Jimmy, thank you so much for putting these videos out there. I’m a recent diesel Range Rover owner(used). Within two months, under 1,000 miles, got the death countdown. Seller company gave me the run around. RR Dealer wanted $300 just to diagnose problem and wouldn’t guarantee seller warranty would cover it. No one in Houston works on diesel cars. Forums just talk about the issues but never present a solution. Man, I was panicking. Luckily, I’m an adept mechanic. Used my diagnostic tool to read the error codes. Thank you for putting them on your video titles! Truly, thank you! I was able to clean out the DEF sprayer and pipe intake. Erased the error codes except the countdown code. Anxiously drove it for around 15 miles and the death countdown went away. I wouldn’t have known how to fix it without your videos. Thank you! I only encountered an issue when removing the O clamp. The size 4 bolt stripped because it was seized. I had to cut off the clamp and replace it with a new one. Other than that, just followed your video and saved myself what RR said would have been $8k. So one final time… Thank you!!
Great Content Jimmy!! I've always been of the mindset that you need to be a mechanic anyway to own such a lovely vehicle /money pit. Look forward to seeing what you get up to in Twenty Three. Thanks!! 😇👌
Hi buddy, mobile mechanic myself struggling to make a decision on a land rover. I have codes p2049-12 open circuit and p2048-11 short to ground. Have cleaned the injector cleared codes and they return Have checked wiring all good I suspect the injector it's self is faulty, any advice?
Hi wondering if u could help please i have the same fault codes on my jag f-pace and i have looked at the inside the connector and wire harness everything’s looks good even buzzed out the harness pin to pin at the connector of the injector and buzzed pins to the silver material that wires are wrapped in no short to tht next step is to take injector apart and clean it out is there anyway by doing this that will get rid of the P2047-13 open circuit fault code?
i liked the original landrovers, 50s 60s, simple easy to repair. lost interest when they got big bulky and complicated. not sure of the off road abilities of the new ones, seen plenty stuck in snow. but i don't think many people buy them for off road use
Another very interesting video, this very same situation happened to my Range Rover Sport & it cost big bucks to fix, I could have sorted it myself with the appropriate scan tool but at £4000 for the Euro tab 11 that’s for the professionals. Are you aware of a scan tool that has the same functionality as the Euro Tab 11 for DIY price.
Riley I have my engine light on my peageut 308 1.6hdi code p1352, I've check the wiring done all the resistance test which is all good not sure what to do next do the relays go faulty any help would be great 👍👍👍

Sounds like I need to move to Houston. 🤠
100% agree with you all these cars now have fancy screens but yet to give you basic info
Makes no sense. If you overfill it then you have to drain the tank

Was thinking of buying an automatic gearbox servicing machine 🤔
Great content Jimmy and many more.
Thanks

Query it with Launchtech.co.uk
I'd say the Euro Mini or MOT pro 3
Good work. Well done.
Where to find some books or something to learn about dpf?
I'm not sure

Check power supply voltage. And earth cables. Think you have to remove the air filter housing
@@ORileysAutos thanks think I found the issue earth while to the relay had no resistance 👍
I'm hoping the owners will scrap one for this reason and I can scoop it up
Had one recently spent 11k at the dealer and the fault wasn't fixed after 3 return trips and parts cannon fired
