- I recently visited the vivo service center for repairing my friends Vivo 25 Pro.
It got a green line issue, post update to android 14. This is a video to help people what to do if they get a green line issue in their phone, especially vivo phone and stating under what circumstances the company may do a free repair.

Vivo ne mera vivo V25 pro ka screen replace kar diya free me with 3 month warranty.
Aapka bhi ho jayega bs usme koi physical dent(major scratches) aur Bo Pani gira nahi hona chahiye .
Device under warranty ho ya na ho isse koi fark nahi padta.

Haan to hamare phone mein dent hai to VIVO ye green line ke liye free replacement nahin degi and u say it's a good company ..wah ..matlab hamse phone ke back cover mein dent aaya aur Vivo ne display mein ugly green line de diya .. as if they are punishing customer for not handling their phone properly ...bhai tumhare phone mein dent hota and they would asked u to shell out 17k what would u have said about Vivo. Worst mobile company
Maine bola tha halke scratches chal jayenge. Phone pe dent tabhi aata hai jab phone takkar khaata hai. And woh log frame damage ko physical warranty mein iss liye nhi rakhte ki kalko agar ek damage frame kholte waqt toot gaya toh uska responsibility kaun lega? Aap toh loge nhi. Vivo k taraf main biased nhi ho rha, unhone mujhe ek rupiya nhi diya but business perspective se socho. Dusro ka wajeh se hua damage k wajah se phone ka company kyu bhuktega. And phone cover se laga dent k liye main bolunga it's just your bad luck. At the end of the day bohot jaga paise dekar bhi service nhi milta dhang ka idhar yeh toh mil rha hai.

Agar dent ke wjaa se shell toot gya toh new shell daalne ka paisa lelo customer se, lekin nahi, unhe display ke paise lene ke liye koi na koi reasom chahiye issi liye kuch b faltu reason de raho hai company, jo bhi damage phone me customer ke wja se hua hai uss damage ka paise customer se lelo. Lekin display toh vivo he repair krke dena chahiye vo bhi free me.

Good morning bhai please ek accha wala phone suggest Karo budget 20000-25000 mein ek BTech student hun study ke liye acha battery backup average camera and good network connectivity phone chahiye aur jo Jada use karne per over heat nahi hota aur alag brand se jyada battery drain nahin hota mein Vivo T3 phele socha tha lekin wo heat aur jyada battery drain hota hai alag brand se jyada
Aap ko T3 pro mein dikkat lage toh aap moto edge 50 fusion ko checkout karo, yeh 2 phones iss price segment mein ache hai, oneplus ka abhi main recomend nhi karunga kyuki unka firse update ka issue chal rha hai, phones firse kharab ho rhe hai, maine T3 inhand use toh nhi kiya but moto edge 50 fusion use kiya hu, badiya phone hai iss price mein.
X60 mei abhi kal hi green line aagyi I don't know purane phone ki change krenge bhi ya nahi

If you don't have any dents and deep scratches on your phone then they should replace the screen free of cost.
But it depends on your model as well. For v25 pro it was a software issue that's why they replaced irrespective of the warranty status.
Service centre ask for money
Maybe you're having some physical damage on the phone. Did you ask for the reason?

but Uv tempered glass screen mein dalne par warrenty claim nahi hoga website mein mention hay toh uske jagah kaunsa screen protector use kar sakte hai Jo minor scratches se bhi bacha sakta hai
Mera personal opinion yehi hai ki apko tempered glass lagwana hai phone pe, agar aap bohot rough use karte ho toh curved screen matt lo, but agar aap fir bhi lena chahte ho then thoda careful ho k use karo, woh protective film jo upar diya hota hai usse bhi apka chal jayega agar careful ho toh. Uv glue k wajah se warranty void ho hi sakta hai agar uski wajah se kuch ho and warranty fir gaya, itna risk na lo new phone k saath, mera hi yeh recommendation rahega.

So far it didn't happen with my device. It's working fine. But as far as i know they give a warranty on the display so if it happens again within that period then they will give replacement again.

Motherboard ka shayad pay karna ho sakta h, screen ka free replacement hai. Motherboard ka pucha nhi tha but aur brands bhi charge kar rhe hai toh ho sakta hai ki yeh bhi charge kare.

This is an update issue so if you don't have any damage on the body of the phone and no water damage then you get a free service.

It is very hard to tell what they do internationally, for India it is the same everywhere.

Same day agar part available hai agar nhi toh they will tell you to come back again after the part arrives, they don't keep your phone.

Very informative video. I think greenlight issue with this particular model i mean v25 pro. Do you have any information of particularly Vivo V series phone which have green light issue?
Thank you sir. Yeah when I visited the service center I saw many people with v23, v27 and their pro models as well with green line issue. Even the X series also like x80 x70.
Then it may be from update. Asking you one question is it safe to buy vivo v40 at this stage due to this type of issue. May you suggest?

Yeah you can, coz this is not an issue from just vivo's side it's from every brand. So many phones that's why optimisation is less. You can go with vivo, they are taking it on them if it's their fault. Go with any brand of your choice just check the aftersales experience videos on youtube and then finalize. That's it.
Contact the service center, you might get a free replacement

This depends on how much warranty they give you after replacement. I'm sorry I really can't remember now how much time they provide but they give a certain time under which if you face the same issue they will replace it for free.
@@AniketTechTips I see i don't have warranty they replaced my screen last time when it was out of warranty I think they should take responsibility even it appears 2nd time otherwise what the point of buying flagship Vivo phones
I guess they will do it for free if it's the same issue and not any other thing. You can just visit the service center again. That will be best. Sorry but I can't help more because I am not in touch with the brand. I just shared my experience with vivo in the video.

Back up was needed since it was just a screen replacement. They returned it the same day. I waited for 4 hours in total and it was done.
Not fair, mere phone me green line vivo ke update ke waja se hua and that's why unhe unconditional free replacement dena chahiye, dents ya scratch ke waja se ye green line nhi aaye, vivo ke update ke waja se nhi aaye, ab customer ko vivo ke galti ke waja se khud ke hard earned paise kharch karna padh raha h, isse acha one plus h jo aapke phone ke value ka coupon dete h jisse aap vo coupon encash kar sakte h
Iss baat se main inkar nhi karunga ki vivo ki galti hai ki update ki wajah se kharab ho rhe logo k phone but abb company k apne terms and conditions hai, uska humlog kuch nhi kar payenge. Hum unka phone khareedte hai toh automatically hum unke mentioned rules ko indirectly agree karte h. Main vivo ko isliye acha bola kyuki service fir bhi de rhe hai, completely waste nhi jaa rha apka paisa. Additional paisa lag rha hai in some cases but phone wapas sahi ho rha hai, better than ki woh completely reject karde ki apka phone hum repair nhi kar sakte. Aise kuch brand/brands hai main naam nhi lunga

Isse ache samsung aur one plus hai jo unconditional free repair ya replacement krke de rahe hai, lekin fir bhi baat rahi service center experience ki, toh staff aur ambience dono bohot acha hai vivo ka, lekin vivo ke ajeeb terms and conditions ke wja se mujhe mera display free me replace krke nahi mila jab ke mujhe milna chahiye tha.

Settings mein jao, back and reset mein jao, fir google server fir back up my data. But sreen k liye backup ki zaroorat nhi pari thi mere experience mein. Aap safety k liye karlo backup but phone format matt karna, shayad apka bhi kuch bhi na ho and bass screen replace hoke aa jaye

Yaa you can, mine was done like that only. They told me no need to format the phone, I can keep a backup if I want for my assurance. If you want to backup and don't know how to then just before submitting your phone, tell them to do the backup, it will take a few minutes and they will do it, don't hesitate to ask.
