I am from the Capital District, and I live in Atlanta now. I saw and met Plush in Atlanta opening for The Warning! Two amazing all female rock bands. Both very young with amazing futures in Rock!!
These ladies are just as nice and sweet in person. They signed the set list I got from Ashley after their show in suburban Chicago last week. I'll absolutely be seeing them again the next time they come through. I hope I get the chance to talk them up then. They're incredible on stage, too!
I'm really happy for Faith because, not only did she get into a great up and coming band, but she got into a band full of cool people who love her. All of these girls are sweethearts and they deserve all the success that's sure to come their way.
@@danielhoward4566 My guess is that they're paying her as much as they paid Brooke, but Brooke thought she had more clout than she did. Chris Akin of The Classic Metal Show said he heard Brooke was threatening to sit out Plush's upcoming tour with Alice in Chains unless they agreed to give her more money, so they cut her loose. He said he didn't hear that from Moriah and that Moriah said she wouldn't talk about Brooke. He knows people who work at Plush's record company and he knows loads of people in the music business. One night I was watching The Classic Metal Show and one of their friends from L.A. came on and said he was told John 5 was going to replace Mick Mars as Motley Crue's guitarist. About a month or two later, it was reported that this was indeed the case, so when the guys of The Classic Metal Show report something, I tend to believe them.
@@danielhoward4566Brooke wasn’t getting paid, she wasn’t even signed. Their management took advantage of her for 2 years promising partnership, then handed her a “work for hire” contract just before the Alice in Chains tour. I would have left too. So, Faith is most likely getting paid more. I believe this is also why they were dropped by the UTA shortly after Brooke left the band.
@@ChrisKelly-67 Brooke was never signed all that time? OMG No wonder she left. She was getting ripped off. I would of left also. Hopefully they are not doing the same thing to Faith.
I've always said you don't have to be told a band is great. You know it when you can feel it in their music, that reaches the furthest depths of your soul. Your looking at lightening in a bottle right here. I hope to see them in concert someday.. ❤
The Runaways, as a group, didn't set the bar high, but I do agree that these women are very talented. (No disrespect to Lita Ford and Joan Jett intended, who are great guitarists both, and one of whom is a decent singer/songwriter.) I hope that they continue to develop and get their name out there. Everyone plays her instrument superbly, and Moriah herself is such a great singer.
@@riblets1968 Moriah is also no slouch at playing lead. She plays the solos on "Barracuda" and "Run". I'm glad you gave the other ladies their due. Moriah is a phenomenal singer and songwriter and she's got an excellent band behind her. And Ashley's voice is a beautiful counterpoint to Moriah's.
It's so nice to see good talented women really revitalize hard rock/metal bands like The Pretty Reckless, Plush , Dorothy, Eva Under Fire , The Warning etc etc so glade I'm able to witness this transition I grew up on the old ones like In This Moment, Lacuna Coil , Halestorm etc etc it's nice to see the passing of the Tourch theses women deserve it..
Saw them with The Warning and, despite popular opinion, I thought Plush was way better. Better tone. Better live mix. Better performance full stop. Don't get me wrong, I love The Warning, but Plush just kicks a bit more a**!
I am new here !! I am already subscribed and fascinated with these awesome cool ladies 🖤🎵they really rock!!
Massively talented yet remaining humble, I hope that never changes, these ladies are going to go far
Just hearing her speak it's so Anne Wilson. But I remember when the WARNING was still in their basement in Mexico

They are probably paying her less than Brooke got.

Lol Heart
What happened to Brooke?
Old news
She wasn’t being paid and they wouldn’t sign her as a band member, offered her a “work for hire” deal 2 years in, she declined and left.
From what I understand, Moriah and Brooke were fighting over a guy named Jimmy Banks and Brooke quit the band.
