I prefer race with George Harrison on an English Abby Road.
I can’t wait for the DiMeola, McCartney, and Ringo tour though. One guitar is more than enough this time. I am not even kidding- well Ringo is sorta optional lol.
It really captures Strawberry Field's real essence. He composed it in Spain and I could always hear Flamenco vibes in the chord changes and harmony. Especially on that F to E "and nothing to get hung about". Even the melody, it sounds very much like flamenco. Thank you for this version, Al.
That song was written by The Beatles 😅
@@carlostavares6972yes, but Lennon was in Spain for the movie "how i won the war". In those days he started to write the song.
That incomparable DiMeola sound.
The Master of Guitar. Al's timing and rythm is impeccable
Yessss
G.O.A.T. I’ve been listening to Al for over four decades and he still absolutely blows me away.
Drinking beer on my patio, listening to great music on a Friday afternoon 😌
Thanks AL, been listening to you along time👍🤙👈
The sound of this composition goes into my ears and tickles my brain. I really enjoy it.
Amazing picking technique, i love the scale flourishes and solo. Great arrangement!
Horrible arrangement. The only bits that were musically coherent were when he went off on a tangent.
I always wondered why he never learnt to finger pick like Paco. Considering he does a lot of flamenco stuff.
Yeah he's gotten better. Keep it up Al!!!

My grandfather gave me your 'Casino' album about 15 years ago, hey you've aged very well! Thanks very much for the inspiration Mr. Di Meola
Чувак ты один из лучших!!! Легенда из моей молодости! Спасибо!
Nice job, Al!
Superbly Unique & Beautiful!! :)
Totally amazing version of the Beatles classic. Al has given it a beautiful Flamenco vibe! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Brought a tear to my eye..
In mine as well.
As always, I’m just blown away with guitar playing. It is always a pleasure to listen to you play. Thank you.
Beautiful Guild 12 string Jumbo inn the background
Al you’re the Maestro, that is a breathtaking arrangement of Strawberry Fields, as fresh and beautiful as if it was composed yesterday.
AL D putting a beautiful saucy spin on Strawberry fields.. 🍓 Thank you sir!
Yeah Al! So lyrical!❤️
His interview with Rick Beato was just epic.
Nice Al. I remember buying ( and sill have original vinyl ) you on Chick's Return to Forever LPs then in '75 I bought Elegant Gypsy. You're one of my favorite guitarists!
Beautiful! :)
Thanx, Maestro 🌹🌹🌹🌹
Bravo Maestro Mio Bravo
et grazie!
Bellissimo, fantastico grande Al
Brilliant brilliant Mr Meola
Brilliant! 👍👍👍
Genius song and a genius interpretation.
When I got no mystery lp in 75..al became the most accomplished guitarist on earth...sorry to the other greats out there...al has brought many lovely tears to my eyes...he's Gods guitarist
Al Di Meola, one of my all time favourite guitarists from Return to Forever. I remember seeing him in that band in London in the 70s.
Love the voicings. I'm still learning from you, Al👌
Nice. I like it. ... Think it was Al's recent interview with Rick Beato where Al says guitarists can't dance. Hahaha... If you missed it, it's worth watching... Thank you, Al Di Meola. Much love. In Christ.
Beautiful interpretation, Al. The Beatles sense of melody is confounding.
Beautiful! 😊
This is so good...
Amazing!Very Cool!
Love from Recife - Brazil
Thank You!
Incredibly sensitive, and soulful - as always, AL DiMeola! Thank you for sharing the music that flows through you!!!
I like that Al has a poster of his guitar hero on the wall.

This is what makes RUclips great.
Still... One of the SICKEST guitarist in History. 💪
I hope I get good enough at playing guitar that one day I can have a poster of myself on the wall 🔥🎸
Amazing!
Always stunning, why I picked a guitar up 50 yrs ago, Al Di Meola period!
Learned the entire Casino Album!
Always stretching and innovating
No one is in Al’s tree, and nothing to get hung up about. What an amazing talent. So therapeutic, soothing, relaxing..etc, soulfully satisfying to listen and watch a true master do their craft. Watched the Rick Beatles interview w Al, great, so interesting, all the stories, amazing, it casts me back to that time period, their music was very creative, new, ahead of its time and it’s still ahead of even current times.
Beautiful!
Great!
Thank you 🔥
The outro is killer!
Beautifully brilliant.. I love watching Al play...
Thank you for that ! I makes my morning so much better. It is 4h49 on the 2nd of April 2022. Thanks. 😀
Maestro
Beautiful as always Al.
Sod the airmiles, I’m loving the imported Spanish strawberries right now.
One of the BIg Masters !
Just Awesome Playing ...
Wonderful music comes from your hands! Thanks Maestro....
Sweet rendition
Beautifully played, with your own spin..Lovely.
LOVE that Al has an Al Di Meola poster on the wall of his guitar room - awesome :)
Al…. It’s beautiful ! Fantastic.
Magnifique
Still the Man!!!
Genious 👌👌👌
All DiMeola is without a doubt my all time favorite guitarist!!! No one has influenced my playing more than him, I thank you Al, not only are you a GREAT GUITARIST, but also a GREAT COMPOSER, and that's what's missing in guitar music!!! This is an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL version, BRAVO!!! Be safe, Jazz/Rock On & God Bless!!!
I found him through a Steve Vai performance and lit up! He was the guitarist I had been searching for. I’m hugely influenced by Gilmour, Santana, Emmanuel, etc. He’s encapsulated all of them. Never loses sight of the melody or the motif of a song.
He’s a true virtuoso that my gf could listen to in the car. Emmanuel as well…tho, he’s more of a pure entertainer who’s puppet of choice is the guitar.
Great
Brillant!
Badass, all I can say.
Maestro!
I'd expect nothing less than brilliant.
Thank you Al. That was fun to listen to. I was 14 when the Beatles played on Ed Sullivan which hooked me on guitar. Still breaking out Beatles tunes to this day. I wonder how many guitarists of a certain age got into guitar for the same reason?
Millions.
Evh and Dimebag got me into guitar. Evh was a massive Beatles fan. So that counts I guess? LOL
@@alexshilljones1048 so is Phil he says it in a RUclips video. He was the one who got Dime to listen to more metal. He said at first he was evh and Randy Rhoads style- then Phil got him into thrash etc. he only liked Metallica when they met, nothing heavier.
Impresionant thanks for your music I remember your concert in Palau de la Música in Barcelona kind regards from Barcelona
Thank you deeply Al🙏🏻🎶🦅🌍🕊
Such a beautiful melody
Brilliant arrangement. Brings so much implied colour of the song.
Love hearing that foot tapping, Al!
So tasteful. I love all of the twists, turns, and reharms.
Incredible rendition!
Just love it!!! Keep ‘em coming!!!
