    This is gold. Never saw a band interview of Nirvana with Chad. He was fired very shortly after this. But looks like they really liked him and he was a friend... Kurt seemed so different here, so much talkative and "normal" I guess.

      Well the good news are you're both wrong bcs rock is thriving but not in the mainstream. bands like Prince Daddy & The Hyenna, Microwave and too many other emo acts, pop punk never really died and it's only getting heavier and fused with hardcore and metal, Knuckle Puck and Calling All Captains are great examples. there's WAY too many great rock bands at the moment and a lot of them have been around for close to or over 10 years. but they rarely ever leave the underground independent spaces, which honestly isn't the worst thing in the world, modern indie labels take good care of their bands.

      He was so young when he died as well...I remember the day when that happened, I always viewed 27 year olds as wise and older people with much experience of the world..but of course I was a teenager at that time...Now, being 44 years old, I look at just how young and very much child like a 27 year old really is...cause they are. Nevertheless, I've always been a Nirvana fan and the news of Kurt's death was devastating as a fellow musician and fan. R.i.p. Kurt Cobain.

    • @chateaupig826
      @chateaupig826 9 месяцев назад

      @jonnyfavors7585 that's subjective . There are very mature teenagers and 21 year Olds.
      Likewise , childish 27 year olds who don't want to quit partying .
      It really does depend on the person . You can't chuck them all in the same bag .
      As for Kurt , he searched for notoriety and when it arrived , he found it way too invasive .
      Couple that with a spiraling drug habit and ..
      Not sure it was his maturity that caused it , if that's what you mean

      According to very recent articles in mainstream media he apparently died of covid19.

    • @MarcAbela
      @MarcAbela 4 года назад +9

      @John Lowe Well to an increasingly important amount of people out there there seems to be a very big Huxley'ish/Orwell'ian social set of events which are currently at play, where more and more of the government measures seem to smell predominantly of police stating and punishment and fining the poor and the already homeless, with many creeped up measures where the powerful and the too rich i.e. the big banks and the politically well plugged seem to be untouched by the events at best - if not flat out receiving mind blowing subsidies. An increasing amount of people suggest the bankruptcy and suicides from the secondary effects of the police state measures implemented by clumsy politicians will dwarf (albeit never accounted for) the unfortunate layers of people who passed away by covid. Now where things get even creepier is that the US has been financing through its statist arm Medicare $13,000 for any hospital declaring new covid19 patients and $39,000 (free of any question) to any medical facility saying they might have placed a patient on ventilator. So a disturbingly big chunk of the numbers (according to many at least 50%) have been engineered into existence. So... Anyone who's ever listened to Kurt Cobain knows on which side of society he stood. It was on the courageous side - i.e. on the opposite of the state friendly boot-licking end. And trust me on one thing, he would have been singing about how obscene this world has become, and you and your comment would have probably provided for the inspiration for a good line of lyrics in one of his songs.
