I was 10 yrs old but was familiar with JL because one of my older sisters Mimi was crazy about The Beatles and played all their music in our home EVERYDAY. I remember that day vividly. Andrea Friedman played Chris's girlfriend in a very memorable episode of Family Guy. It was an unusual portrayal because her character had a vicious mean streak, and she apparently enjoyed playing a character like that.
She said she had a sense of humor, and just because she was so called disabled, which she was not really, she had a job she could drive, take care of herself... she said her parents gave her a sense of humor.
My condolences to the Lear family. I have a great memory invoving him. Howard Stern invited him on his show once in the early 90s. He was so impressed by Lear's wealth he continuosly referred to him as "dad', and he'd be his whore anytime!! Love Norman's array of shows because he did something for everyone.What amazed me about him is he worked till the end, and he was just as mentally intact as ever. I wish his wife or kids would write a book about his good health secrets.
