Hi Caroline, it’s Tracey here we have chatted on instagram. Loved this vlog and really feel that anyone who takes the time to leave you negative comments have nothing better to do at all. Your husband always comes across as a really nice person and I’d definitely feel protective over my loved ones too if I was doing anything like this. I think personally if you haven’t got anything nice to say then say nothing. Love your vlogs so keep being the lovely person you are. Xx

Oh my goodness, I'm so glad you said this, as when I was answering this question, in the back of my mind was 'I'm sure there's another video that's a favourite and I can't remember it'. I puzzled over it again when I was editing the video. You're right, that was my absolute favourite video I ever made. It still brings a tear to my eye when I watch it!

Used to enjoy her channel but someone told her about Tattle and after she read it she took down the channel.

Just caught up with this. Caroline, I have been watching your channel for a while now. You are a fab person, and you have a wonderful family to be proud of. Ashley seems such a cracking chap and you obviously have an enviable marriage. I don't blame you for protecting them from the tiny, tiny little people with tiny, tiny little lives who make it their business to spread negativity, probably to make them feel less inadequate in some way. Caroline I love your fashion hauls. It’s very rare there’s anything I don’t like ❤. Starting a channel. Omg. I’d probably be public enemy number one. My mouth would run away with me A few choice words here and there would get me hung so that’s a big no no. Plus I go under the table if there’s a camera in sight Then there’s Ashley. I don’t blame you for protecting him. Some people are so vicious for no reason other than the fact is they are Aholes. There I did tell you Can’t help it. What I’ve seen of Ashley he’s a lovely bloke with a sense of humour which to me if you can’t have a good laugh you may as well curl up and cast off this mortal coil Sorry I’ve rambled on BUT. Don’t blame you for sizing down on cars. We toured southern England two weeks ago. The car rental company gave me an upgrade to a Hyundai Tucson. Quite a challenge on the narrow lanes! Love Devon. I’m 🇬🇧 and live in 🇨🇦. Always come to England to enjoy early Spring.

Good morning! I am listening to this at 6:30 am my time, while drinking my coffee and getting ready to log in for work. I don't usually watch Q&A videos on RUclips but I enjoyed this one very much. You are definitely one of my favorite RUclipsrs. I completely understand your desire to protect your lovely family and I am so sorry that some people can be so hateful (and for no other reason than the fact they can be ugly and venomous hiding behind a keyboard! They contribute nothing.) I also follow Marnie 😊 We live in the same city. I am glad you don't let those negative and mean people hold you back. Your videos are very entertaining. I love your blogs and travel videos.
An interesting video - Car parking spaces are the same size as ever (& a pretty standard size) but ALL cars have got bigger to fit in all the safety features (air bags, side impact bars, etc) meaning cars are wider and longer. So the spaces are not as roomy 🚘
Caroline, you really need more girl trips in your life, lol. I love my family & all that we do together, we are a close knit family. BUT twice a year, me & 3 of my bffs from high school (51 years ago this week), we meet up for a long weekend. We laugh, enjoy remembering growing up, share our family news, etc. By the time I get home, I'm relaxed & ready to take on the family & all that goes with it & them. Sometimes you need that break. My mother passed away in July 2023. My family was with me & did what love ones do, but those 3 high school friends helped in ways that family couldn't, there are some things that only a dear friend can do. Treasure your friends like family. These 3 ladies are my life support as well as my family is.
I tend to buy seasalt and designer but my best coat was from Asda and ten pounds, I was shocked! You sound like my sister, she is the same with furniture, only keeps two years whereas me, I have lounge units etc expensive, 30 years old so we both justify our spending to each other 😊

Re: selling on ebay. I do it in a small way, often my own clothes. I love wooden jigsaws which I buy , complete then resell. Recently a buyer contacted me, with a photo, to say the jigsaw I sold was incomplete and wanted a refund. To me the photo meant nothing . I wouldn't have done that as of course one would be found out. I did refund but asked for the jigsaw back as wouldn't leave it ,my suspicious mind not fancying seeing it for sale again, complete. So, I had to pay postage both ways. This has left a bad taste in my mouth. What would you have done Caroline?

Unfortunately, selling on eBay is sort of like RUclips - there is always going to be the odd bad apple amongst the majority of good people. Thankfully these people are few and far between, and it's best just to put the bad ones behind you and move on. Not always easy to do, I know, and I sometimes wish I was better at taking my own advice on that!

Yes definitely parking spaces are small. Also roads are narrower. I can get in the parking space but opening the doors is very hard. As I get older my enjoyment in driving just anywhere is filled with trepidation.
Your channel is so enjoyable to watch because you are so genuine and you take us viewers on your life journey, even if it’s just a trip to the supermarket , a rant or a bit of comedy with Ashley or your friend, Carla. Enjoy learning about how British living differs from us Americans., too. Best to you and your family.

Another great video and so interesting. As a person that is not so technical I would love it if you did a video on how to set up and sell on e bay. I have so much I could sell but absolutely would not know where to start. I know there are probably other u tube videos but you seem to explain things in simple terms. Looking forward to part 2 x
I've been asked for ebay 'how to videos' many times over the years. Unfortunately I've been doing it for so long that I don't think I'd be very good at producing a 'how to start from scratch' tutorial.

I love your channel, Caroline. You're a natural; watching and listening to you is effortless, and your content is consistently engaging. I cannot understand why anyone would want to say unkind things in the comments as you are so inoffensive, carry on just being you.
Not that I would mind, but if I had to cello anything the largest would be a snail. No teeth, hard shell and the worst consequence would be slime. Delightful video! Very interesting yes I saw your parent tag years ago and understand why you took them off now thank you for your great advice I love make up videos too .Like you I get bored with clothes quickly and think that you can find good clothes anywhere, the important thing is good taste not money there are many very rich people who have terrible taste and others who dont have much money but dress well ( I am the second) I love secondhand markets etc.

I enjoyed your questions and answers. Isn't it so sad that some people sit behind a computer and are just so rude and negative and spoil things for everyone? Its easy to say oh just delete them and don't bother but it is hard to forget something once you have seen it.

Hi Caroline. Re your eBay side of things. I used to do eBay in Texas and that is where I first came across your vlogs probably via Texas Gal Treasures and other American RUclipsrs. We then moved back to UK to retire and I’ve been intending to do it on a casual part time basis because I did enjoy it. Sadly not yet got around to it but still intend to. But I understand why you wouldn’t give it up because it is fun and a good way to make a bit of extra cash with stuff you no longer need. I was always amazed at what sold.
Texas Gal Treasures - haven’t heard that name for a while, must go and check out if she’s still around. I loved Margaret’s videos!

No, they are too big to fit in a Prosecco glass, but they are great for longer drinks

You are Carla are my favourite RUclipsrs who I watch regularly as you are both down to earth and produce content I like to watch. Parking spaces definitely seem smaller to me , always worry in a supermarket car park that someone will of park too close to me & I won’t be able to get in my car😂😂

Saw your parents' video and the cooking with Ashley ones, and I loved both. I agree with you about Louise Pentland. I always watched religiously and loved her fashion and beauty vlogs, but I'm afraid I have no interest in mommy or Disney. Being over 50, it's not my vibe, so unsubscribed over a year ago.
