I have a problem. So I've started game development before but I haven't done development in 3 years. Should I make small projects or make a big game because I do have some experience.
I’m actually in the same exact situation, I started making small projects and made a RUclips channel to showcase my work and make money so when i feel ready with a great idea then i can start to make bigger projects
Great - As you heard in this video, make simple games first! You got it man, just imagine the potential. Small steps, one by one, to the top! Just start.

Whenever you can make standalone systems that work. Believe me, you can get simple commissions that you can take at almost any skill level in scripting and earn a decent amount if you know how to find them.
Hey Smarty, I have been using your script tips to invent my own roblox racing game "Lighting Racing!" It has a classic taste to it, and I wouldn't be able to get anywhere without ur help. One question though, I notice that random games go popular for no reason, so can I do the same for my game too without advertising lol?
Thanks for this video! I have an in development game that i can fully build by myself, but i do not know how to advertise it when i first release it (it will not have that many features on release, just a showcase of what i'm working on). How can i build a small community?
Hey i love ur tutorial! But can I ask u question? Can u make a tutorial to how to create an vote system like dress to impress/fashion famous? Thank u if u do it! I ask cuz im creating a fashion game and idk how to create the vote system😊
Games are the best way to earn because the top games earn millions of dollars or more - I don't think that people do that with commissions, and if they do it's extremely rare. Commissions are up there though, as they can be very good especially for solo developers.
I want to be game developer, it can be a great future in this field like job or solo developer, can I earn enough money from this to live a simple life
It's an interesting topic, isn't it? You might just find yourself wanting to become a developer the more you learn about it, as you'll notice it just lulls you in like nothing else, since Roblox game development is a real deep rabbithole to go down, that's why if you're interested in it, the truth is it's a great time to become a developer right now and start learning more about it - if you're here, and you're learning, putting work into researching it - take it from me, that means you definitely have what it takes to learn how to build, script, model, and create amazing games. I'm telling you, you could be very good at this. Imagine the potential.. really, what if you become a successful developer one day? Just start, you never know what could happen!
That's incorrect. Everyone needs money, developers included. And when you monetize your game, you actually make it better for the players. You add new features they can unlock, you let them invest more into the game they love, and you give them the chance to get rewards in game faster and easier. That's value, and that means monetization is a win-win for you and your players. If you monetize correctly, that's not greed, it's good game design that makes your game cater to everyone, from free-to-play casual players to wealthy people who want to invest in your game to improve their experience. And, it's just how things work. So, if you aren't here to earn, that's fine. You can watch another video, I don't need you to watch it. But don't tell people who have an honest desire to grind and make something that's lucrative that they shouldn't do it, that's their decision. However, if you're a serious developer who wants to make this your career, listen up and play the game of development as it is - instead of wishing it would change. Monetization is a vital element to the development process and it always will be. Earning as much as you can is a good thing for you and your players. Understand?
Earning Money is good. But a tutorial on how to handle Money and spend it wisely is way harder. My game made me 5,000,000R$ and i'm sitting here with no Experience gambling.
