Love watching Ormond. It is beyond me how the tourists are so dense about his body language. He always gives warning when they enter his personal space. Even if you've never been around a horse, his tight, scowling face and pinned ears are no different than what a dog or cat looks like when they give warning. Also, the lady Police Officer, is not only always alert and watching around her, it is obvious she loves horses. I noticed she is now carrying mints for them. Could you ask her one day, if appropriate, if she is a horse owner,/rider herself. Also, let her know your viewers have noticed her performing her job, with compassion and care. Thank you, John, for your respectful coverage of the guards, horses and police. Your ongoing narration, is what sets you apart.
People are generally dense. They do not respond to body language because they are constantly on their phones and people today don’t interact together 😢
Normally I do not rewatch videos with the exception of Ormonde featured videos. Just can’t get enough of Trooper Ormonde keeping tourist in line at horse guards.
It will never cease to amaze me the number of people who insist on moving closer to a horse that gives a warning nip to either themselves or they see someone else almost getting bit. Not to mention the "parents" who insist on putting their children between themselves and a horse after standing there and watching several people almost getting bit. What is in some people's water!?! Whatever it is, I don't want any of it.
The thing is that Ormonde is perfectly content to 'stand guard' if people don't intrude into his space unnecessarily - you just have to watch his ears to see his tension build up!
