  • On October 3, 2011 at Convocation, North America's largest weekly gathering of Christian students, Phil Vischer, creator of Veggie Tales, spoke on how God worked in his life and career through his experiences of success, fame, and failure. He asked students when a dream dies, what is more important: God or the dream, and "What happens when, without warning, your dream is taken away from you?"

    "God is enough."
"The impact that God has planned for you does not occur when we are pursuing impact, no, it occurs when we are pursuing God."
Every leader needs to hear this message.

I remember finding myself in a state of intense depression one night because something that I'd been hoping would happen for a very long time died just as it looked like it was about to come to fruition. The next morning, God sent this guy to Liberty to say exactly what I needed to hear. God is amazing, and being content with Him is truly the only way to be happy in life, because when you are, you find that He really is the only thing you need.
