I just bought a 2008 Impreza hatchback with the head gaskets replaced & a valve job, also new tires & brakes. Runs great for a 14 yo car with 138,000 miles. It corners like a train on tracks.
Hey do you know how much that head gasket replacement was? I've been looking into one that appeared on the used market recently and the car is in phenomenal condition with its main flaws being all 4 tyres are gone which makes me believe it's either recently been driven hard or the owner just didn't have money to replace and ditched the car.
@@alex.104 Sorry. I do not know how much a head gasket replacement is. It was included in the price that I paid, which I thought was fair considering the economy.
@@commandermeow6790 oh okay that's cool, yea I had my eye on a wrx model here that's going for around $6000. It's got about the same miles as yours when you got it and the fault reports is pretty much just 4 really worn out and bubbled up tyres. But it's probably too risky to get.
The only thing I hate about my 2010 STI in the snow is that it's very prone to understeer/push. It's probably exacerbated for me by having 18", 245mm wide snow tires but with the engine entirely ahead of the front axle centerline this chassis is always going to do this.
These hatchbacks are amazing and fun to drive , i used to have a 2008 with a manual transmission
