GTX 1650 Key Points - Lower Average FPS Offers lower overall performance in terms of raw frame rates compared to the RX 6500 XT. - GTX 1650 benefits from a wider memory bus (128-bit) and PCIe 3.0 x16 lanes, which help maintain consistent performance even in bandwidth intensive scenarios. Suitable for older or PCIe 3.0 systems without performance drops. - Superior VRAM Management While it only has 4GB of VRAM like the RX 6500 XT, its efficient memory management minimizes stuttering or sudden frame drops in games. - NVENC Encoder: Equipped with NVENC encoder, making it excellent for streaming, recording, or video editing. It supports both encoding and decoding, a huge plus for content creators. - Better drivers ----------------------------- RX 6500 XT Key Points - Higher Average FPS Provides higher raw performance - Best suited for PCIe 4.0 systems due to its higher clock speeds and architectural efficiency. - Lower Stability Performance consistency takes a hit in PCIe 3.0 systems due to its limited PCIe 4.0 x4 lanes, resulting in bandwidth bottlenecks. Games with large texture streaming demands can struggle, especially on systems with slower storage. That can happen with PCIe 4.0 too because the GPU has only x4 lanes with make the GPU generally unstable, but still the best performance from 6500 XT you can get from PCIe 4.0. - Poor VRAM Management Its 4GB VRAM is often stretched thin in modern titles, and the lack of advanced memory compression or efficient allocation can lead to stuttering in demanding scenarios. - No Hardware Encoder Lacks a dedicated encoder, making it no suitable for streaming or video production tasks. - Worse drivers
Then GTX 1650 is the most stable option for you. Do u have maybe other options? Because of VRAM, both GPUs are 4GB of VRAM and that’s not really a great in 2024.
The AMD Radeon RX 6400 is an entry-level graphics card based on the RDNA 2 architecture. It is positioned as a budget option and typically offers modest performance suitable for less demanding gaming and general computing tasks. Here are some key points about the RX 6400: ### Performance - **Gaming**: The RX 6400 can run many modern games at 1080p resolution, but with settings often adjusted to medium or low to achieve smooth frame rates. It's well-suited for less demanding titles and esports games like "League of Legends," "CS: GO," and "Fortnite." - **VRAM**: It usually comes with 4GB of GDDR6 memory, which is sufficient for many current games but can be a limitation for more demanding titles or future games requiring more memory. - **Power Efficiency**: The RX 6400 is designed to be power-efficient and doesn't require additional power connectors, making it a good option for small form factor builds and systems with limited power supply capacity. ### Use Cases - **Casual Gaming**: Suitable for gamers who play less graphically intensive games or are okay with lower settings in more demanding games. - **Multimedia**: Great for video playback, streaming, and general multimedia use. - **Productivity**: Adequate for everyday tasks and light productivity workloads. ### Comparison - **Higher-End Alternatives**: If you want to play more demanding games at higher settings or resolutions, consider higher-tier cards like the RX 6600 or RX 6700 series, or Nvidia's GTX 1660 Super or RTX 3060. - **Price-to-Performance**: The RX 6400 offers good value for its price but is clearly outpaced by more expensive GPUs. In summary, the RX 6400 is a decent entry-level graphics card for casual gamers and users with light gaming needs. It can run games, but adjustments to settings are often necessary to maintain playable frame rates in more demanding titles.
@@Joshy_Poo with right CPU, Rx6400 is good. Plus buddy, i have a Rx6400 and it cannot play New games like: COD MW3, warzone, once human, or other newer games, it's a low-profile GPU, and not made for gaming, if you have a good CPU you WILL get aroundb 50-60 FPS, but New games won't work, like i said, plus it can't run Cs2 if you wantef to play that game, ( you get with low settings-> 27-30 FPS ) YE I TESTED AND IT CAN'T RUN NEW GAMES, you can play like CSGO ( cs_legacy ) but you can't play those like: ragnarök, MW3, Battlefield 2042 ( you can play with 2042 but with the most lowest settings, ) CP2077 is only running like 30-40 sometimes. But if you accept that you can only play with low settings for new games, then it's ok, but if you want high settings then don't buy it. It wasn't made for gaming
@@Kekszes Uhh, you can play a lot of those games perfectly fine on a RX 6400. I have a GTX 1650 ti (laptop gpu) which is pretty close in performance to your gpu and it runs modern games perfectly fine, with the exception of only a few, and those are ones that have come out recently with very poor optimization. A lot of the games you mention here rely a lot on your cpu like CS2 and I think the reason you're getting terrible performance in them is because of your cpu and ram too. I looked up two benchmarks for CS2 on the RX 6400 with an i5-10400 and the other one was an i5-11400 and it was consistently getting in the range of 150-200fps on 1080p low settings. As for games that are more gpu intensive like basically every non-competitive title, the cpu and ram shouldn't be AS much of an issue and as long as you're fine with like a maximum framerate of 60fps for the great majority of games released within the past few years, you'll be fine. It's not like you're limited to low settings in a lot of games either, as long as you're fine with getting into like the 50s and 40s, MAYBE the 30s, you can play on higher graphics settings. This doesn't even take into account frame generation too, upscaling exists too but normally people use that by default nowadays so that's why I didn't really mention it. Some games even go as far as to go above those metrics like Farcry 6, Hitman 3, Forza Horizon 5, etc, great examples of very well optimized games. Am I recommending to buy it now if you don't already have one? No, there are plenty better cards to buy for a better price, even if you're looking for more budget cards that are like the RX 6400. The only time I can imagine someone buying it is if they find a good deal for one and are coming from a pretty bad pc but want something pretty budget.

Great card for old games! ❤️
I almost started crying with my 4yo laptop 1650 when I saw fps in rdr2 (I achieved these fps 2 / 2.5 years ago and now its 17-20)
Lossless scaling will be your saviour 😌🔥
ma dude yo 1650 is not ok shi is broooken
You need to repaste your gpu and cpu with thermal compound, it has probably hardened up and can't cool properly
That screen tearing is crazy😮
Thats normal especially bcs I used capture card.
do you have gtx 1650 ddr5 on this benchmark? excelent video
No, ddr6 as he said in the video.

@edwardbenchmarks thanks a lot man, from these two, is it safer to pick 1650 in general? My budget is limited and I can't risk used GPUs rn
