Sounds like you had an amazing trip. How much weight did you lose on the trip?
Did you plan where you slept in advance?

Thanks, I trained for eleven months before the pilgrimage and lost 45 pounds. I lost another 15 during the pilgrimage. And... I never booked anything in advance :) But I generally planned to make it to a particular town every day, distance depending on weather, terrain and how my body felt. I just went as the pilgrimage lead me .

I bought package of bentonite north mountain supply brand. They say add 1-2 teaspoons to a half cup of boiling water to make a slurry, while others say 1-2 grams of clay to 1 oz of warm water. So what is the right way? And also do I need to take a hydrometer measure before I add the clay? I added the 1-2 teaspoon mixture to one gallon.

There can be differences in bentonite. Go with the instructions that comes with whichever you buy. That''s the safest way.
