- Ever wondered what a day in the life of an airline pilot looks like? Join me as I take you through my entire day, from the early morning alarm to winding down in the hotel, prepping for the next flight. Starting as a private pilot and climbing the ranks to become an airline pilot, I'll give you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the day-to-day operations, challenges, and rewards of flying a CRJ for a regional airline. With dreams of piloting the Boeing 777, every day is a step closer to the skies! Enjoy this glimpse into the pilot life, and if you find it insightful, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe to join me on this journey!
This is true airline pilot life, and maybe the next video I can post five days as an airline pilot if you would like me to post! Also check out the training videos on how to become an airline pilot from start to finish! The video goes over airline pilot training in depth. If you want to know how to become a pilot, check out Aeronerds Training video playlist.

This definitely takes the edge off while I wait for my class date.
@@talkssnakestodeath when is it?
@@AeroNerd December, but hopefully they expand the classes so I can get bumped up. Fingers crossed
great video Ty I like the shoe compass . outstanding tip literally !
@@Aerialphotovito lots like that one when I tell people about that. I also do that when waiting in long lines that don’t move. I’ll just take off one of my shoes in the line and go sit down, then when the line moves, I’ll get back up, move my shoe, sit back down. Repeat as necessary 😬

That shoe 👞 trick is ingenious lol
@@solarpoweredafricanvegansp178 thanks 😁
I watch one of your other videos about what to expect in the airlines and this one was great too, just passed my commercial flight and starting on multi engine rating and I was wondering what regional are you flying for. It kinda looks like envoy or skywest? What is hard to get hired?
Don't 4get to check the mattress for bedbugs lol

Good video,
Im about to start my private pilot certificate training coming up in December. My end goal is to me an airline pilot. Do you have any suggestions or tips for a newbie?
@@bsdontop1000 I have lots of videos to answer your question! Checkout the AeroNerd Flight Training playlist. There are SO many videos such as where to start, best tips on getting started, etc..
Wait….. are you the guy who taught me DVMONA back in the day
@@ibiro868 probably lol!! 😆
Is that an ERJ you’re flying?
Close! It’s a CRJ
3:06
Do you mind elaborating a little more on this part lol?
Is it an 8 hour wait every time or did you just throw that number?
Are you really required to stay in there?
Great question! Check out my Airline Pilot Reserves video which answers this in detail. Depending on which airline you join, minimum HOT reserve time (meaning sitting at the airport on stand-by) is 8 hours for most airlines. You may get called within the 8 hours which is what we always hope for, but if you don’t get called, you literally sit there for 8 hours at the airport. You can spend that time in the crew room, explore the airport, go to the USO if you are military, watch Netflix… whatever you can do to new you occupied until you get called in, or your HOT reserve time expires and you go home, or back to your crash pad/hotel room.
@@AeroNerd thanks for the info!
Will check out that vid for more details!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂that's funny
