The limb damage change feels like far too much, even Servo Assisted doesn’t help that much when SA doesn’t affect main HP pools. I mean what real difference is made now when you can run light armor and be hit down to 15% versus being hit down to 45% in heavy armor? Both won’t survive a second hit and will need to stim. Against terminids it feels like every other hit without SA breaks a limb. I’d honestly take 100% received headshot damage back

people rave about the Dilligence CS for bots, but its actually insanely good on bugs now too. 1 shot to all the small bugs, 3 shots through a hive guard head, and 3 to break a brood head (4 for alphas). great for cleaning up bugs at a distance and pair it with the stalwart for a massively manoeuvrable mobbing loadout. thermites and OPS for heavies too.
I did DCS, Thermite, Senator, Mortar, AC sentry, gas strike and Amr last night with guerilla gorrila armor and died zero times last night, just placed the mortar behind cover, placed the autocannon high up and didn't stick around anywhere for too long, scopes on 200m
Machine Gun, supply pack is the play on bugs. Take any primary you like, Nade pistol and Thermite nades and you can take down anything. Charger or Titan? Thermite. You're out of thermite? Backpack. Hunters horde? Hive guard horde? A bug breach? MACHINE GUN! Add gas strike and 500kg and you're unstoppable

@@diogorocha9837 the fact that Quasar can oneshot fabricators anywhere is neat, i mostly like it because of the infinite ammo, but the charegup and recharge makes it very tricky to use, but if we would count it as a "reload" then its not that bad because we can move at the same time, while other rocket launchers makes us stationary
@@Heyoo414if you don’t mind being limited to certain armours the viper commando warbond armours give peak physique which helps with weapon drag really good to run with weapons like that
I've even been liking the normal diligence on bots. Feels like a nice side grade if you're comfortable getting those headshots for more ammo and a better scope Imo.
I used the normal diligence for awhile for bots early on, used to be better than the counter version, but this patch pushes the counter ahead now so rocking that
Bugs- Blitzer and GL with thermite granades / Strats - napalm barrage, recoiless rifle, napalm or normal airstrike or 500kg and any turret you like, this is what works out for me and I recommend giving a try
My bot loadout is almost identical both for weapons and strats! Only differences are I bring MG Sentry instead of HMGE (spammable to deal with trash mobs) and a barrage for base clearing instead of Orbital Gas.
I see the value of using the recoiless against bots, but I still prefer the spear. Being a able to easily take out the turret cannons from across the map is my fav.
As someone who absolutely adores the Punisher Plasma for bot missions, I’m feeling more and more tempted to try the Explosive Crossbow. Edit: So, I tried it out on a few bot super helldives. Holy schmoly, I think I have a new favorite primary ❤️
I never used it till the buff. Just to mess around, and holy cow. It's not only fun to use but also super effective! Great on both bot and bug missions.
Same, i mained the plasma, but now i really like the crossbow. Its more consistent in killing devestators. Especially the bezerkers seem very resistant to the plasma punisher for some reason.
@@Magnusfication maybe they’ll buff all the plasma weapons next patch. They already confirmed the Purifier is getting a buff so it would make sense to buff the other two plasma weapons.
Punisher plasma is my default bot weapon, but crossbow is one of the best primaries in the game. crossbow can open loot crates & one shot fabricators, which can free up the rest of your loadout options.
Don't sleep on the gas armor against bugs. If you're surrounded, just run .into. the gas cloud and bait the enemies in. Then finish them off with your favourite close range weapon.
@@El_Psy_Kongroo_ I don't know if I could set up a handful of loadouts with combos of weapons I want to try then it's not really contributing to the problem. Plus regardless what they do to weapons.. End of the day people are going to settle into their favorite thing they found and not necessarily constantly bounce between weapons. So having that favorite loadout we like running would be awesome.
Your Bot setup is...about what I settled on myself. I've always loved the Crossbow (even when it was bad) and there's always the alternate option of bringing a Quasar or Laser Cannon along with a Ballistic Shield. Gas Orbital has been living in one of my strategem slots, and I've also been making a lot of use out of the 500k and Napalm Orbital Barrage on both Bots and Bugs. The 500k's increased area of effect is especially powerful on bugs, since you can clear out entire nests in one well-placed toss. I am normally Medium all the way when it comes to armor, but I've been using Heavy lately on bots and it's been feeling way better. As a disclaimer I use Peak Physique armor mainly for the looks but the aiming responsiveness and even melee damage aren't unwelcome. With bots, though, I've definitely had the Heavy Armor letting me survive a LOT more than I was with Medium, as getting ragdolled by a random rocket or cannon isn't a death sentence. For bugs, one build I had a lot of fun with was going for a demolitionist. It's not a 'do everything' build but it WAS a lot of fun. Crossbow or Eruptor, Grenade Pistol, Thermite Grenades, Grenade Launcher, Supply Pack, Rocket Turret, and the 500kg. Use Peak Physique here, not Explosive Resistance. Why? Because if bugs manage to get up in your face, it's usually Scavengers, Hunters, or Warriors, and with the bonus melee damage you can easily take down a small pack of them in a fistfight. Anything bigger you can run and gun.
My favorite bot loadout lately Crossbow, thermite (for destroying favs from the side and over walls), dagger, medium grenade armor then use 500Kg Orbital 380, supply pack, and rail gun. The crossbow can kill shielded devestators way more easily since you get stagger and its easier to hit than the rail gun hitting the smaller face target due to the shield and rail gun one shots to the face everything else. My favorite bug loadout is the exact same except swap the 380 for napalm barrage and the rail gun for any sort of mob clear support gun like the arc or MG. Having the crossbow for closing those big bug nests is awesome. Can get all the holes closed without having to resupply.
I’ve gotta say the spray and prey feels amazing coming back after months of putting the game off until the entire thing died down. I also saw that they made flamethrowers back to their normal damage which is amazing because I loved setting everything on fire.
I use the crossbow with jetpack. I hope they buff the jetpack in the next balance patch. Both shield/laser dog or supply pack would be better for survival imo, but jetpack is just so fun and actually you can get some pretty nice places with it where not even the hunters jump/climb up and you can rain down from there with the crossbow. Also, I love jetpack for bughole closing, the nests are like craters and without jetpack, there are just certain points where you can exit from the crater, but with the jetpack, you can dodge the enemies in the crater really effectively, while jumping to the next bug hole and then also use the jetpack to jump out of the crater. Its a lot of fun.
hi thicc hi hiiii :333 also recoiless has been super fun but for me, the support playstyles this patch have been the most fun thing for me the stim pistol needs some aim assist though because it's annoying as heck to aim
My favourite loadout to play with randoms (which I always do) against bots: - Purifier - Dagger - Thermite ------ - The anti-explosion medium armor (from the store I think?) ------ - Quasar - Eagle strafing run - Gas strike - Gatling barrage I love this loadout because of the ammo economy; if your teammates split and use the supply drop on the other side of the map or if one is an ass and take 2 or 3 supplies, you can still survive pretty long thanks to infinite ammo of the Quasar and the Dagger, and the excellent ammo economy of the Purifier (which is the most slept on weapon in the game on the bot side btw...). Good at range, good at taking down packs of devastators, good at killing attack ships... Combined with the Dagger it's very effective! I also love this loadout because you have a free backpack slot, which I use to pick up extra backpacks from other players when available, and that happens quite often!
* Medium padded armor. Get heavy armor rating with medium speed and stamina. Extra armor is worth it. It’s stronger than medical perk (which was best in slot before the update) and stronger than more grenades. * crossbow * verdict pistol for littles and things that get close. * thermite grenade for more heavy killing. * ballistic shield. This makes you a tank and it meshes with the crossbow. Much stronger than the shield generator pack. * quasar. Limitless heavy killing. EAT is also fine. Both are also strong on fabricators. * airstrike. Crowd control. It can also take out a heavy. Good area of effect. More uses than 500k. * 120mm. These take out almost anything the 500k does. It softens up medium and heavy bases. Takes out things like mortar or grounded drop ships. It also recharges quickly so you get more uses than most other barrages.
For bugs … * light medic armor * crossbow * verdict or dagger * thermite * rover * machine gun sentry. Use this on cooldown. It’s huge. * orbital Gatling barrage for breach control. Machine gun works for this also. * 120mm for medium and large hives. Crossbow to finish them off.
@@thiccfila the engines on drop ships are pretty big targets, and I think it one shots tanks in the vulnerable spot. The recoilless HAS to do more damage. You get like 6 shots and what is the cooldown time on the strategem? What’s the fire rate of the quasar and how many shots do you get in that amount of time? Many more shots at slightly less damage per round feels like a good trade off to me. Just personal preference I guess. 😄
Definitely going to incorporate some of these. Some of my favorite builds are as follows BUGS- Engineer armor, primary doesn’t really matter, (been loving the new liberator penetrator) my beloved bushwhacker, but best of all grenade launcher, supply pack and thermites. You can keep the GL full of ammo and delete everything, and between thermites and whatever other air strikes you take, delete any big targets. The other big one is the classic arc thrower and jump pack. Without fail it provides me with the most kills every game. BOTS- Here I like to run explosion resistance armor, and the riot shield with the smg. Being able to just crouch and focus on weak spots, the SMG can kill most devastators with a short burst to the face. And the armor allows me to lose a tiny sliver of health when I inevitably get shot by a rocket. Usually I’ll take the AMR with this to take out the hulks and weak spots on turrets and tanks.
7:29 "Literally the only enemy that is not reliable to kill with the HMG Emplacement is the tanks". Proceeds to immediately kill a tank as it drops in front of the emplacement :D
If you're taking the HMG emplacement, start right by the extraction zone and drop one there. Then come back a couple times during the mission and drop another since you have a 4 minute cooldown. By the time the team is extrcting, there can be a bunch of those emplacements waiting for everyone. I've done that for a long time with walkers, though you can only have 2 of them out.
My buddy and I did a 'pew pew lasers' run just for fun and it actually ended up working extremely well. I used the scythe, dagger, and arc thrower. Just switch weapons when one overheats. It also gives you something for small, medium, and large targets. On the next mission, someone joined who was also using the arc thrower and holy doodie are dual arc throwers nasty. We hit a bile titan with a gas strike and spammed the two arc throwers at him and he dropped quick. I was surprised at how effective it was.
Glad to see the dagger getting some love. I've used lasers since the automatons were pushed out and came back, and now they're finally decent instead of my own personal niche. I ran eruptor, dagger, stun grenades and laser cannon. Now ive just changed the eruptor for the crossbow. Ps i started using the eagle strafing run and it kicks ass too. Psps, the eruptor used to be able to 1shot the striders in their chest area, which I was actually more happy with than when they had the OG shrapnel, buy doesnt really do it any more. I find myself dying more often for trying it, but the crossbow has filled a discount version of that role pretty well now too. Just... more difficult to actually land those shots to me than with the eruptor.
I also use crossbow for bugs. But I pair it with the flame thrower. I use the crossbow for distance, bug holes, and spewers. Then pull the flame thrower out for general mobs and the bigger guys.
@@doglog5748 Whenever I run that same loadout (sometimes eruptor instead of crossbow) I'll take a guard dog to keep the lil dickheads at bay plus either bushwhacker or senator (dagger is solid now as well). But if there's a whole horde comin at you just switch to flamethrower and light em up
It's interesting that you find heavy armor so bad now, I've been finding it extra helpful this patch and I tend to out survive my teamates hit by the same stuff *significantly* on the bot front. I take the heavy armor + 50% explosive resist + health booster and I find I survive *most* things that one shot unless it's directly to the forehead, if I take the shield as well I survive pretty much all one shots unless I get unlucky and ragdoll hard into something. I also recently changed my aproach on the bug front and am taking the 200 armor set since I figure most of my deaths bot side are explosion related (seems to be true) and not at all bug side and I was having really good results with that too, usually surviving most atacks *just barely* which tells me I am likely hitting just inside of a break point there Most of my armor choices are related to dying from a single attack or 'instance' where I make a mistake since I am not frequently in situations where I am exposed to taking a hit and then needing to take another hit right after in a way where being able to run a little faster would give me more of a chance. It does happen though and I do sometimes feel as though the movement speed would help a little, but those situations happen to me a lot less than screwing up and getting blasted by something, which if I'm not in heavy armor I just instantly die. I probably need to do more testing on it myself though if people's opinions are so strong on it
I honestly have had choice paralysis on the bot side since the patch. Everything feels so viable and if I don’t want to run a dedicated anti tank stratagem, I can always bring the thermite grenades
A great thing i discovered about railgun is that you can one shot fortress turrets, mortar emplacements and AA defense turrets from anywhere with an unsafe charge
This build for the bots is awesome. The one thing I change often is the gas to the big bubble shield. Drop your sentrie and HMG emplacement then your bubble shield and now you are unstoppable
Interesting video. I will say my builds just for example sake. Bugs: Cookout/Blitzer GP Stun Quasar Supply Backpack Orbital Napalm Barrage Eagle Airstrike Bots: Crossbow Veredict/Dagger Stun Railgun Supply Backpack Orbital Precision Strike Eagle Airstrike Supply Backpack is necessary for me now. It gives us so much freedom to play and survivability with a lot of stims and stuns.
@@doglog5748 Most of the time I use Cookout a lot to spam shoot everything and the GP to finish medium armor enemies. But you are right, when running Blitzer + Quasar you can choose another stratagem for that slot.
All of the heavy focused weapons are very effective now! Recoilless is great. But, so is the EAT, and the quasar, and the thermite grenade. Thermite grenade is pretty outstanding on higher difficulty to get those three extra heavy killing shots (half a Rrcoilless pack and easy to resupply). The reload time of the recoilless and the limited ammo is tricky at times. Never running out of ammo on the quasar has been huge. You can hit fabricators from a long way away. Or take out those hulks. A single hit anywhere on a cannon turret will mostly do it, a quasar plus a crossbow shot does it regardless of facing. You can freely always turn to take put a bot drop or a gunship. You dont have to be careful with your ammo. I don’t feel like there is as much differentiation between the heavy killers. They feel almost the same (there are subtle differences).
I like Commando + Crossbow against Chargers since you can Commando one shot the leg and 2 shot with Crossbow to finish. That's 4 Charger kills in one call in.
As for defense, I was trying the stim armor with the experimental jab booster. It's good, except it has one issue. Either flinch, ragdoll or animation cancels can interrupt it. Combine that with the common one shot kills the devs added recently & you can die with like 5 stims still in your pocket. Instead, what I started doing was use democracy armor with the heart booster or the vax booster. Feels like the heart booster might be broken in this patch or at least is probably weaker. Basically it lets your limbs break instead of one shot kills. but between that & the death save from the democracy armor, you got time to pop a stim & keep fighting. If you're not running recoiless, you can add an energy shield to either armor sets.
So far my favourite bug loadout with Gas has been Liberator Penetrator/Liberator Concussive + Grenade Pistol +Thermite Grenades with the Flamethrower and Dog Breath Guard Dog, other Stratagems I've enjoyed have been 500kg for objective destruction with an MG Turret or Eagle Rocket Pods + Orbital Precision Strike It's a fantastic and fun all rounder, for armour you can try fire resistance (the gas guard dog really doesn't spread gas on you unless you hug affected enemies)
my build ive been rocking for Bugs for Difficulty 10 with my premade: -30% Recoil + 2 max/starting grenades armour Liberator Penetrator Grenade Pistol Thermites Mech (either or) Supply Pack Medium MG Rocket Sentry/Mounted Machinegun I dont use the mechs myself, i have a buddy who also takes mechs and is our dedicated pilot. my function is to preserve the health/ammo of his mech by wiping out smaller enemies around him, especially on the defense, and using Thermites to kill off isolated armour enemies in patrols/guard posts. supply pack is supportive but also allows me to use stims/thermites with reckless abandon
Gotta admit. For the bots I run a very similar build, I just don't have the dagger unlocked so instead I run the P-19, and instead of the recoilless rifle I run the expendable anti tank so I can have a ballistic shield which works wonders with the crossbow. The other two slots for stratagems can be whatever I need depending on the mission. I also run Thermites with the engineer armor trait, helps with clearing automaton factories since you can just stick them to the sides if your up close to them or just use them as intended and throw it at big metal robots/tanks.
I would actually argue that the Eruptor/stalwart/ammo pack build nowadays is absurdly freaking strong against bugs, especially combined with the viper commando armor basically removing sway from both weapons.
For bots, alternative to stun/gas, thermite also works well to conserve support weapon ammo (or for laser cannon, lets you destroy fabs from the back/sides) instead of recoilless, riot shield with quasar/EAT/commando/laser cannon are all goos (and I recommend at least one person bring a riot shield to grab laser aggro so other team members can focus on rockets and other higher threats) If using thermite, I highly recommend demolition gear for extra nades.
Finally, a meta of no meta, just having fun. Some things are a little too strong, but nothings so broken (except you thermite grenade dont think we didnt see you) that its absolutely necessary to run anymore
I feel like the Gatling barrage got buffed because i see it killing tanks and hulks and with the almost 15 seconds uptime and 60 second cd i love it vs bots
I long for weapon or armor customization through unlockables. Minor tweaks and trade off for play style. Longer range for lower rate of fire, more damage in exchange for range, more ammo at the expense of accuracy.. All with small changes like single digit percentages through add-ons you select in your loadout screen. Armor and helmet mods could be incorporated in the same way.
9:34 The dog breath is the worst stratagem we have right now. What benefit does it give you, if it continuesly fires on one target only? It confuses it, yes, but it doesn't kill it. And when there are 20+ bugs crawling towards you, which is ususally what happens, how does one single confused bug make it easier for you? This thing would be great, if it would spread gas in an aoe, but in it's current form, it's utter trash and a waste of a stratagem.
12:01 you can literally see the group of bugs spawning all got gassed from my buddy. it also pretty much won't attack an enemy unless you start shooting it. the buddy's AI is possibly tuned the best of all of them. Running away from you also keeps it from gassing you or your teammate, and you can use it to escape. Also you should probably focus fire with it if it's sticking to a specific enemy.
@@thiccfila Might be because they breached. But after you pointing that part out, I started a mission to test myself. And no, it only focuses one enemy until it's dead. And boy, does it take long to kill even a scavenger. I don't know what's up with that, but that's how it is. Other creators noticed this, too. I believe AH wanted it to spray multiple enemies, but as of now it doesn't do it (or like in your specific case, only under certain circumstances). And yeah, maybe I should focus fire the enemy it's sticking to. But as I said above: One confused enemy at a time doesn't benefit me in the slightest. I can just kill it outright, right? I'm sure it will be S tier when it works correctly, though.
for bots my loadout is now actually heavy fortify armor, i switched off medium grenade armor recently because of all the chip damage, it seems to me to reduce it enough where i'm ok holding the damage for a little bit rather than stimming after every hit. I take AC, 500kg strafing run and the ORC. Scorcher, verdict, and then impact incendiaries. AC is just a general answer to virtually everything on bot front as is. if i need some big booms, 500kg has me covered, strafing run if i just need a little bit extra pin point fire power in front of me and ORC for when i just want the bad man removed from my screen
Diligence CS, recoiless, airstrike, and thermite grenade with the scout armor is perfect for bots. Plus it leaves you with 2 strat spots play around with. I usually run a obj specific strat like laser and a sentry or just 2 sentries. Game is so much more fun now that I try different weapon loadouts.
Definitely with you on the strategems. I don't see much point in the Dagger myself, but I don't think ANY secondary weapon is going to make much difference on the bots, so use whatever. What needs to be said though is that the damage-focused Orbital and Eagle stratagems generally AREN'T good on the bots. The 500kg that's completely god tier on bugs for example, can't kill hulks or tanks or factory striders so it's not particularly useful. Plus the general range issue where you are generally engaging Bots from a longer distance than you can throw (+30% throw helps, but then you have accuracy issues). The one exception is the Orbital Laser, although it has its own limitations.
the dagger kills every small bot instantly, and berserker with infinite ammo. crossbow for devastators. recoilless for eveyrthing bigger. it's literally the perfect combo
Running flamethrower against the bots is so fun. You can melt through hulks and devastators really well. The only problem is that trying to fight bots within spitting distance leads to obvious results
Interesting vid. Completely agree on gas, I really like this new confusion status effect. Feels like the proper chemical weapon now. Interesting how your views are conflicting with Ohdough's. I watched his two recent vids on primaries and stratagems. Seems like he would pick dominator for bots and breaker inc for bugs. Also he rated gas strat pretty low in both factions' tierlists. It seems that he would pick napalm barrage instead. Like both strats myself, but don't understand his low placement of gas. Considering low cd and high potential of gas, his placement seems a bit biased, I would say.
For bugs I go with countersniper, grenade pistol, thermite, throwing-arm armor (+50% throwing range cuz why not), 500kg, napalm barrage, emancipator mech suit, recoilless rifle.
For bugs, I run napalm barrage, 500kg, RR, and rocket placement. Including the blitzer, thermites, and grenade pistol w the localization confusion booster. Genuinely my favorite loudout for 9-10
I absolutely love that bot loadout!! RR fanatic - from the start. Dagger entusiast - long back. Crossbow admirer - yes, but from a distance, since it never was good, until now. I wanted it to be good. And now, my absolute #1 authority in HD2 says it's the best loadout for returning players? Smack me on my butt and call me Laurie, I'm in!
The cat ear helmet made me foam at the mouth with rage remembering Halo Infinite. I pray they never add cosmetics that are inconsistent with the game's tone.
Concussive has been pretty fun, my only gripe is that it "over-does-it" against warriors/hunters, making them stagger around like they're drunk for multiple steps, might even do it to Brood Commanders. Aside from that, it's great and I enjoy staggerlocking Hive Guards, Spewers, Berserkers, Devastators, keeping them in place until they die is just the best. However... it does just make me want a Liberator/Lib-Carbine/Lib-pen with a medium sized Box mag.
You can actually one shot a factory strider if you aim it at the front or the head of it and aim for the little eye. It has a little red glowing thing that looks like it could be an eye. It always one shots every time I hit it, but it can be a little bit iffy to hit.
Honestly so many things are actually viable now. You can really bring what you want to a degree. I have been using AC on bugs and it's like a Swiss army knife.
the crossbow took over the eruptor in my combo with the stalwart, amazing for dealing the bile spewers and prue mobing, i should try it out with dog breath cause stalwart stuggles with charging brood commanders
Lib concussive is so underrated this patch. in no other primary weapon can i fire for extended periods of time, applying cc, distance for nades or strategems. It’s the best utility available after the fab destruction of the xbow and eruptor
with the new gasmask helmet from acquisitions I've been doing nothing but machine guns/heavy machine guns with supply pack for maximum Jin Roh Wolf Brigade action
I've been running a ton of crossbow against both bots & bugs. It feels awesome now. I'll give the gas nades another go vs bugs. Thermite has just been too much fun.
Yah i just came back with the whole Bot Orders for space station and tried out a bunch of stuff and ended up settling into Crossbow, laser-dagger, thermite. so glad the laser dagger is usable now i have been wanting to use it a long time now. then i use either a 500 or primarily the Recoiless depending on if i want to pick up allied weapons or not, 380,120 and Hmg Emlacement which i am really pleased with can hold down an area really well and deal with gunships better than i originally expected and i was already a fan of that emplacement
I just started the game and i gotta say the recoiless rifle feels so unbelievably good. Dunking dropships and downing fabricators across the map is peak 😂😂
Against the bots, I almost always bring the HMG sentry and EMP/Rocket sentry. It’s easy to get swarmed, so I love having two sentries available to throw out to destract the bots, and I can shoot the rest myself. Recoilless is 100% the best. I still like Eruptor, but I’ll give the crossbow more love.
I use railgun, thermite on bot front. What the railgun can't kill in 1 shot the thermite will kill. The rest of the loadout can be anything for fun. I love to use supply backpack and help out teammates. For this I use the stim pistol to be extra supportive.
The crossbow can wave clear, knock out objectives, great range and deals a great amount of damage. The Dagger is just enough to target light enemies. I can't not play with this build. It can handle pretty much any problem and it's great.
Going to post what I've been using before watching. Use Crossbow Primary, Senator, and Stalwart with Thermite grenades. For the other two strategems, I use 500kg and orbital Napalm.
Great video. I will test this for sure, i love recoiless rockets. My personal n1 after they nerfed qwazar cannon. My small request for your future video - could you, please, put an icon of weapon next to the name? This will help a lot to people like me, who always plays localized version of the game and usually don't the original english name of the weapon. I had to stop video and google wiki for a weapon icon. But, Thanks anyway for your videos, they help a lot.

Its kind of lame for how broken it is though, but it looks too cool
Ironically the use of napalm is also a crime.
SCREW that orbital, you will get team-killed so many times if you aren't playing with 3 friends.
Counter sniper is SOOO fun to use now! It’s been my GO TO since the patch.
I'm so ass with that gun, I want to use it on bots but I like playing in third person aim, so the drag kinda kills me. I'm not good with it lol
@@Heyoo414if you don’t mind being limited to certain armours the viper commando warbond armours give peak physique which helps with weapon drag really good to run with weapons like that
I’m loving it. It’s like a longer range Dominator
I love the Liberator Concussive now, with a Supply Pack and a Grenade Launcher - it absolutely kicks butt!
My bot loadout is almost identical both for weapons and strats! Only differences are I bring MG Sentry instead of HMGE (spammable to deal with trash mobs) and a barrage for base clearing instead of Orbital Gas.
I get in those bases and set up to kill farm it
Same here, i always go for the walking barrage nowadays
I see the value of using the recoiless against bots, but I still prefer the spear. Being a able to easily take out the turret cannons from across the map is my fav.
And for some reason the recoilles struggles against turrets. Id rather us3 2 commando shots as theyre more reliable.
My slugger shot gun did some absolute WORK last night in botsville. We held the dam line!
Try the dominator is almost the same but better.
Thicc seriously put in the effort for this video. Like 10-11 hours of non-stop testing. Well done man!
Yes 10 hours of "testing" a video game. I'm gonna go "test" for 8hrs
I was a plasma punisher main, but now I'm only using crossbow
Your generally positive attitude is what keeps me on your channel.
There was a minute there the devs got me triggered tho lol
This is my favorite kind of video and its also proof of how much fun the new buff patch and warbond is. Completely new tactics and playstyles
Don't sleep on the gas armor against bugs. If you're surrounded, just run .into. the gas cloud and bait the enemies in. Then finish them off with your favourite close range weapon.
I just stim when I get gassed. Only the orbital can really kill you, the others don't deal much damage
That works too, if you have the stims to spare :D
When is Arrowhead giving us loadouts that we can save?!
Ooooh that would be sweet. Like 4-5 saved loadouts and you can give them funny names
That would go against their policy to try to coerce players into using different weapons. Yours is a great idea, though.
My favorite bot loadout lately
Crossbow, thermite (for destroying favs from the side and over walls), dagger, medium grenade armor then use 500Kg Orbital 380, supply pack, and rail gun.
I love the crossbow, my build for it is quasar, supply backpack, dagger, and stuns for bugs it's especially effective against bile spewers
I'm surprised you don't use the bush whacka
@thiccfila don't have war bond lol, but also it can kill shriekers effectively
True
Its a lot of fun.
they did confirm they’d look at the jetpack in the next patch, im excited
hi thicc hi hiiii :333
also recoiless has been super fun but for me, the support playstyles this patch have been the most fun thing for me
the stim pistol needs some aim assist though because it's annoying as heck to aim
lolol pilestedt seen the stim pistol aim and said "what the hell is going on"
hi sora :)
My favourite loadout to play with randoms (which I always do) against bots:
- Purifier
- Dagger
- Thermite
------
- The anti-explosion medium armor (from the store I think?)
------
- Quasar
- Eagle strafing run
- Gas strike
- Gatling barrage
I love this loadout because of the ammo economy; if your teammates split and use the supply drop on the other side of the map or if one is an ass and take 2 or 3 supplies, you can still survive pretty long thanks to infinite ammo of the Quasar and the Dagger, and the excellent ammo economy of the Purifier (which is the most slept on weapon in the game on the bot side btw...).
* crossbow
* verdict pistol for littles and things that get close.
For bugs …
* light medic armor
* crossbow
* verdict or dagger
* thermite
* rover
* machine gun sentry. Use this on cooldown. It’s huge.
* orbital Gatling barrage for breach control. Machine gun works for this also.
* 120mm for medium and large hives. Crossbow to finish them off.
Quasar doesn't shoot down dropships to the body or 1 shot tanks
@@thiccfila the engines on drop ships are pretty big targets, and I think it one shots tanks in the vulnerable spot.
The recoilless HAS to do more damage. You get like 6 shots and what is the cooldown time on the strategem? What’s the fire rate of the quasar and how many shots do you get in that amount of time?
Many more shots at slightly less damage per round feels like a good trade off to me. Just personal preference I guess. 😄
Definitely going to incorporate some of these. Some of my favorite builds are as follows
BUGS- Engineer armor, primary doesn’t really matter, (been loving the new liberator penetrator) my beloved bushwhacker, but best of all grenade launcher, supply pack and thermites.
I really like the concusive on both sides
I love how there are so many meta build videos with different metas in each
Next time we get an automaton kill MO, we gotta sit in front of the towers and just farm the tin-cans.
7:29 "Literally the only enemy that is not reliable to kill with the HMG Emplacement is the tanks". Proceeds to immediately kill a tank as it drops in front of the emplacement :D
Lol hey if you get the opening they get shredded
That sounds fun
Secondary has to be able to clear chafe if enemy gets too close
I also recently changed my aproach on the bug front and am taking the 200 armor set since I figure most of my deaths bot side are explosion related (seems to be true) and not at all bug side and I was having really good results with that too, usually surviving most atacks *just barely* which tells me I am likely hitting just inside of a break point there
Most of my armor choices are related to dying from a single attack or 'instance' where I make a mistake since I am not frequently in situations where I am exposed to taking a hit and then needing to take another hit right after in a way where being able to run a little faster would give me more of a chance.
Love the digistruct peak music in the background. Nice vid :)
Bugs:
Cookout/Blitzer
GP
Stun
Quasar
Supply Backpack
Orbital Napalm Barrage
Eagle Airstrike
Bots:
Crossbow
Veredict/Dagger
Stun
Railgun
Supply Backpack
Orbital Precision Strike
Eagle Airstrike
Supply Backpack is necessary for me now. It gives us so much freedom to play and survivability with a lot of stims and stuns.
Crossbow dagger is such a solid combo it's great. And railgun feels great against both factions, I just enjoy recoilless against bots more rn
Supply backpack with the blitzer and queso seems quite unnecessary
@@doglog5748 Most of the time I use Cookout a lot to spam shoot everything and the GP to finish medium armor enemies. But you are right, when running Blitzer + Quasar you can choose another stratagem for that slot.
problem with railgun is that you can't reliably kill tanks and fabricators/strider fabricator
Never really used recoilless rifle until last night and omg I found a new love of my life! RR with crossbow is insane!!!!
I just love the amount of viable weapons that we have now. It's amazing!
I like Commando + Crossbow against Chargers since you can Commando one shot the leg and 2 shot with Crossbow to finish. That's 4 Charger kills in one call in.
Ive been playing support diver. Stim gun and resupply pack. I like keeping my teammates in the fight. And the constant "thank you 🙂" gives me dopamine
So far my favourite bug loadout with Gas has been Liberator Penetrator/Liberator Concussive + Grenade Pistol +Thermite Grenades with the Flamethrower and Dog Breath Guard Dog, other Stratagems I've enjoyed have been 500kg for objective destruction with an MG Turret or Eagle Rocket Pods + Orbital Precision Strike
It's a fantastic and fun all rounder, for armour you can try fire resistance (the gas guard dog really doesn't spread gas on you unless you hug affected enemies)
my build ive been rocking for Bugs for Difficulty 10 with my premade:
-30% Recoil + 2 max/starting grenades armour
Liberator Penetrator
Grenade Pistol
Thermites
Mech (either or)
Supply Pack
Medium MG
Rocket Sentry/Mounted Machinegun
I dont use the mechs myself, i have a buddy who also takes mechs and is our dedicated pilot. my function is to preserve the health/ammo of his mech by wiping out smaller enemies around him, especially on the defense, and using Thermites to kill off isolated armour enemies in patrols/guard posts. supply pack is supportive but also allows me to use stims/thermites with reckless abandon
For bots, alternative to stun/gas, thermite also works well to conserve support weapon ammo (or for laser cannon, lets you destroy fabs from the back/sides)
instead of recoilless, riot shield with quasar/EAT/commando/laser cannon are all goos (and I recommend at least one person bring a riot shield to grab laser aggro so other team members can focus on rockets and other higher threats)
If using thermite, I highly recommend demolition gear for extra nades.
The video I was waiting, (especially for this major order) thank you
I can’t wait to try each of these! It looks like a fun way to play.
It's extremely low cool down and works as area denial. Also I don't get why people say it doesn't kill things anymore when it does.
Genuinely my favorite loudout for 9-10
looking good with the clean shave bro!
Really am liking the railgun against the bots. I love getting rid of the striders guns and they just walk around staring at you
The cat ear helmet made me foam at the mouth with rage remembering Halo Infinite. I pray they never add cosmetics that are inconsistent with the game's tone.
Here’s what I’ve been rocking:
BOTS:
- Crossbow
- Dagger
- Flashbangs or Sparklers
- Medium armor with Democracy Protects
- Railgun
- Supply Pack
- Eagle 500
- Shield Generator Emplacement
BUGS:
- Crossbow
- Dagger
- Flashbangs or Sparklers
- Light armor with Engineering Kit, Field Medic, or Fortified
- Medium Machine Gun
- Supply Pack
- Eagle 500
- Orbital Napalm
Concussive has been pretty fun, my only gripe is that it "over-does-it" against warriors/hunters, making them stagger around like they're drunk for multiple steps, might even do it to Brood Commanders. Aside from that, it's great and I enjoy staggerlocking Hive Guards, Spewers, Berserkers, Devastators, keeping them in place until they die is just the best.
However... it does just make me want a Liberator/Lib-Carbine/Lib-pen with a medium sized Box mag.
Farming bot drops with the detector tower looks crazy fun😮
Don’t you think it’s strange that crossbow is stronger than Eruptor?
Kinda true haha
3:46 Dust hits in Helldivers 2...brings me back to the Battlefield 3 days lmao
with the new gasmask helmet from acquisitions I've been doing nothing but machine guns/heavy machine guns with supply pack for maximum Jin Roh Wolf Brigade action
This video is THICC with good information. Thanks dude 👍
Thank you for the video hope your doing well
Recoilless and Crossbow is LOADS of fun on bots, pretty much my new main loadout. Whip out The Senator for chaff and blow everything else up
1:35 OOOF! I felt that miss in my core! 😭
Thicc's beard has been stolen, how could JOEL do this to us?
You can also kill tanks and even factory strider if you kill the drop ship before dropping them, which is not so easy to do.
Best part 13:26 The Amau
my favorite thing about recent patch is that there isnt a need for meta. obviously there will be better setups but almost everything feels viable
Primaries vs. Bots 1:20
Armour vs. Bots 5:33
Strategems vs. Bots 5:59
Going to post what I've been using before watching. Use Crossbow Primary, Senator, and Stalwart with Thermite grenades. For the other two strategems, I use 500kg and orbital Napalm.
Jar 5, recoiless, orbital napalm, 500kg, orbital Gatling barrage. Works for either bots or bugs.
i still feel shield backpack is chill gaming on bugs and with this crossbow fiesta, expo armor also helps a ton
Told ya the CB-9 is bloody awesome
Great video. I will test this for sure, i love recoiless rockets. My personal n1 after they nerfed qwazar cannon.
My small request for your future video - could you, please, put an icon of weapon next to the name? This will help a lot to people like me, who always plays localized version of the game and usually don't the original english name of the weapon. I had to stop video and google wiki for a weapon icon. But, Thanks anyway for your videos, they help a lot.
I put the icons when I showed the stratagems
