Do you know which one is better XSR700 or MT-07? Build quality wise. There isn't many comparison videos between the two even though they use the exact same engine.

Hahaha yeah it's indeed the a2 35kw model.. The Akra does help a tiny bit to make it faster 😉

@@syamilazfar2394 I definitely would yeah! I rode a full power 07 once and the difference is huge! Not that this bike is slow by any means tho. I'm 99% sure this is the fastest A2 bike out there.
It's such an awesome hooligan machine :). Feels great in the corners, I would go for it! (Or the MT-09, but I would first go for the 07 as the 09 is insanely fast) 👍👍

This area looks a lot like the energy corridor of the Texas Gulf Coast (with the same crummy back roads)! Wonderful ride and I love how you showcased the handling, which is rare in this kind of video. Plus, you didn't kill any bicyclists! ;)

I was looking to upgrade to the hero 7 so I think I will now! With the hero 5 anything over 50kmph is just wind noise haha! I subbed man, love the area you're in and the bike of course ;)
@@LuckyLukeRides yeah I feel you! Had the GoPro 4 black (or still have actually) before this one! You can hear the difference yourself on my first ever video (Honda MSX). Difference is massive! Don't know how they've done it, but it works absolutely perfect!! 😎
@@MTRides Yeah I checked out the Honda MSX video man, the difference is crazy! Do you mind me asking what audio settings you're using on the Hero 7? Is it just set to auto? Doing some research I didn't even realise you can mess with audio settings on the newer GoPros! :)
@@LuckyLukeRides of course man ask away!! I actually didn't know you could mess with the audio settings myself haha! Glad to say that this is just full auto ! In the first few seconds of riding you can hear some audio changes tho.. My guess is that the GoPro alternates between the 2 mics (on top & under) for ideal sound. Maybe I'm wrong, you're the expert now ;)

What happened to all those boarded up stores and buildings???Do you have Halloween where you are cause tonight it's Halloween in Southern California.Nobody comes to my house anymore to get candy for Halloween.In the late *60's,70's,and 80's.It was fun being young and going out on Halloween to get candy from your neighbors.And to give candy back to the local kids when they knocked on your front door.It was a lot less complicated.Now people are scared to trust one another.And you got the internet,cell phones,and Covid 19.You have to wear a mask now because of Covid 19.The world has become very busy and dangerous.I just keep on keeping on.I'm buying a new bike in a couple weeks.So I'm excited and happy! Do you think older models of the MT-07 sound better than the current one? I wanted to get a new one, but from my researches 2017-2018 models have a more refined sound........ I would get a new exhaust with it anyway (Akra or Zard), is it more sensible to buy a new or used one? (What´s keeping me from a new one is sound potential & price, from the old one the fact that I don't know how good the last owner looked after it) :/

Did you remove the DB killer yourself, or did you get a shop to do it? I've tried removing mine with no luck..
I got mine as an option with the bike & told the dealer to remove it :). He did all the 'hard work'. There is a vid on YT somewhere that shows you how to do it for this model! 🤙

i find the top speed run took to long did you tune your bike after putting the exhaust i have a 2015 mt 07 with stock exhaust and mine accellerate faster to 180 but maybe its the wind but i did ride mine in hard wind i live in nl to but mine seems faster with stock exhaust i love the sound of yours

We get the same spec in australia under the LAMS system. I was watching someone talking about what makes the bike different from the full power version and it seemed to be too easy to remove the restrictions to make it the same as the full power version. One of the items is a simple metal plate restricting the throttle from going fully open and it was just a case of removing it. Do you know if that is the case?
I indeed have that same metal plate, but there are other parts which a Yamaha dealer has to remove and send back to Yamaha when installing the A2 conversion kit. So unfortunately it's not all that simple.. But no worries, this is fast enough for now. Later this year it's MT-09SP time ;)

is top speed really only around 160 ish its an awesome bike but i thought it could do close to 200 at least. im about to buy either the fz07 or the fz09 but cant freaking make my mind on which, i do like speed occasionally but also be taking it to work everyday so wondering how easy it would be to lane split with the fz09 hoping its not too big. thanks for the video man really heplful
Go for the 07. Had more fun on that bike even tho this one from the video was restricted to 35kw in power due to license restrictions in Belgium

Ik zou sowieso direct de standaard uitlaat wegdoen ja ;). Geluid van een aftermarket uitlaat op een 07 klinkt meestal waanzinnig goed!! 😎

Bedankt! Ik heb de uitlaat als optie genomen dus zat al gemonteerd toen ik de moto ophaalde :). Maar idd, de hele demper moet eraf want de demper moet bij dit model eruit 'geboord' worden omdat ie vastzit met een lasnaad. Als je weet waar je moet boren is het 2x niks! Crazy sound zonder db-killer ze 😎

Giacomo Badomer you gotta drill a hole where the weld is that holds the db killer to the muffler. And then you just pull out the db killer
