FMA dub is one of those rare ocasion where its good. Like almost exactly like original.
To clarify some confusion. There is no electricity involved. Those lightning like effects are just visual effects of transmutation.
It's only good. It's nowhere close to the original. I say that as neither a native speaker of English nor Japanese. I much prefer the Japanese voice over.

Yeah I'm not understanding the dislike for the dub on this one. Are the actors emoting wrong? Putting weird emphasis on things? Did the translators obliterate the meaning? No, not that I've been able to discern. This is one of the good ones.
Maybe my standards are too low. I remember times when "anime english dub" meant completely random inflections on line reads, or painting out all the guns so the viewers' parents don't call in to complain, or stitching together 3 unrelated japanese properties into a semi-coherent english-original plotline topped off with a flock of seagulls soundtrack, I guess anything would seem good after that.

Oh wow. We're diving into the show recently unseated by Frieren from the #1 rating on most sites. Kinda insane to think about. I grew up on the original FMA during the late night Adult Swim anime hours in High School. Loved it but when Brotherhood came out my socks were knocked cleanly off. One of the very few shows where the dub is actually really good and I can still hear their VA voices even while watching SUB. Hope you guys enjoy it! The shows quality holds up till this day.
Day 100 of telling the Brothers Yeo that I love their content!! 🔥🎉💙 And let's gooooooo!! FMAB!! I absolutely love this show to death!! I screamed "YES" in my College's cafeteria when you guys said you were watching Dub! And although you're switching to Sub I'll enjoy the brief moments we get of you guys watching the Dub. Personally I think anyone who has the opinion that the Dub for this show is trash should just go f**k themselves. Don't trash talk this shows English voice actors just because it's not "japanese" so there for it's bad. The English cast did an amazing job. If you don't want to watch a reaction with Dub, it's simple, don't wine and complain, just go watch someone else. Apologies for the rant and language, I just can't stand people who disrespect the English casts amazing work on this show. Anyways can't wait to watch this show with you guys! So excited 😆

The auhtor of FMA, Arakawa Hiromu, is one hell opf a woman.
Born and raised on a farm up in the north, dealt with all the hard labor dealing with livestock all her life, instilled tons of life lessons that are distilled within her stories.
Also someone who really appreciates both busty men and women.
Awesome, been waiting for this one. One of my favorites, hope you guys like it too.

There’s actually no way people are hating on the dubbed version of FMAB. It’s probably one of the only shows where the dub is easily as good as the sub.
I argue that black lagoon has a fantastic dub that might just be better then fmab it’s so good that nobody even argues about which version is better, It is always the dub that people choose. death note also has a pretty good dub and KonoSuba as well.
One of the few dubs that are mandatory. You're going to love it.

Brotherhood skips a LOT of early content that will make later parts of brotherhood weird because characters pop up and you have no idea who they are. There should be someone who's done some sort of watchlist that links it to the original one. I think the original starts off way better too.
The only character that happens with is yoki, who gets explained in episode 4 anyway, I think u just forgot. Other than that there are literally no characters in the show that pop up later as if we should already know them from earlier on.
Characters are properly explained. However, you lose some early world building and mood setting. The series is long enough that it becomes a minor nuisance.
@@ShiroKage009yeah the mood of the 2003 version was definitely superior, especially at the start.
The FMAB start is clearly way more bad than its 2003 counter part, but that's probably because the team didn't want to "waste" time on stories that were already adapted and seen by fan.
It's a shame, because nowadays, everyone only talk about FMAB (I don't know why the 2003 version is so hated as I like it very much, with an interesting take on the story), and only knowing this one make people experiencing a weaker start.
I also suggest to friend who want and experience close to the manga that they watch around 25 episode of the 2003 version, before switching to around episode 13 of the Brotherhood version.
@@o0ugi860 I think there is also the butcher guy whose arrestation was not told in this version. It was great that what seemed to be a filler (and probably was) ended up being useful later on.
Well you will get views and likes for these first 2 uploads and then nothing. I have 3 anime that are dub only and this is one of them, this and Bebop are dub only because not only are the English VA's just better but lore wise for their fictional worlds western languages are a better fit.
