I always use filter cut square paper, so i'am lucky that majority of your models have diagonal crease in starting which makes it easier to the cut square from filter paper. BTW judging from my intermediate origami skills the model was easy for me, great model.
I am so happy I managed to make this. this is the first thing i succeded in, as all my others either tore while making or just failed altogether. Thank you Jo Nakashima for designing this...

The chameleon was an instant favorite. This one is pess satisfying for me to fold because of the open back. Im not sure why, but i find it very appealing to have a closed model. Another excellent penguin fold that I can add to my repertoire. I haven't seen your original sequence, but I really like this one. I have developed my own original sequence for folding the classic Bird Base. It is all mountain and valley folds until the very last fold where it all collapses into its final form. This is great stuff, Jo. Thank you.
I tried to make this but I don't understand the fold at 9:26 cause your hands are in the way. I made your origami duck and chameleon and never struggled. I'm so frustrated with this shit I've watched 9:26 like 30 times
