Oh man, you've still got so far to go crushing on Kevin. Wait until you get to his KOver of "Down" (that's what we usually start people on for him lol). The things that man can do with a couple instruments and a looper shouldn't be humanly possible.
I am gobsmacked. The things that man can do... cello, sax, sing, piano, beatbox, write/arrange music... and he finished a pre-med degree!!! I mean, he played Beyoncé like a flippin guitar!! (That's his cello's name, in case you didn't know.) I have never seen that done before! I played the violin from 6th grade until I was in my late 20's, and I had the opportunity to play around with a cello at my church. It's my favorite instrument to listen to, also! Something about the deep richness of the sound as it reverberates through the wood. I only figured out scales, nothing fancy, but it was so cool!
Lol, I share your sentiment Jennifer, there aren’t to many things I wouldn’t give to play the cello at this level. His talent well does not have a bottom, just crazy, thanks for everything!
I absolutely adore this KO original. 💙💙💙💙 Yes, it's ethereal and haunting, but there's also something sensual to it. I can picture a couple ballroom dancing to this. Maybe a tango. It's a gorgeous composition. Kevin is crazy amazing.
🤣🤣😂😂. You needed to pick-up your jaw and eyes. I think they popped out of your head in amazement. 🥰. Admittedly, I had to do the same lol. Thank you again for another great reaction. They are just as awesome live as they are in their videos and albums. I would highly recommend you go and take Mrs. Rock Solid with you 😊
Oh hon! You ain't seen nothin yet! This is a great start and please check out Down, Sign of the Times, and others. It just gets better and better! Love your reaction and it was amazing getting to see your lovely wife. You two look like you were made for each other!! You both warmed my heart :)
Great reaction. Great KO videos I recommend - Down, Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood, Sam Smith looping Kover, Bach Suite 1, Julie-O, Human Nature, and True Colors (all singing)
Kevin is amazing!!!! Did anyone mention that he also speaks Chinese fluently also? If the cello is your favorite instrument you should check out "The 2Cellos". They are two classically trained cellists who venture into rock and contemporary pieces. Try Eye of the Tiger or =The Troupers Overture or Highway to Hell also Mombassa. They will blow you away! Thanks for the great reactions!
And I would suggest Wake Me Up/Aviici. So cute and funny. But so are many of their pieces. Or if you don't want cute and funny, try Hurt or Shindler's List theme.
I think the opening of Renegade really gives away Kevins classical training in music. I love the way he sees no boundaries in what can/can't, should/shouldn't, just his own musical instincts make the best music. Your hesitance to pause, your eyes rolling back and your jaw dropping: we feel ya, LOL! I hope Mrs RSR got to watch it too after you ;-) I hope the chiropractor could help a little on your way to healing your back :(
It is indeed hauntingly beautiful as I commented when I requested this before Christmas. Even more stunning when you know it's his own composition. As you said, our Kevin has the talent of three musicians, and then some. Your reaction was, as I suspected, perfect - thank you :)
Seeing this reaction today and I believe this was near Salton Sea in the Mojave desert of California or maybe Joshua Tree national park also here in So Cal
Ethereal is the perfect word. I could see that being sung during an establishing shot in a movie, sung as a camera moves over the desert. Or over a romantic portion of a movie... Wait until you check out more of KO, Down, Sign Of The Times, True Colors and more. You will enjoy each and everyone.
My mom plays violin quite well and she always talked about certain techniques that were absurdly hard to do well and this was one of them, thanks for watching!
"He's hunched over, I couldn't do that". Well, there are some other things Kevin does that 99,9% of us mere mortals cannot do, so you're fine, relatively speaking. Hope your back got better tho 💛 Nice reaction, I will watch the one with your wife in it right after this 😃
Ha ha ha! Kevin can afford to buy clean boots, I'm sure! Kevin is not only talented, he is extremely intelligent also. He is a Yale graduate, and even though he loved and had excelled with the cello, had originally planned on going to medical school - until Pentatonix came knocking. I hope you got some relief for your back! I have a very messed up back and need a hip replacement. I know all about that pain. Great reaction!!
Kevin is just so amazing. I know you’ll enjoy his other pieces as well. You should also check out The Piano Guys if you like cello. I know piano is in the name of the group but it usually is a cello and a piano. They are also amazing.

Lol I am getting that feeling Jay C, and I am perfectly O.K. with it, thanks for watching!
Kevin is ‘other worldly’
U need to breath, awesome reaction. I absolutely love Kevin, his cover of Sam Smith's Stay With Me, Adele medley, The KOver's compilation.
I saw Pentatonix in concert and they have a segment where it's just Kevin and his cello. The man is just as amazing live.
I am so jealous Fayola, that sounds amazing, thanks for sharing and for watching!

Kevin has perfect pitch.
Another great one and I’ll second the comments for “Down” and “True Colors”
Thanks Phil I really appreciate that!
Can you believe this man almost didn't pursue music as a career? We are all better off for his gifts and willingness to share them with the world.
What a sad world that would have been Kristina, thanks for watching!
Scary thought! He would probably make a great physician or whatnot, but he was put on this planet to do exactly this!
You need to listen to his cover of 'Down. by Marion Hillary and Harry Styles " Sign of the Times".
I will have to check those out, thanks Fitzroy!
I could tell you really didn’t want to pause this at all. KO is a very talented man! He’s like a complete orchestra on his own! Great reaction.
Just wow. Nothing more to say.
I agree Tracey but that would have made the video a little too short haha, thanks for watching!
Took about a full minute in the beginning for you to pick your jaw up. 🤣🤣 Another vote for Down cover!!
I saw that when I was editing lol, I couldn’t help it, thanks for watching KB Beers!
I absolutely adore this KO original. 💙💙💙💙
Yes, it's ethereal and haunting, but there's also something sensual to it. I can picture a couple ballroom dancing to this. Maybe a tango.
It's a gorgeous composition. Kevin is crazy amazing.
Yes he is April, that’s what’s so neat about music, everyone can hear something different from the same piece of music! Thanks for watching!
🤣🤣😂😂.
You needed to pick-up your jaw and eyes. I think they popped out of your head in amazement. 🥰.
Admittedly, I had to do the same lol.
Thank you again for another great reaction.

Haha, I couldn’t help it Kim, it is on my bucket list for sure to see them live! Thanks for your kind words and for watching!

Aww.... Thank you for saying so! ☺️

Love watching Kevin. He warms my heart ❤
Haha, thank you so much MommaWinks, you are so sweet, glad we could put a smile on your face, thanks for watching!
Great reaction. Great KO videos I recommend - Down, Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood, Sam Smith looping Kover, Bach Suite 1, Julie-O, Human Nature, and True Colors (all singing)
You should do more of his stuff, like his home studio one-man-band version of Down. He will blow your mind again and again!

I was going to suggest the 2 Cellos too! I love Thunderstruck! So much fun!
@@debbierhodes4479 I agree 100%

I agree with you, always look forward to your comments Jiska, thanks you so much!
Ethereal is the perfect word! Thanks, RSR!
Always my please Lisa, thanks for everything!
Heh, good reaction (as always!)... now for the next word in the series: “visceral”, which describes Avi Kaplan performing “Change On The Rise” ;-)
That one keeps coming up, I will have to look into that, thanks Mike!
@@rocksolidreactions3901 I second Mike here on "Change on the Rise" ;)
I had to refresh my memory. This is an original work by KO.

Amazing, the man has no boundaries to his talent, thanks for watching and for the info Chris!

Haha I knew someone said it, thanks for letting me know it was you Jeannie, I appreciate your kind words and suggesting this one to me !
Seeing this reaction today and I believe this was near Salton Sea in the Mojave desert of California or maybe Joshua Tree national park also here in So Cal
You have got to go watch his latest release... True colors and also Down!!! Awesome! 😎 👏🏻♥️
Thanks for the suggestions and for watching vmcgriff!

I agree about the movie Arcusfp1, I have no doubt someone will pick it up down the road, thanks for watching!
If you only knew how difficult that double bowing technique is. Much love and keep on keepin on J.

Haha, thanks so much for watching Ola, I agree he is in a talent class of his own!
Yes please do down he is singing it is awesome 😂
I will check that out Beverly, thanks!
Ha ha ha! Kevin can afford to buy clean boots, I'm sure! Kevin is not only talented, he is extremely intelligent also. Yeah back pain is no joke, the man is simply unbelievably talented! It is crazy, thanks for watching Rita!
Kevin is just so amazing. I know you’ll enjoy his other pieces as well. You should also check out The Piano Guys if you like cello. I know piano is in the name of the group but it usually is a cello and a piano. They are also amazing.
I love the piano guys Mary Lou, they played a huge role in the music at Mrs. RSR and my wedding, thanks for watching!
This cover of All of Me by John Legend is amazing!! Check it out too. So soothing and calm...warning, it is instrumental, but amazing.
That sounds amazing Brianne, thanks for the suggestion, I will have to give those a listen!
It needs to be in a Sci fi movie.
I agree F McM, thanks for watching!
Awesome reaction!
Thanks you so much Marie!
I know I am late watching and responding to this so I hope you see it. You would love ptx doing Radioactive with Lindsay Sterling. It is amazing.
you should try "Sign of the Times" (Harry Styles KOver) And Down (Marian Hill KOver)
Those are seeming to come up a lot Jim, I will check them out for sure, thanks for watching!
React to kevin's 'Down' you are in for a treat!
KO and Baby Shark have very different audiences. The Baby Shark fans aren’t very discerning about music. 😉
Lol considering my 3 year old is the prime audience, I would have to agree Lynn, thanks for watching!
Isn't it time to do some solo Avi now.....please....you won't regret it
I think it may be Jill, thanks for watching!
You don't have to say anything..
Lol sounds more like a request Fredricka 😉
Sometimes words are unnecessary, visual reactions can say so much.
