I’ve just started following this channel as I am currently visiting Japan. I have just started my collection and came across this channel when figuring out what Ichiban Kuji meant (after purchasing the First Form Frieza that came out last year). Thanks to this video review about an hour ago I went out to the shop around the corner from my hotel and just won this Cell. A massive thank you for giving me the motivation to go out and win this amazing prize!! It looks so much better in person.
I’m running out of room in my suitcase but I’m tempted by a second hand King Cold that I saw. I was looking for 2nd/ 3rd Form Frieza or 1st or 2nd Form Cell too. I bought a limited edition SH figure Super Saiyan Goku from the Tamashi Nations Store and the Ichiban Dodoria (to go with the Frieza). I may try my luck again in another lottery but any recommendations of what to get next will be greatly appreciated! The problem is I live near London in the UK and there are very few shops there so I have mainly stuck with GX Materia items that are available (my first item was the Vegeta from the Saiyan Saga from that range).

Wow this Cell is absolute perfection! The sculpt looks amazing and the colors are so vibrant. Also I noticed during your comparison they changed the spots on his body and his head too!
I just found this Cell today and it's awesome! Sadly, his right leg has some scratches that are faintly noticeable. Brand new out of box too. I guess I can look at it as a kind of misprint lol. Still love this figure! Thank you for your amazing videos by the way!

Got this pre-ordered and ordered Buff Cell! I was watching a vid about how the new cell would drop the previous cell prices to about how much and it turned out pretty accurate. So 2 reasons to have been excited for this fig😂 also something I never noticed was that at least in japanese this is technically a different form? The previous one was cell "complete form" and this one is perfect cell. Maybe they also make the distinction in english, but i never noticed it

I have both versions (one is Perfect and the other is Super Perfect). Cell doesn't get a lot of figures, so I think it's always good to buy more Cell figures.
I just found this at a local guy with a gold sticker for dirt cheap. I haven't bought any DB related figure in the last 2 years, but I couldn't let this go, it is so "Perfect". So happy!

what if instead of knocking off sculpt quality you just made another category for reusing assets. Because the quality of the sculpt is amazing but it is reused so they seem like 2 different category’s

I don’t like the idea of releasing basically same figure. I feel like it’s takeing away from the original . I would 100% buy the new one over the old one. Cheaper and looks better .
Well to be fair - the old one goes for an average of $95 (if you're lucky). Being a highly demanded and popular character can possibly excuse that. But that's just me. It gives those new to the hobby or missed out a better price and chance!

Like if they released another fat buu way cheaper I’d be annoyed because I already payed a bunch. I no with these figures in particular collectors don’t mind having multiple similar figures .
I bought it few days ago..still waiting for it. Its kinda cheap $68 dollars This cell for super perfect cell And the solid edge work cell for normal perfect cell Since, i really dont want to spend $70 for the same character twice
@@valdodgo well, i hardly buy ichiban figures. I only buy them when i think they are unique (goku with umbrella, vegeta with the casual clothes) or when their versión is far superior for me. For example gohan saiyaman ss2 vs clearise ssj2 saiyaman gohan. So spending once every 2 months for ichiban isnt that much

(Not all figures are released in ichibansho) Ichiban kuji is just the figures but only in japan. For example is like going to stripes to buy tickets for the chance to win the figure. There is no QC. If you get a perfect kuji, you are very lucky! The back of the head on my Cell is perfect but the other details on the front of the head could be better. Matt's Cell has a little dot on the forehead and back of the head. The black around the eye's are also slopy painted. That seems normal. Painting on my Cell is also slopy around the eye's.

I didn't realize it was in Japanese too! In America he's either called "Super Perfect" or "Perfect Cell" (instead of Cell - Perfect Form)

I think this is definitely better than the one from Omnibus Super. But that set was too good. 3 figures from Super, 3 from GT, and 3 from Z.

No, Grandista figures are too big to scale with most Masterlise figures.
yeah Grandista works with some of these oversized villains. my shelf video is Grandista & Ichiban mixed.
