Fun fact- I used to think this song was about a young woman running along the coast in awe of the beauty of the ocean and expressing joy by running into the waves.
....and then I found out it was about Bonnie Prince Charlie running away from a political mess and boy did I feel jilted.
Being a big fan of the Outlander series I'm very familiar with this song. Your version is right in there with the versions used on the TV series. Just hauntingly beautiful. Seems all of your work is.

Written by Robeert Louis Stevenson, so it actually predates the version that's more familiar (Speed, bonny boat...).
Written from a man's perspective, obviously, but Bear McCreary knew the song, and thought that it was perfect for Claire.
