I agree I was following this case on up and vanished before he came forward. Bo dukes is the mad man. I believe he was a sexual predator and set Ryan up for the fall
Not sure why the prosecutors didn’t continually shoot holes in Dukes testimony by reminding everyone that he was a known drug addict and alcoholic and admittedly was hazy on the events.
He will be sentenced on Monday morning. He faces between one and 10 years in prison, however, he has already served about five years. Meaning, if he gets a maximum sentence, he would serve another five. However it’s possible that he could get time served and be released (or anything in between).
The concealment of a death was actually in another county and the four year statute of limitations has arguably expired. Monday will be an interesting day at sentencing.
He will be sentenced for that one part of the crime. What I don't understand is if he was found guilty of helping conceal her death, then that means he knows where her remains are. So... did Bo kill Tara?
Correct. Bo Duke killed her and got Ryan to help him after the fact. If you watch the trail it becomes clear of that. When the podcast up and vanished started bringing this case back into the public light Bo tried to get ahead of it and say Ryan did it and forced him to help with the body. The stupid DA gave him the deal and went after Ryan even though that had a ton of evidence that made it clear it was really Bo. Bo’s family had alot of clout, money, and connections in the area. It’s clear to me anyways that they tried to rail road this man and used the guilt he felt for helping Bo to get him to confess. He should still be punched for his part but he’s not a murder and they’ll probably never go after Bo now because he was given a deal. Disgusting.
All I know is if a guilty person is found not guilty, they'll be gleaming with joy. If an innocent person is found not guilty, they'll cry. Both reactions come from the feeling of relief, but only one comes from the feeling of rightful justice (Note this reaction vs OJ Simpson)
"All I know..." How would you know? Are you the suspect ? Can you read his mind? Do you think everyone reacts in the same way to the same circumstances? So you are going to discard all evidence ( or lack there of) , all testimony ( or lack there of) and the many hours that lawyers on both sides and also the discussions that the jurors had amongst themselves regarding the trial based on whether or not a person cried or gleamed??? A person's emotional reaction to the verdict is not evidence of anything except exactly that - an emotional reaction. Just because you might react a certain way ( or you think you might react a certain way) does not mean others will do the same.
His DNA was not on the glove. Although he was definitely involved in the aftermath, he did not kill her. Bo dukes definitely did it. Why would he plead the fifth to every question. He still has to pay the price of the actions he took after, but he is not the one who took her life. Still a shit person.
I do think that Bo killed her but I read the transcript of his confession and he said he made the call to her house and the glove did have Ryans DNA on it. What's the possibility that they both were there? Or did he just say he made the call bc that's what Bo told him that he had done?
@@paulthompkins4150 the glove never made sense to me in this case. I did not read the full transcript so I was misinformed about that. Ryan claims that he made the call to return her purse when Bo took them. But you could be totally right, they both could have been at the scene and doing it together.
This was the right verdict in my opinion.

Right verdict, definitely--
Weak prosecution/and a defense that paid attention to the details. Reasonable doubt.
Great job by defence lawyers, pro bono at that. After this they will be in high
And that’s why they did it.👍🏻. High profile case with shaky police work means more money for them in the future.
Not sure why the prosecutors didn’t continually shoot holes in Dukes testimony by reminding everyone that he was a known drug addict and alcoholic and admittedly was hazy on the events.
He knows about the fate of the Lindberg baby. Right.
Because that can be considered prejudicial. Someone who's a drug addict and alcoholic doesn't make them a murderer.
@@2wickie686 doesn’t make them a reliable witness either.
They're not witnesses, tf? Ryan Duke is the DEFENDANT. He's not a witness.@@corycarter1195
And remind the jury that he once kicked a dog.
This was a huge relief
So what happens now..he did conceal death?
They said no further charges will be filed. It’s past state of limitations for those charges.
They did find him guilt of that...Count 6:concealing the death of another - Guilty. I'm not sure what the sentence will be however.

WOW 😲
Okay each reasons have damit reasons ???
Damn
Oh yes,🙏😇🤗
So he covered her death but didn't kill her?

So basically cops are above the law hell go home happy and the victims family unjustified
If he said trump supporter they throw life at him
I feel Tara and her loved one's were certainly failed with justice.
This is the way we will all stand infront of Christ. And his angels will read out our verdict
Let me know how it goes.

Can make sense but it’s not 100% factual/accurate

So if someone doesn't cry when they're found not guilty, they're actually guilty? Did you actually just argue that?
I was charged with murder and found not guilty I passed out you don’t know wtf you’re talking about
How can yall say the moment you find out your path of life for the rest of your life, how you would react, everyone would take it differently
Are you serious? He showed them the body, his DNA was on the gloves, he knew about a call that wasn’t publically availbile. This is insane.

It was obviously Bo
