Border's are the best breed ever! They love people and lots of fun. They're adorable, especially when they look at you with those eyes. They are like pools. I have 2. 😀.
Apsolutely wonderful, it made me cry. We had a rescue border terrier fir 15 years, Gypsy,she brought us so much joy, we still miss her, but we now have a norfolk terrier, who is gorgeous, but Gypsy will always have a special place in our hearts.❤
We lost our 11yr old Reggie last Sunday. Border videos help loads but I’m still broken. Who knew such a small pain in the ass dog could leave such a devastating hole in our lives. 😢

I still think about my boy every day and occasionally get upset but I know he had a great life with us and there wasn’t a day in his life he wasn’t excited to begin with, pissing us off! I forced my family to get another dog which helped me loads. It’s the silence in the house that hurt me the most. I dreaded going home without my best pal there to greet me. I now have a new best pal. Not a replacement, reg will always be my bast pal, just a different, equally awesome one. Hope it gets better for you and from me at least, it’s never just a dog. ❤️
I just adopted a border terrier mix. Imagine a BT, but with ears that point up. He was literally on his last day at the shelter when I got him. I had my regrets at first, as he bullies my senior dog. But he's grown on me so much the past month of. Living with me

I got very emotional watching this. I have a 6 year old BT named Roxie. She has been such a wonderful companion. We bought a male named Buddy about 2 years ago. They are now such great friends. Buddy depends on Roxie and really looks up to her. BT’s are wonderful dogs. Thanks for that!

This is a beautiful video. I love borders. we just lost our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel at the age of 9 and are torn about getting another Cav or one of these beauties. There is no greater love or friendship than the one between a dog and it's owner.

I have an Aussie Terrier that tried to attack the trainer when I started agility. We persevered and she learned to love the trainer and love the agility and not be aggressive around other dogs. The trainer later said she was very pleased, as a lot of people would have given up on her.

Our border was a rescue. The "shelter" we got him from was awful, the owners were done for maltreatment of animals. He was just under 2, first owner was house-bound so he was never socialised. The second owner gave up on him and left him tied to a post. We soon found out that he would never be good with other animals. Three behaviourists have told us the only way to "cure" him was euthanasia. He is still with us, now nearly 12. We just have to keep him on a lead when he's out and he still tries to attack other dogs. Fantastic with people, great with kids - he seeks out their company. We should have realised what his behaviour was like - the shelter had called him Scrappy. And scrap he does!
