We just put ours on black vinyl mates. That way if it sloshes out while you are pulling a comb out it has a place to land that you can wipe up at the end of the day and save your new nice wood counter top.💈💯

Don’t drill. You can use epoxy and glue magnets to the extension cords. They will stick to the work bench
