This is a cool multimeter, somehow I had it in my cart and the Echo Dot Alexa said I had a lighting deal in the cart and I’m like oh great what now? It turned out to be the meter that wound up with tax at the 34 dollar price so I grabbed it right away and it came in one day, I have used it for a few days in the field and it performs very well, this is a great meter for the price. Thanks brother.

I agree. At its price point it has quite a few features and the screen is a big bonus. You got a good deal 👍

Great review! Love the price and the ability to see the screen. I apologize if you mentioned it in the video but does it come with a screen protector? I guarantee I’d break it with in 48 hours. I agree with a kick stand or an adapter that you can put on it to be able to use a magnet when working on hvac. Again great review and your honesty and feed back is appreciated.

      Thanks.
It came with a film on the screen, but not really a protector. More of the type that comes on a new phone for shipping.
Yeah for $40 it’s a good buy at that price point. At face value anyways, I can’t speak to its longevity. I’ve used some pretty junky meters in that price range. It’s a little slower than my fluke, but other than Capacitance is was a very small amount.

Solid! I’ll be getting me one soon as well! I saw it on Curtis’ channel “HVAC GUY” awhile back and was intrigued and put in my cart to but never saw a need really. But to get one and try be pretty sweet!good stuff as usual man!

I was the same way. It was something I wanted to try, but I didn’t really need it. It was going to have to wait till I had $40 to not spend on something “Red” since I already had tools that would do it.
I think it is good and has a lot of functions for someone who is looking for something in its price range though. I’d put it at the top of the list for $40 meters I’ve used.
I watch his videos too and noticed he was trying out some KAIWEETS stuff. Seems like I primarily watch HVAC guys… you all must be the most entertaining 😂

@@MORGANSMaintenance lol right? Red just is more appealing to the eye! I was thinking of grabbing one of Milwaukee’s meters since they were an electric company first! Entertaining, stuff for sure. Which camera did you use on the mini split? Said you had a new head mounted style?

@@KoolinwithKrauss I have a GoPro with a head and chest mount but I always found using the head mount hard because I can’t see what I’m filming. With our work that stinks because you can’t undo it and do it again if you realize you missed something in the middle. Because of that I primarily used the Chest Mount. Then I have found it easier to use my phone on the GoPro chest mount with an adapter for seeing what I am filming and for editing, etc. So I have switched to primarily my phone.
On that video, I put some pieces together to put the phone on my head mount but far enough away from my face that I could just look up and see it but also still see my work.
I’ve always thought the head mount should be better because I shouldn’t have to worry about what the camera is looking at. It should be looking at what I’m looking at. I just have been trying to figure out a way to be able to check what I’m recording.
So with that one it works to be able to see, but I think it’s so close to my face that it picks up my breathing pretty heavy. Plus as a bonus I get to look like a complete Dork while doing it…
One day I will get it all figured out. The cameras on my phone is better than the GoPro though… as far as quality. Mine is a GoPro 9, not sure if the newer ones are better.

I guess I should say the quality of my GoPro is good but it needs good lighting. Working outside would be good, but inside it needs a lot of light.
Look at me… talking about filming like I know what I’m talking about 😂😂

@@MORGANSMaintenance 🤣 it’s all good man seems like it’s been something you’ve been working with a bit. There’s so much I need to figure out. I see a lot of ppl with the GoPro but they say the batteries die so fast, then you’ll have to upload and do all that.
Which chest mount do you use? I’ve thought about it just wasn’t sure if me working would the screen get touched then stop recording 🤦🏼‍♂️
Because my phone definitely shoots much better, but my dumb ass just discovered to upload my video in the highest quality 😂 been shooting in 4k but uploading in whatever 🤦🏼‍♂️
You got a good enough grasp man you sound very pro-fesh!! 😂

Wow, you're tropical people. I die if temperature inside is higher than 27 degrees Celsius.
Funny that the whole screen is not a touchscreen.
There are measuring instruments and DYI meters. Fluke is the first one, Kaiweets seems to be the latter.
    Nice, honest review.

100% Agree with your meter assessment.
Yeah I was sweating making this video 😂. I normally run fans and leave the door open when I’m working but it makes too much background noise for the video.
I suffer for the people 😂

@@MORGANSMaintenance Check out Asus AI noise cancelling adapter. It may help with the fans.

I’ve been trying to move lights around too, but it’s hard to not end up getting glare or shadows somewhere. I did notice on this one while playing back that I need to block of my windows in my garage (during the day). I don’t have that problem in my office because it’s in a basement.
It’s weird how much you don’t see while filming that the camera picks up.
