Sen feels so weird right now. We have three Champions (Tenz - Reykjavic 2021 MVP; Sacy and Pancada - Champions 2022) and two Quarter-Finalists (Zekken and Dephh - Champions 2022). They have the skill to definitely be High A-Tier maybe Low S-Tier but doesn't seem to have the practice to back that up.
They are one of the few teams that don’t have a core which is like starting at 0, their showing against fnatic was not bad, with time they will only get better and with Sacy and deph who have brought teams from nothing to respectable teams in the scene there is no doubt they won’t find success with time
their chemistry looked terrible. Hope they can clean it up
@@TheNameIsXpo they enjoy being around each other outside of the game so I’m sure they’ll be fine with time easily see them being the second best NA team and 3rd in the Americas
@@reuwlane9867 I agree, I’m just hoping they don’t try to do too much. Keep pancada on controller and especially astra on split. I’m obviously not a pro but I feel like right now they should focus on comfort picks and just trying to get the team to mesh together, then focus on the crazy comps later on down the road. Maybe I’m just overthinking it, but I truly think it would be better for them in the long run

I love how Team Secret is stuck in a perpetual loop of getting underestimated then overestimated. Anyone closely following APAC knows they're very shaky when matched against other APAC teams.

Gotta agree with this tier list. Naughty corner is a well deserved place for those teams! A little disappointing they performed as they did. Although I’m always gonna be rooting for my APAC boys, I agree with their placements 😂 great list, and hopefully DRX wins Masters 👍
being paper boy myself, i agree to put paper rex in B tier after lock in. people might say that they're just trolling but after those performance, it's hard to defend them

Probably the best tier list that has been pulled out yet. I agree with each and every pick but I think Vitality is not that great as KOI , so maybe if they switch positions, we could have got an ideal tier list. What do u think TMV ? Is Vitality better than KOI ?

People got caught up in the “omg KOI saving all the time they’re so bad”. Like, saving is just a simple decision that’s made in a low stakes part of the round that they can choose to make less. Very easy fix.
Saving too much is a much preferable flaw to most other teams’ flaws like overheating and such

Very solid tier list
I agree with everything except I'd switch out Vitality and KOI.
i feel like paper rex are gonna get stomped again in the future if they don't make a huge adjustment with how they play or the roster. i love them but i think they've been stucked at masters 2 and still don't get humbled afterwards. at this point, they'll be sentinels 2.0

Hi TMV, I noticed that FPX and EDG weren't in the tier list which makes sense. But since they played in the tournament, what was your opinion of them?
List makes sense. I mean sure you could argue if NRG should be bottom of S or top of A but the arguable things are just minor details.
keznit made a racist joke about dgzinnn from furia a while ago and riot responded by giving him the incredibly hard punishment of: a ban from one VCT match. and and that was it.

Yk it hurts when your favourite teams are Liquid and PRX. Both expected low S-mid A teams but instead they just trolled
So zeta changing igls is a "try to know every playstyles so you can understand each other more" thing. I think the head coach of zeta talked about it in a live stream or what not and getting to know other peoples styles when you're trying to make a better team is a crucial factor so I'll put them in tier B. Otherwise, all the others are probably gonna be right
Zeta have been completely trolling since Masters Reykjavik ngl,they did look decent at Champs but against Leviatan they didn't look good at all

I honestly thought it was bad at first but when you put in the factor that sugarzero was igling and that their against lev which became considerably one of the favorites for lock in, it doesn’t really look that bad at all. Yeah drx and talon are good but there is more than a chance that zeta can be a threat
Maybe they trying to go for the approach whereby, certain player igl on their best maps???
Problem is they had 1 year. 1 year with the same roster.
Even if they got bad draws like in champs against loud or here in lock in against Lev. They had 10 to 11 months of scrimming, setting up their strats/ going to tournaments/ reviewing vods having meetings and more with the same roster and i believe same coach, to find who is igl'ing who's playing smokes. Whatever. You get the point. I bet they went through a process of a lot of things, even trying out every member igl'ing on pracs. Yet still their performance was disappointing not even 1 map won. So yeah C tier very well deserved. I don't even see them making it to masters which it's gonna be sad considering they are the "host" team.

Yeah the point of franchising was to have orgs that are financially stable in tier 1 but I don't think c9 checks that box

I just that generally, any team that hasnt got an established core carried over from pre-partnership is hard to nail down on a tier list. New maps, team dynamics, anti-stratting and all that good stuff is throwing everything in the air. Itll be more obvious after the first leg of the league.
GE played pretty well considering they played with a sub and without one of their best players (wronski)

Liquid and KC will come back stronger for sure, maybe like switch out XMS, or if he has some TenZ level awakening (when TenZ switched from C9 to SEN), he could work, but yeah, these teams have good potential, would love to see them do good in the EMEA league

Edit: As a Zeta fan, yeah. They do deserve a Top C. Kinda iffy about TS placement, though. I'd expect them to be in the naughty club. But I'd place them somewhere in B anyway so I guess that's good.

Only 2 changes I'd make is Talon a lil higher A tier and (although I understand your reasoning) Paper Rex either Top B or Bottom A. You could tell PRX didn't take themselves too seriously and probably just wanted to see there future matchups without giving away too many crazy strats. Talon was a solid darkhorse that showed they weren't messing around.
I'm a PRX fan and even I think this is unhealthy levels of copium
what about EDG and FPX? For EDG imo is low A top B, they could have won 100T, it's pretty close; and for FPX, I think is prob like low B or top C.
They are not franchised teams they were chinese teams which received invitation. Might not see them in Tokyo
@@pulkitgupta5550 2 Chinese teams already confirmed for Tokyo, and the two at Lock In have been the best in the Chinese scene by far, so honestly, I expect them both to make a repeat appearance.
EDG is actually mid A for me, you can see how much they improved since their last international appearance. They just need to discipline kk to stop throwing a bit more then I really think they have the potential to be a top contender. FPX goes in like mid C tho..
@abrn FPX definetely isn't the best in the Chinese scene by far, they have always been VERY lackluster with terrible stats. EDG lost to them in the finals of FGC, but if you compare that match to them against 100T, its clear they were saving strats. KONE is the second best chinese team, and has been consistently good - they announced they were going inactive for some time though, so they didn't compete at FGC.
@@pulkitgupta5550 China is pretty much the 4th region now, just think of it that way. Given league's success in China, RIOT has a lot of influence and believes val has huge potential in China - you'll see them a lot from now on.

@@zammy7155 They lost 2-3 to LOUD when LOUD is expected to have a 3-0 domination. DRX literally on par with NRG, LOUD kinda struggled to win against DRX and NRG
They did strong , 3-4th in the world and lose to 2nf best team not anything bad or to be embarrassed

I wish you would’ve “predicted” more with this list like you said you were going to do rather than base off how these teams looked at lock in. Felt like you were going back and forth…lock in should be used as a baseline, but don’t you think teams like Liquid, Sen, Karmine, etc should indeed improve and close that gap with teams like Talon and Furia? Just my thoughts
