I understand now. These were Students! I was also looking for the Samba that actually Goes With this music. The basic elements of some Latin ballroom and jazz are there. However, some work can be done on synchronization. Also, we should not be able to tell when you are preparing for a lift, the effort behind it or see when a change is coming. These things should flow like water from one to another.
I’ve seen better synchronicity on storm- tossed cruise ships. This dance would be better if they moved at the bottom of the beat rather than the top. It’s like they spent the dance chasing the rhythm. So much wrong here. It’s like the cast of Guys and Dolls suddenly thought, “hey, let’s go Latin.” Doesn’t work.
