I really wonder where this machine is located today, it has to still exist somewhere, waiting to be reseen...
This is literally my best childhood memories coming true. You made my dreams come to life!
This is what the world should be doing instead of procrastinating
At 0:20 on the second striped pad from the left, the ball over shoots the target but it still lights up and makes the sound.
It helps maintain the illusion.
the balls and lights have no correlation to each other, they are just timed so that it looks like the ball made it light up when it does function right. theres no way foam balls could be that rhythmically accurate at this scale of a machine in 2012.
it's actually 0:17
at 0:53 if you look closely a lot of balls are not landing on the hi-hat, but therse still sound !
I think it's not about it actually making the music, and more about simulating it.
Those little balls wouldn't be able it hit those sensors with enough force to trigger something, if they weren't also triggered by the movement whenever they spin the instruments around.
Think of animatronics. They aren't making the sounds, but they're simulating it.
The fact that this actually works is amazing
Many notes were missed, but still nice job on the project.
Curious what this would look like today?
I'm curious too!
pipe dream
I
So, what do you think? Why is the Vibraphone a Glockenspiel?
the sound is obviously fake but the fact its in real life is like WHAT i was imagining what it would look like in real life but everything would go wrong
1:00
This is equal to "pipe dream"
Where is it now?
Thats Animusic’s Pipe dream
EVERYONE KNOWS
@@brlinrainfSo do I!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
i wonder why the balls made a clicking sound, maybe because of the solenoid

No wonder ya can’t find any chick peas in Publix…!,
Pocari 4:00
Oscar Baby
Would the people shut up OMG I could barely hear anything
dejen de estar haciendo webadas y regálenme ese procesador.
At 0:13 one of the balls missed the note.
A lot missed the pads, but it was mainly a simulation for fun.
That was not the only one
at 28 seconds one of the marbles misses and the cowbell still sounds.
The balls aren't triggering the notes, the whole thing is just sync'd to the music
Because it is a illusion😂😂😂
