- Columbia University announced Monday it is canceling its main commencement ceremony amid the campus protests over the war in Gaza. They're the latest school to change plans as the demonstrations continue. CBS News correspondent Elise Preston is at the University of Southern California, which also canceled its commencement ceremony.

@@cryhavoc6106 Half seems like a lot to me. I've got 70 years under my belt other than Drs. and Nurses , cpa I don't know many people who use there degree at their job. As a commercial fishing boat Captain I hired many college grads. The worst deckhands ever. My carpentry business too same deal. Common sense isn't taught. I have nothing against those people.
So the kids that didn't get a high school graduation due to covid now don't get one due to protests. That really sucks!

Third parties in general have 0% chance at winning presidential elections. If they only have access to a few states then their chances are even already more DOA since they can’t even reach the 270 electoral votes threshold (that’s what gets one elected, not the popular vote overall).
They also always come in third place in the states. I can’t recall the last time they even came in second etc.
