    This great device has saved my life - not to keep an eye on my kids like Dave. I am full time caregiver for my 96 year old mom and I needed an easy way to keep an eye on her. This has been a real lifesaver,

    I'm trying to setup the wyze cam v2 for the second time and the camera just isn't responding, the first time I was able to carry out the setup without any hazzels. How do I setup the camera again ? The part where the camera responds ready to connect is where I'm stuck at. Kindly revert.

    Just bought my 3rd wyze cam v2 but it will not scan. I had no problems scanning the first 2 on my smart phone. I turned the router off and on, checked my network password but nothing. I've moved the camera in and out, tipped it up/down, nothing. Please help.

    Would be great to see a Windows 10 app when I'm at work in front of my PC. Ring has an app for W10 that is ported over from iOS or Android and works great.

    Usb cord and the plug was missng from one of my boxes. I ordered 2 wyze cams been using only ONE for a few years. BECAUSE I CAN'T GET THROUGH A CUSTOMER SERVICE SO I CAN ORDER A CORD AND PLUG

    I do all steps and also scan QR and do say QR Scan and wait. then after waiting of 150s. It time out and no connect and say check your network. I am connecting to 2.4G so do not know what is problem. I have tried other MFG Cam on my network no problem but have problem only with Wyze. Can you help me?

    My WyzeCam V2 worked for about a day, but then it stopped working. It just said "Power Cycle your Camera (Error Code -90)" And so I looked it up, and apparently alot of other people were having the same problem. Also, every time I tried to turn it on, it makes me redo the setup. Please help, as we were excited to get this, as we think someones been going into our house, and it worked for a day, then nothing.

      Oh no! What a horrible situation! Let's see what we can do about your Wyze Cam. :)
      Error Code 90 is the most common error code because all it means is that the server can't locate your Wyze Cam. Generally, this will be caused by either a power or connectivity issue. Power cycling means to unplug your Wyze Cam and plug it in again. But before you try that, could you please check to see what color the light is on your Wyze Cam and if it's flashing? That will help us figure out what was going on here (though power cycling will probably fix the issue at least for the short term if not longer).
      When you try to turn on your Wyze Cam, are you pressing the button on the bottom of the camera or are you just unplugging it and plugging it back in?

    is there an option to view cam activity on a website/browser? (other than cell phone) where is the video footage stored? a cloud app?

      At this point, we have not enabled a computer method for viewing Wyze Cams.
      The alert videos are stored in the AWS cloud and you can access them through the Notifications tab in the Wyze app.
      Manually recorded videos are stored directly on your phone and you can use either the Wyze app Album or your phone's Gallery to view them.
      Videos recorded to your microSD card are stored to the microSD card and can be seen in the Playback section found when viewing the Live Stream of that Wyze Cam.

We have received a number off requests about viewing the app on a computer and we are currently researching that feature.       If the camera is unplugged, none of the features will work. If there is a power outage, the camera will usually reconnect when the power comes back on. If it doesn't, power cycling the Wyze Cam will restart the connection. :)

      With the camera plugged in, press and hold the setup button on the bottom of the camera for 10 seconds. If you have a Wyze Cam v1 hold it for 20 seconds. This will reset the camera.

    Mine keeps saying "Cannot find network or cannot find specific network name." So I'm in trouble after barely getting started!

      Whoops! Well, we can help out with that. It looks like either you are trying to connect to the 5GHz network or you have entered your network name incorrectly.
      What I have found helps with this is to connect your phone or tablet to your 2.4GHz network and try the process again. You can verify your password at the same time if you want by forgetting your 2.4GHz network's information in your phone or tablet, restarting your device, and then connecting to that network again. If your password is incorrect, you should hear, "Cannot connect to local network."

    When is the USB connection used for on the back of the WyzeCam?

      That can be used for plugging in the Wyze Sense's Bridge so the sensors can connect to the camera's network. Some users also use the USB port to daisy chain cameras!

      @@bens2603 the Wyze Sense is another product we offer which has several components. The Bridge is essentially a USB dongle which connects to the back of a v2 or Pan camera using the USB port.     My sound constantly cuts out, when I am playing back from the sd card the sound is waaaaaaay off(when it’s actually working). Idk what would be causing this but it happens with EVERY video I record and hold on my phone.

      After you can the QR code wait until it says set up complete , then check the box and press next . If that doesn’t help then maybe wanna send a message to Customer support .

I got the outdoor mounting kit for them and they were easy to install. Once you download the app, it walks you through the very easy set up. The clarity, and range is awesome. I am thinking seriously about adding another camera or two to my 3 camera system. The price is lower than a lot of comparable systems.

      Ah... Your phone's operating system is not compatible with our app. If you upgrade your phone's OS (if possible) or get a more recent phone that should work. But I think that the s3 won't be able to function with the Wyze app because it won't work with the more recent operating systems. We're sorry. :(

    My Wyzecam doesn't connect to Google Wifi. The reason for this is that Google Wifi is a mesh system and it broadcast both 2.4ghz and 5ghz on the same SSID. The Wyzecam isn't smart enough to know there is also a 2.4ghz in the SSID because my phone is connected automatically to the 5ghz. Dumb. Now I need to return this product for a refund. 🤦‍♂

    The setup is a joke, the system ask for an email to send various codes. The email is nevr sent. I wastd my money on two cameras and I can't complete the setup!

    I just got this camera a week now and working good but the email notification don't work well. I get them once in a while. But most of the time I get nothing at all ☹️☹️☹️. The sensitivity on the camera is around 80 precent and nothing at all. I think camera need a software flash update. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

    Your video is incorrect. You need to tell which camera or which QR code to scan.
    IF ANYONE IS READING THIS. REMOVE THE PLASTIC PROTECTOR ON THE WYZE CAMERA FIRST. THE WYZE CAMERA NEED TO FAVE THE PHONE QR CODE !!! Took me 20 min to figure this out.

    Hello Mr. Crosby
    I just wanted to let you know I ordered seven cameras and was going to reffer my company to buy more. Unfortunately I called twice today to get help support and I waited like 25 mins for someone to answer and then he reffered me to an email and didn't want to walk me through it.
    I'm an older guy and not tech savvy and needed help with hooking up my wyze cams to my Verizon ml 900 jet pack.
    I left the call with I will just return them all and he said ok do that.
    What a huge disappointment with your company. I have better service getting my dog groomed a pet smart!!!
    I can see you company failing if you dont get representatives who care!!!

    Finally got it going, but immediately afterward I got a notice that an update was available. I clicked on that, and it froze at 31%. AND the camera no longer worked!

    Why would a company release a product so amazing in limited quantities (wyze car) and then not have their servers able to handle to load? I'm not the only person who's "word of mouth advertising" isn't going to be good anymore. You shoulda made it for everyone and not just 5,000 people lucky enough to get through to your crappy servers. Do you realize how much those things woulda sold? They'd be one of your best sellers but you only made 5,000. Not a good business strategy. Everyone hates you now. Lmao

    Very unreliable. I have had to remove and reinstall each time I want to use it. Throw it away and think about the
    $20 hamburger you could have bought instead!
    You get what you pay for....but this time you didn't.

    The instructions aren't even close. There's no app on Apple app store. I created my account and never received any email with verification code. The account, though I can use it to log into their web site doesn't work on the phone app. The phone app won't accept the account and doesn't issue any error messages saying its an invalid account or anything... it doesn't do anything. Tried calling but was on hold for a long time but couldn't take the "music".
    Seems like the product is from a startup company run by idiot children.

    My V2 has worked fine for 6 weeks, now whenever the power is disconnected (even for a few seconds) I need to do a factory reset when I plug it in again, it doesn't automatically connect like it used to.
    Any ideas what's going on?
