The enthusiasm more than makes up for any mistakes in pronunciation. Remember, those mistakes come because someone has read a word before hearing it pronounced. It's sign of intellectual curiosity.
Lol good video homie. A few corrections to help you advance. Tourbillon is said 'Tore be yon' The open heart is the balance wheel. Patek Phillipe is said 'fuh leap' Homage is said 'ho mahj' The design on the rotor is called jeweling 6 tics per second is a low beat movement. They're usually a bit jumpy, that's likely why they opted out of the second hand. 8 beats is what gives you that beautiful sweep Glad you're enjoying your time piece. 🤘
It seems a good watch to get into mecanical pieces. Good honest review. I started my journey with a £30 KS automatic watch (British microbrand) back in 2015. About 80 watches later, my collection grew in quality, so as my knowledge of quality versus value. Now I know exactly what is my style when shopping for one. So yes, good choice to start this passion. Attractive design and seems to give value for your money.
If it was 40mm or smaller it would be in my cart right now, but it looks a little yuuuge for me. My wrist is a little smaller than yours. Keep it up man. And repeat after me: "pah-TECK fee-LEEP". And "tour-bee-YAWN". :-)
I bought this watch for $38 CAD not expecting too much but it is very good quality. The only thing I didn't like was the band so I replaced it. Now I have to find one for my wife with a metal band.
An "in-house" movement means that the manufacturer produces the movement as well as entire watches. Very few Chinese watches have "in-house" movements, unless that are also a major movement manufacturer, like Tianjin Sea-Gull, Guangzhou Watch Co., Shanghai Watch Factory, or Liaoning Peacock. This is either a Sea-Gull, or more likely a Shanghai movement.
I have the same watch with the black face. It keeps good time and has a decent power reserve. Not a great reserve but decent. For under $50 you can’t go wrong. It actually looks and feels real good. I’m not sure if it’s waterproof but I’m tempted to find out lol.
Nice job. I know this is 3 years ago and you are probably more experienced at this point but still good. The band on this thing is pretty much trash. Beautiful to look at as you said. I have silver with a white face and replaced the garbage butterfly for a black leather strap. Not on you, everybody and absolutely every vendor calls that a moon phase complication. Drives me nuts. It's a "sun up, sun down" complication. It tells you nothing about the moon except it has a picture of the moon on it. Good job with the review though, think I'll take a look at something newer and see how you've improved.
It’s a dress watch so I don’t see any problem it doesn’t come with lumen, tbh it’s a beautiful watch with sun and moon complication for such low price Do you still have it? Has it already fallen apart?
I wonder how many times since the publishing of this video that he kicked himself for the pronunciation of Lige and tourbillon. Additionally, how many times he regretted featuring this watch
Sorry to be negative but it astonishes me that as a "content creator" you haven't made any effort to learn how to pronounce the names of many products correctly. Pah-tek Phil-leep. Not patak philip.
Imagine taking watch and finance advice from a 12 yr old who can’t pronounce any of the watch terms correct and also thinks the case is crocodile leather. In all seriousness, if your gonna do watch reviews you need to learn to say “Tourbillion” and Patek Phillipe correct.
It is a beauty. It actually reminds me of a Lange. BTW, "tourbillon" is pronounced "tour-bee-yoan" and Ithink that "Lige" is pronounced "lee-guh". I have two of them and they are just enchanting.
I think that with this watch probably I will pick up a girl. Probably she will think that I'm a rich man and she will want be my girlfriend. In my little island if somebody wear a watch that don't say Casio it's considered a good man. I hope that with this watch probably my Life will change soon. Thanks for give me the opportunity of my life! My idea is open the case of the watch, delete the brand LIGE and write with a permanent pen the brand Patek Philipe. I think that it's a great idea! If the girls doesn't approach much she will don't recognize the difference!
Not going to lie I stopped watching the video bc ur butchering names of movements names of very well know watch makers your video could have been worth watching if u just learn how to say the name of the homage watch ur trying to describe the patek philippe pronunciation not a phillip and u kept saying tourbillon wrong as a watch buyer seller and collector it hurt me to hear you talk about the watch
Hey, this is an older video and since then I have learned many of the pronunciations of watch brands, parts, etc. In fact I’m working at a watch and jewelry store now so I have gained an a lot more knowledge about watches. But I’m sorry you feel that way.
I bought this watch and enjoyed it for three days only. After 2 hours of playing tennis with this watch on my hand the watch stopped working. It is a nice looking piece of crap. And check the liege pronunciation a meaning of this word

Agree. Loved the review and helped me to make up my mind about getting it.
Van, you are a class act responding to that criticism the way you did. Some of us appreciate your videos. Keep up the good work my friend.

you're making a mistake in tourbillon. It's pronounced too-r be yon (not tore) :) short R, like tour de france

is it still working

Hi, do you still have the watch? If you do, could you kindly tell me if the movement still works fine and if the colour has faded or not
Great review. You are a class act responding the way you do to some of these uncalled for criticism. Keep up your good work.

I've worn this frequently for 3 years , never let me down however I changed the strap to a nice Italian leather
Good job, Kid, you'll get better as you continue to put in the work, I bought the watch because of your review.

Thanks for the review. The pronunciation of patek and tourbillion wqw kind of funny.
Great review!
Over all - Great review.
I expect bit more on the 'technical durability'
But over all - thank you!
Good video! Need some work on pronouncing the names and other details but we all are still learning and can always learn more! Keep it up!
Would be nice to see how the sub dials are set. And btw. the thing you can see is definitely a balance wheel. The main spring is something else ;)
Thanks for the review!
Bravo kid! Good work! 👏👏😎👌
Pretty nice quality, features and design for 40 dollars.

Great vid kid, sure there are some decent watch out there. How bout some Pagani Design review (the new omega homage), would love to see it
The rotor spins freely because it is a single direction Miyota 8200. It freely spins on the non winding direction. It doesn’t mean it winds easily.
Are you sure if it's a miyota because I cannot find this information anywhere
Great Review!
Yr video is very helpful .Thanks👍
Hi Van, did your model had a pin in the middle of the strap lock, if yes how did you remove it, please?
Hi, yes it does all you have to do is flip the latch and kind of hold the leather up away from the buckle.
@@VanTheCarMan thanks.

Do you still have it? Has it already fallen apart?
I sold this watch a couple months ago on eBay but it stood up pretty well and never broke on me for several months.
That's not a link tool it's for the pushers ..
There’s literally a half cut dial pasted over a full dial underneath it, what a Chinese masterpiece 😂😂🤣
Good Job!
I've seen these watches on temu. If they came with a smaller dial size it wouldn't be half bad for the price.
Seller site says 3ATM water resist but cannot be taken to shower or swimming with.
Personally I would not swim with a 30 m water resistant watch, I even get nervous when I wash my hands with a 30 m watch.
good video mate.
I wonder how many times since the publishing of this video that he kicked himself for the pronunciation of Lige and tourbillon. Additionally, how many times he regretted featuring this watch
its funny cause this is my second most viewed video too... i regret saying tur buyllon
You’d be better off saying “Patek uncle Phillip” your names of these watch brands is wrong. Thanks for the video nonetheless

No sir, it is a original design lige
