Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an anime series and spin-off of Cyberpunk 2077 produced by Studio Trigger under the supervision of CD Projekt RED. It premiered on Netflix on September 13, 2022. Edgerunners tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid - David - trying to survive in a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future, Night City. Having everything to lose, he chooses to stay alive by becoming an edgerunner-a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.

The treatment for the condition is just regular therapy but it’s cheaper in night city just to kill people instead of treat them.
