Jarrod’s tech: professionally reviews the laptop and says it’s more powerful than the other laptop (g14) Jarrod’s Laptops: *YEETS THE WORSE ALTERNATIVE OUT THE WINDOW*
My issue with the comparison is really that the Razer is literally 2x the cost of the g14 and $1000 more than the G15. I'd like something like this with 100 watt total TDP so it can use a USBC charger. I think that would make it the perfect travel laptop. As it is, it's like a really expensive slightly smaller g15.
hey man, i really love ur 2nd channel bcs I'm always excited w/ simple video like this one as a conclusion of a video in your main channel. please upload videos here more often, im gladly waiting for them!
Damn, I upgraded my i5 7300HQ/GTX 1050 Inspiron 7577 with an MSI GF65 Thin i7 9750H and 2060. Couldn't find anything else worth around 1200 USD in India at the time :/
1.8kg. That's as heavy as 15 inch laptops such as Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme. When I heard 14 inches I was expecting this to be a much lighter device focused on portability. If the weight and specs are equal, I'd much rather opt for a bigger screen size and more battery life.
A 15" laptop with that weight must be terrible... At least you keep the small size and you can also buy the version without the anime matrix LEDS to save weight
Can only find the 3070 in OZ.. currently for 3299 AUD with 15% coupon but I put an offer in for $50 less than that so we'll see what happens. Do you think the 3070 will be enough is my question? I want it as my second laptop and for travel.. what a little beast...what a nice thing to have as a portable laptop! I guess for 1080P the 3070 will be alright but it would be lovely to game at 1440P rate of the panel if possible.. maybe on medium settings, the 8GB 3070 will be ok for 1440p? Very impressed with this thing and latencymon in your other review means it's ideal for music production on the go. PS this has a relatively large freesync range which was the clencher, 48-165 :) Cheers
I bought acer nitro 5 2020 version one month ago. Its battery goes from 100% charge to 0% within 3 hour with screen on and without using any software. If i keep it on idle with only screen on battery drains under 3 hours. Is there any problem with my new laptop?
Another great video that was very helpful I was wondering if I want to G 14 or blade 14. But with razors Quality Control history and all the ram soldered, decision made Zephyrus G14 wins. That’s not saying ASUS has great QC but I can replace or upgrade at least 1 ram stick.
Jared pretends to throw the Asus laptop! Le me pretends to catch it in hopes of getting atleast some current-gen hardware in this drought of chip, hardware and money shortage 😭
Technically you could disable the dGPU in device manager which will at least prevent random apps calling the dGPU, but with optimus in most cases it probably won't change much.
Hey Jarrod, I'm about to buy the zephyrus g14 since it is significantly cheaper than the Blade 14, do you know the response time of the 1080p model? Couldn't find any info about it.
That huge chin bezel, and 16:9 display looks terribly out of place on a laptop that is so focused on design and aesthetics. Not that I'd ever buy a razer product (again).
@@JarrodsLaptops That’s true too, just wish it was possible to get the base model without the 10 ms response time. Is 10ms really noticeable in gaming?
DO NOT GET THIS LAPTOP. DO NOT GET ANY RAZER LAPTOPS. YOUR BATTERY WILL BEGIN BLOATING EVENTUALLY. BROWSE THE RAZER SUBREDDIT TO GET AN IDEA OF THE FREQUENCY OF BATTERY BLOAT. EVEN IF IT DOESN'T BLOAT IMMEDIATELY IT MIGHT BEGIN TO BLOAT AFTER YOUR WARRANTY PERIOD EXPIRES

This can be charged through USB-C. It's better to have both options and lose a bit of performance than be limited to 100W all the time

Got the 3070 as an upgrade to mz Dell Inspiron 7577 with gtw 1050 :D this one is amazing :D
Great. We have the same dell inspiron 7577, mine with gtx 1060. I think is time for me to have one as well. Enjoy

I got Asus tuf f15 lol
I'm trying to get either a razer blade 15 2060 i7 9th or g14 2060 maxq from the used market . Both are at around 1100 USD.
any plans to review the new blade 15 advanced model with the 11th gen intel processors?
Nothing yet, depends if they have review units available for me to borrow.

Bro i am totally confused to buy an new gaming laptop which is good from these Asus f15 or lenovo ideapad 3 or hp pavilion please reply bro
I heard most razer laptops have battery bulging problems, can any past owner clarify that? I'm planning to buy one
Most of them do, i had a 2020 adv razer blade 15, the battery lasted 1 year.

For 3060 with 20ms response time, will it work better if I were to use it with an external monitor with 1ms?
Yes, plus you'll get a performance boost.
@@JarrodsLaptops nice, thanks for the fast reply! Last question, to get 144hz, connecting the laptop and external monitor using hdmi 2.1 works right?
please review the gigabyte aorus 5MB
3070 is the sweet spot, since they all have max 100w tgp 🤙
Nope
Anyone know the difference between the 3070 and 3080 in terms of performance on these low wattage laptops?
I haven't had the 3070 one to test, but search for it on RUclips, I think I was suggested a video of someone comparing those two in the Blade 14.
meh i think that still i want legion 5 pro more. Razer, please make Blade 15 with ryzen and then we will talk
This should be at least 300/500$ cheaper to be a better option
Being the better option because it cost almost twice.
ohhhhh yeahhhhh
G14: *yeet*
Jarrod why razer cost too much
Almost all of them are having battery problems sadly...
but it has less tdp
