric ,But I made more money than 90% of ny Friends who went to college ,they went to college I went to The Army ,But all that self Pity led to a Being a Senior Fabrication Technician all The training free . That is America .God Bless .
