I'm a 59 year old woman who has survived cancer, molestation, rape and many hardships. I heard a lot of people speak but never heard a story so close to mine. When I heard les Brown I was blown away by the label put on him as a youth. I always thought I was stupid and heard it almost everyday of my life. After surviving cancer I asked God to make me whole mentally and open new doors. He led me to hear this man. I'm in a communication class and we had to choose a speech I chose this one. I'm not going to be old and tired. I'm ready to live and be different and thrive! Thank God for les brown. He ranks with TD Jakes my favorite of all time.!!!

I'm coming out from a 40 years marriage. my husband step out with another woman. it's hard to let go. I still love him, my heart is very heavy. we are still married. this just happen 3 months ago. my therapist told me that men go through midlife crisis. between the ages
40-65. I'll be 56 this year. I also given God the glory. God have made the man a very powerful speaker and his words also have moved me. much love to you. May God keep showering blessing down upon you.

I cry every night praying God here's my prayer. this the only men that I ever been with. God can you please restore my marriage. he been with this other women 4 months now. this have caused a lot of harmful effects on are adults kids and grandchildren.

(8/16/2021) I have never heard of Les Brown until yesterday as I was looking for a morning motivation to listen to. I am 56 years old, survived breast cancer at a young age and a single mother of a very young daughter at the time. I also have 2 different pre-existing conditions that has come up in the last 7 years. It's been a tough road for me health wise, but am thankful and grateful to God I am still here. I am also very guarded and hard to get to know. I need to break myself from this to change the narrative of my life, to be more confident, self-assured, and more open. I listened to two of Les Brown's morning motivations yesterday which lead me to continue listening to him everyday. He is the push I need, along with my therapy sessions.

Motivational Blogz I think it gets lost in RUclips land because there are several L. Brown videos on here that I view everyday but this is the first time I've heard this one.
Doubleshot98 Very well said man. I look back on the past few years of my viewings and I watched a lot of garbage that didn't really benefit me. Now there's nothing wrong with entertainment at all, but have to be careful with the intake of certain things. When I discovered what it is that I am truly passionate about, helping others, I happened to stumble upon motivational videos. Then Les Brown. since, I listen to him every morning. Before I workout. When I'm driving. And I put his words to action. Truly an inspiration this guy is and a help to many. Funny thing is, I'm pursuing public/motivational speaking myself. I'm sure Les has helped thousands. I want to do the same. Working to be able to do the same!

Justin Block its because people closest to you perceive worry as love and care. They put their fears of failure upon you so that you know they care about you. Ultimately, it's because they don't want to see you hurt. And they are too afraid and they think it's too much of a risk.
Justin Block the people closest to you in your life will often mimic that little voice in your head, not out of hate, but out of love. They want you to take the safe path, not realizing the damage it will do. This is because only you can see your vision. But because only you can see it, it will allow you to do things others have never imagined possible.

Its because it raises their own fears about not having achieved what they want in life, so to feel better they will try and discourage you so as to make themselves feel better and not threatened.
I still start most mornings with this snippet from a man who has helped more than most.

That was awesome I woke up this morning and happened to stumble into this particular speech it hit home for I am already living the life that he talks about fortunately for me I've done this on my own and listened to God I live the fitness lifestyle fortunately I'm retired with a nice salary so I made a point when I retired to make a conscious effort to continue Fitness so I do have the time there's no excuse I like when he says stay away from tired negative people I've been doing that strongly for the last year 2 it works great Thank You Les Brown and I will continue to listen to you remember health is wealth God Bless you Les Brown😁💪👍
