Samsung's One UI software is highly controversial. It's packed with features but struggles with fluidity and ease of use. Personally, I hate One UI, which is why the goal of this video was to fix it. Would you want this to be One UI 7?

The quick settings are one of my least favorite parts about the current One UI design. I'm really hoping that gets a redesign in One UI 6!

As someone who's main problem with OneUI is how oversimplified and boring it looks, lovely!
The shading on the icons adds a bit more depth, the more AOSP-style control panel looks much nicer!
Samsung should hire you as a Graphic Designer, since their current ones sucks quite hard personally

If they introduced the vertical app list, I hope they also let us revert to the horizontal one. The sole reason I like the horizontal one is because I can sort the icon by my preferences and that, tbh is a great thing. Never even understood why it's hated
Yeah being able to switch back and forth at the user's choice is definitely ideal

just like the actual samsung one ui, it proposes very little changes, so i can totally see it being adapted into the actual one ui 6

Only issue I had was the icons and the lock screen music widget. They're still the same and don't look like the Android ones, which I love. Loved what was done with the notification shade though.

If this is just a concept, why is everyone here excited as if it were real?? I believe nothing until it's officially unveiled by the the brands themselves.
This honestly feels quite close to what i imagined oneui4.0 to be after using the android 12 betas but somehow its even better ( idk what I'm saying lol). Its a shame samsung's interface is still same.

you can attempt to recreate this concept into actual software for ONEUI 6, because samsung is open source, it's extremely customizable and the ability to mod it and what you can do with the sheer power of apps alone is crazy.

I was boping round icons when I saw that sketch, but nope, squircles again. It's a concept but I wish Samsung had different sets of icons of different shapes so we can choose the shape of the icons on the entire system. Also have a better Theme Park experience to customize icons, because as it is right now, that's really cumbersome...

So this version no longer has anything from the original one ui, but it adds things from the google pixel customization layer
It has. It's has one of the worst design from real one ui. The ugly implementation of white semi transparent background on the app drawer, noti and so on.
Literally one of the worse implementation of white semi transparent background that any current phone could have.
I prefer this concept look. Quick settings looks way better then what Samsung did in One Ui 6. It was stupid to remove that One hand accessibility it had before in Quick Panel or settings.

All I see is text, a desktop, and any animations in between. 🤔 The only "new" is the idea of Quick Settings and App Drawer in a list view. However, this can already be activated via Good Look. Doesn't anyone know that you can select the pages using the dots? It's faster than scrolling and typing. The lock screen also only has a different music widget. It's a shame I would have expected more from a new concept... But the quality is top - only you're just as stupid afterwards as if Samsung wanted to convey all One Ui features in a 30-second TV spot 🤭
This is an awesome concept, but I hope they never change the music player. The one we have now is soooo good.
