When I was younger I loved this movie, as an adult the movie was not great. The musical numbers were the strongest part of the film and Naturi carried the film. I wish they didn’t give it a PG rating and done it like the original R rated film. They really tried to appeal to the “High School Musical” crowd, and it didn’t work. But I do love the music in it.

Inspirational and all that. I kinda wanna see a movie about failure though.
I remembered seeing this movie to give it a shot but NOPE doesn't have that special magic like the 1980 version. They made this version like trying to be the next High School Musical
