- I saw these beauts at Sidewalk skate shop on a random visit and noticed how different they looked from other shoes I’ve seen from New Balance but I hadn’t seen them or heard anything about them. As I got closer I saw Franky’s name on them and immediately knew that these are his pro model New Balance shoes and they have not yet been mention to the public. SOOOO here I am bring you all the specs and what you should expect from Franky Villain’s New Balance Numeric 417 skate shoe!

Yessir on the way. I originally had clips and everything of the shoe but my clips got corrupted 🥲 trying to get one with skate footy soon for eveyone

Exxtended shoe laces are the best!! Not that I ripp them a lot but helps save from the begining just the slims have big ahh metal end caps.
Haha I haven’t tried the slims yet but I can’t wait to!
Really love the NB 213 (the one you couldnt remember the name of). These look like a mix between those and a half cab to me, which is interesting. I'm curious how heavy they are tho, because the weight of a half cab turns me off most of the time. I love a light shoe. Only thing I wish is they'd dropped a simple black with these first 2 colors lol
You’re in luck because they are definitely lighter than the halfcabs for sure! Also the 213 were pretty sick I sometimes miss them. Hopefully they drop a black and white really soon, I know these shoes will do pretty decent for mid top and hightop fans so it should stay in the market a while.
Do you think the shoe is super narrow? I have a wide-ish foot, and have had trouble with other New Balance shoes such as the 425. Currently skating Half Cabs and they have been a good fit from the start, I just dislike other parts of the shoe and have been looking for a replacement.
Yes! I will warn you they are definitely more narrow than the halfcabs for sure. Tiago’s shoe would be pretty decent for ya in terms of width if you want to check out New Balance. The 288 and 440s are also more wide than the 425 so I’d steer you towards those as well.
Damn, thanks for the info. I went ahead and ordered them this morning, so we'll see how it goes. I have skated a couple of Nike SB Shanes a few years back so I might be fine if the shoe breaks in properly.
@@iLammas How are your pairs after these few months? Did you go true to size or do you recommend half size up?
@@Decoii I did go true to size, length was fine but they were a bit tight width wise at first, but they broke in after a few sessions. I liked them a lot, but decided not to go for a second pair as I didn't want to go through the break in process again.
Damn didn’t even skate them and let us know.
Haha I really wish the fit was better for me honestly I would have skated them so much longer. I do have another pair of NewBalance that I’m gonna have a lot to talk about soon!
Pretty basic silhouette..looks like half cab. Or an adidas mid.
Definitely like a halfcab or even an adidas matchcourt. Kinda like NewBalances version.
