Hopefully winter fest is good this year, probably not as good as fortnitemares but I just personally like the Halloween theme better than the Christmas theme but they better bring back the cabin

One big issue with Fortnite is the lack of a complete set with skins, for example, Iron Man Mark 45, it has the skin, pickaxe, wrap, back bling, and instead of a glider, it gave us a guitar. Like who actually wants that. And why not just give us both
Fr man. The sneaking in of the instruments into bundles nowadays is crazy. It makes no sense for them to give a guitar or drums for skins that have no correlation with music 😂, but it’s expected at this point.
I honestly don’t care at all for freaky fields, it’s normally a very shit spot to drop, especially when there’s hardly any avenger chests in the area, Better off going for one of the other hotspots or boss areas
I only started playing last December when the Lego mode came out. I’ve been loving the game, I didn’t realize this was like “peak Fortnite time” since the game has been around awhile.
I collect Peely and Fishstick skins. I like the Peely Bone one for Halloween, but I also love the pirate version of regular Fishstick. That’s a go to of mine.
i miss the times where the smallest things get us excited, like the time they added boats and swimming, now fortnite is adding too many things, even the normal animations had changed, I WANT THE OLD ANIMATION BACK MAN
Even if they don’t brink back the Cabin. I bet it will still be a great Winterfest because of the LTMs, Quests and also various Decorations like they did with Fortnitemares.
The 2 problems I have with this Fortnitemars is they should make the wood stake shotgun and pumpkins launcher chest loot and not boss exclusive and they should have gave us marvel zombies and everything else with that this Fortnitemars is perfect

My method is to land at rebels roost, get a chainsaw and other loot, and go fight Mysterio (the chainsaw makes it easier). I pick up both the shotgun and the medallion (for that one achievement). Then, I wait for Dr.doom to die to storm and I go in (with like 3 med kits). I take the medallion and the gauntlets. Then, I head for Emma frost (died to storm or not) and I get the rifle and the medallion. With those weapons, I should be able to get a 10-elimination win that I need (I’m in the mythic medals). it’s crazy how uncontested the bosses are now!
I love when Fortnite actually fully embraces its current themes, especially the holidays like Halloween and Christmas. I've seen each year and watch them go down in quality but this year Fortnitemares feels like a breath of fresh air. I wasn't hopeful for a good Christmas event after last year but I am now. Wishing for the cabin and a map full of decorations on the houses, buildings, everywhere so it actually feels like Christmas in the map
It's been so refreshing to see them put a lot into a seasonal event. Wishing the same for winterfest man! We NEED the cabin back, snow, and many decorations just like fortnitemares did a good job of doing
Without a doubt this year's loot pool in Horde Rush makes it the easiest and most fun bay far; Marvel mythics DESTROY the horde: Shuri's Claws obliterates enemies, Iron Man's gauntlets can almost one-shot spawning cubes, Cap's shield is great for crowd control and helps you conserve ammo and finally Doom's Gauntlets can control groups and deal massive damage to spawning cubes. I hope everyone has a blast using them in this year's HR!
My only real issue with this event is when it started, I had crazy stutters outta nowhere. They mostly stopped but now I get my game crashing mid match or towards the very end of matches. I’m on a pretty high end system especially for Fortnite and it’s the only game this happens on. Not sure what they did with the optimisation
Sometimes I experience spikes of frame drops, and I have a beefy computer too with a 4080, so I 100% understand. It can be really annoying sometimes, but thankfully it only happens so often
Because it's fortnitemares and we want to enjoy the spooky season without an annoying fly spraying us while an auto turret is doing most of the dmg. Also it was a dirrect counter to most new items so it was really bringing down their utility
We’re also supposed to be getting a Gundam LTM in Fortnite around October 18th, to celebrate the debut of a Gundam show on Netflix, so it’s yet another thing added on top of an already pretty busy Halloween event.
Fr and it’ll last a total of 3 weeks in the end which is amazing. Gives us plenty of time to experience such a great event, but does suck it’ll have to end. At least we get Ch2 OG and then Chapter 6 after that with winterfest 🔥
It's good to see that there improving the holiday events. However, if my game keeps crashing after every single match then how am i supposed to enjoy these special events?
To be honest, I wish they would Sell event skins like polar peely, And only get it at the time of Christmas or Halloween event, depends on skin, this would be for V-Bucks, but some skins stay exclusive and maybe you could pick which event skin and you choose and of 3 so people can choose which should come back Christmas or Halloween depending skins on time of year
It sucks too because save the world is the most Halloween vibe game mode they have, and still a good amount of people play it. I was actually just playing it the other day with my friend and was enjoying it.

You should do a video on how the battle pass skins don’t have the level up styles anymore like how the pirate did and dire and like those, I get we have the super styles but they aren’t the same! 😕

The video is titled ‘what happened to unlockable styles’ im pretty sure lol, don’t quote me on that but it has drift in the thumbnail (stage 1 vs stage 5 drift). The video isn’t of such quality though because I made it when I was first starting out 😭 but I hope you still go on to enjoy it 🙏
For me, I feel like one thing that’s missing that would’ve been really fun and add another interesting weapon is the scythe since it will give you not only that scary vibe like the chainsaw does, but it would be fun to have melee battles. For me, I think they’ve only tapped on the potential of what melee could be. Now, if I had to say for something that doesn’t affect gameplay much maybe add one thing that I thought was kind of fun and an extra thing to worry about was the husk. If they could spawn in on the battle Royale map, that would be fun. It will make those small end zones even more chaotic and early fights very interesting
Especially since they added the scythe to reload, I don’t see why they couldn’t add it to BR. And yea the husks for sure would’ve really added to the feel and mix up the gameplay even more

Im ngl, if in the winterfest they brought back the map fully covered in snow like they did in chapter 1 (also 2 I think?) It would be fun, it was nice thing. But I'm not sure about that, because of the new chapter that wil come around that time, there's a low chance they'll do that because they want to show the new map normally
For sure. Kinda like how they did this Chapter with having a good chunk of the map snow and then showed how it would look afterwards on the train station boards around the map. But you're totally correct, as much as I'd love the map to be fully covered in snow, it just wouldn't be right to do that with a new map right off the rip.

Fortnitemares this season is good. I have an issue though: the quests. You can't do all the quests to get the rewards and then just focus on playing, you're capped to 2 stages when Epic decide you can progress. It was almost 2 on Day 1 after stages 1 and 2, now it's 3 days after completing stages 3 and 4. Why didn't you address this fact? It's such a letdown from Epic

Fortnitemares this season is good. I have an issue though: the quests.
You can't do all the quests to get the rewards and then just focus on playing, you're capped to 2 stages when Epic decide you can progress. It was almost 2 on Day 1 after stages 1 and 2, now it's 3 days after completing stages 3 and 4.
Why didn't you address this fact? It's such a letdown from Epic

Genuinely biggest problem is that you can't do all the quests at once. Why do i have to wait 3 days to get 2-3 items?

@@TheKidDrippy it's especially bad, since they have quests for 3 different modes, yet the xp requirement means doing any more than one of the modes is a waste of xp.
