In some LDS churches, we also have a crying room next to the chapel. The crying room is sound-proofed, but the talks and hymns are piped-in so the parents can enjoy the service even with a crying baby 🍼🐥
Enjoy content of your channel, and specially this video. We watch many cowboys show, and it's great to see churches there . I love idea of rocking chairs 😁
Thanks Reyna! I can see why, definitely goes with the cowboy culture. And with having it's own rodeo arena right there, who wouldn't want to get involved?
Thanks haha! I completely forgot to mention in the video, I spoke with the front desk and learned it was Assemblies of God. Because the pastor was sick, I got an impression they had to change a few plans for this service.
How did I miss this one! The intro is excellent my friend! We went to a cowboy church down the road from us for a couple years. Great people and experience. Love the rocking chairs out front. I bet some good stories have been told there. I love your channel, and your project!
Thanks for watching. Been curious to head out that way to see a snake-handling service. Didn't know of any specific ones until you mentioned this one. Got me pondering, appreciate your insight.
Thanks for making these videos. I enjoy the content and it is interesting to hear someone's honest impressions walking in the door unannounced at different churches.
I live in one of the bigger cities in Texas and the only cowboy church that I’ve seen in my hometown went under around five years ago and the building was bought and remodeled by the local Lebanese Catholic community (which I attended several times while I was still Catholic, it’s basically the Mass but with Arabic and Aramaic parts to it), I’ve seen another one that looked like a barn in rural New Mexico and I thought the church you went to would play country music (I’ve sometimes listened to that genre and many of the songs definitely have a religious tone to them).
That's interesting to hear about a Lebanese Catholic community taking over a former cowboy church. I was told this is the largest cowboy church, though was surprised not many cowboy hats on the worship team (only in the congregation and the regular pastors). Very contemporary. Since this visit, I've seen some other cowboy churches from online services that had more of a country music feel to its worship.
Cowboy Churches take a non-traditional approach. Do away with the stained glass, pews, and carpet. We do baptize in a water trough or even in a pond. We reach out to those in the cowboy culture, but all are very welcome. You don't have to wear a cowboy hat or boots to come in, come as you are.
Your video is very beautiful. I like it a lot. I have been trying to talk to you for a long time. I am waiting for your response. Please give me a chance to talk to you💗
Had an awesome time. Thank you so much for meeting with me for church for this event and hope we get to do it again in the future.
Thanks for coming! Y'all come back soon! :D
@@LoneStarCowboyChurch Appreciate it! By the way, weren't kidding about the bread. Scarfed that in a couple minutes haha.
Beautiful sharing thanks for sharing brother

Loved your cowboy outfit, lol! Thanks for taking us with you! 😀
I’ve never heard of a cowboy experience. Sounds like a fun experience with some yummy bread to go!!

What a nice experience! Its so interesting that they incorporate cowboy/rodeo culture to church.
Thank you for sharing, , Brother David. Something new for me about this cowboy church. So unique. God bless. Wiseman.
Never heard of a Cowboy Church but I know it would make alot of cowboys comfortable.
It sure does! But sooooo many of our members are just good ole' "regular' folk too! It's all about Jesus Christ here.
Absolutely the trough was for baptism.
Thanks for watching. After doing this video, I was beginning to think the same.
Accurate! But the water's clean lol!
So fun. I’m from a super small town in Texas and this is one of the favorite churches for a lot of locals

Love the shirt! This was a thrill. If you go back will you ask them about their theology? Curious.

@@52churchesin52weeks they are? I wonder if all cowboy churches are Assembly of God.
@adambockwich2938 many are non-denominational, some are Baptist. Those are the most common that I've heard of.

Nice to see how we worship the same God in different cultures. Thanks for sharing, cool video!
Holy cow... literally
Wow! I had no clue cowboy churches even existed!😂
You should take a visit to The Church of Jesus Christ with Signs Following in Jolo, WV. Would love to hear your impressions on one of their services.

You're gonna need a bigger hat, boss.
My catholic church has a cry room as well!

That’s the fanciest cowboy church over ever seen!! Most cowboy churches I’ve seen are very minimal!
I’m sure the men were carrying! I’m Texas born and raised.
