    thanks for the vid. love the idea of using a perc loop rhythm to inspire a bassline. Def doing that. i really dont get why some still use the ghost note trigger method for sidechaining tho. just extra work when theres vst's for it. Kickstart 2 is really good and its cheap! Duck Buddy by Slynk is also really good and flexible but only really for midi.

      I’ve come to find that using the stock plugins creates a better side chain for my music then 3rd party vst, but that’s just my opinion. Doesn’t knock other vsts

      @@originallegna yeah some can be good. I find ableton compressors generally have a tick noise when sidechaining so I avoid. The two I mentioned are very transparent. Slynk does a great vid comparing common sc devices

    So strange for some reason if i Open serum and start designing the harmonic series bass the exact same way you start it at the @8:05 mark it sounds completely different
