Agree on the in-use light! We had some unidentified wiring that was popping out of the wall connected to the bathroom light switch. And yep, now there is a vintage "on air" sign lighting up and preventing some awkward walk-ins 😅.
I'm an artist/graphic designer that works from home on tuesdays so I love taking my lunch with tuesday uploads!!! I cracked up a little at Kelsey's "it has real paint on it" comment about the tv easel, I never think of the paint speckles that drip as beautiful, just something that gets messy. It's nice to reframe those little bits of like evidence of the craft into something beautiful and worth treasuring.
What the heck I am also an artist/graphic designer and I had the same thought LOL! I remember working with that exact easel in school and how messy I was with it. I never thought someone would think that mess was beautiful
I think the bathroom is still my favorite space in the loft. It’s so inspirational! What an upgrade, and now it feels so luxurious, like a high end restaurant bathroom.
I love how you ladies made the spaces comfortable and viby, while also keeping functionality in mind! I'm not someone who's good at interior design, but watching your videos has helped me so much. I also love that despite all the trends, you guys always stay true to yourselves.
The place looks great. A little side story: I got some small glass bricks from a secondhand store, and I’m using them as spacers in my wildflower garden. The only thing was the bricks came with a bit of cement on them, so I’ve been slowly chiseling it off. And while I was doing it, I kept repeating ‘Sorry Girls, give me strength!’
I love the filing cabinet wall! I think it’s perfect it that space. Many years ago on HGTV, they did the same thing with Chinese trunks. It looked amazing. I’ve never forgotten it. I love all the new updates. There is such a cohesiveness now throughout. Donna
Oh the nostalgia! I remember I first found you guys when you were moving from the OG office to the loft, that was then Kelsey’s home. We saw that loft grow into so so many spaces, the rose screwdriver wall and the podcasts were some of my favorite. Also saw you guys move into this space, planning how you want to use this space. Hi, thank you so much! 🥰 we love miniatures but in terms of the 'off the road' mini we disassembled this pretty soon after the video was posted! There was concern about if this would be safe in the long run and out of an abundance of caution we removed it! ❤️
I've been here for 12 years, since DIY T-shirts, and this is may be my first comment, almost never missed a video. What you've accomplished is amazing. I enjoyed watching your first videos although I was critical and didn't appreciate the results/quality that much. That goes to show that a little goes a long way, it's better to get things done than be afraid of doing something wrong/bad. It's ok to expose yourself and continue although you may see mistakes. As a designer suffering from insecurities, that stop me from my glow up, you are a great example to look up to.
I remember when you introduced the space. It has been so fun to watch the journey and all of the transformations! Can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us.

I like how you painted the moody room space that green because it tones down the office space for multiple people. I do think the locker wall still needs to be painted, but understand the vision. The office is so aesthetically pleasing.
As a young girl my family moved into a 1920’s rental full brick house and a old deaf woman lived there once upon a time So when somebody rang the door bell the light would turn on flashing until the door bell stopped ringing and when the phone rang she had a vibrating noise coming from the walls she would feel her way to the phone she had hanging on the wall So we just got had the light loosened and the wall vibrations stopped over the years as our rental owner told us about its history Wow 😮 Your place is looking amazing btw Watching from Sydney,AU❤👍🏼🇦🇺

I think you guys should paint the wall behind the blue fireplace. Some orange or browish coppery colour? The locker wall system is still my favourite though. It's most unique thing in your office.
I'd forgotten about the plant tiny house... xD But it comforts me in my goal of building a whole little witchy fairy/gnome village in my Christmas tree this year! I wanted to find some Xmas village and repaint it, but the more I think about it, the more I think recycled cardboard, paint and maybe some sticks and stones for texture will be lighter than ceramics, and easier to make as "ornaments"?! I'm also planning on making little garden platforms with clay mushrooms and gnomes, and connect it all with little ladders and bridges made from popsicle sticks?! xD Pop some moss here and there, have little decks off the tiny houses with tiny Xmas trees and wreaths on them, and one gnome "escaping the tree" through a little faux zipline maybe?! Too many ideas.. lol
