There were mad artists from back then that didn't curse or rarely did, this was all before gangster rap took over. Before that we still had artists like Kool G Rap that got their point across with selected words...
As it pertains to cursing, back in the day radio was VERY important for artists to sell records so they had to make clean songs where now adays the radio doesn't mean as much because you have social media and the internet so now to a high degree rappers can say whatever they want now...Also, if you listened to some of the OG rapper's albums you'd hear "some" cursing, you have been checking out their singles which were usually the clean songs and the album cuts had cursing. But even then, cursing didnt become a consistent serious thing in the music until NWA (in my opinion). Ice T did it too but NWA popularized it back then (to me).
Some emcees back then didnt curse because they was always sharpening their vocab proving u dont need to curse to make DOPE music.. check out Heavy D "DONT CURSE" 💪🏾😜🎯💯

Most hip hop artist in the mid to early 90s, was still in high school
There were mad artists from back then that didn't curse or rarely did, this was all before gangster rap took over. Before that we still had artists like Kool G Rap that got their point across with selected words...

3rd Bass the gas face
Great song, but the video breaks up the song too much. He’d need to listen to it but not from the video.
Organized Konfusion-Fudge Pudge
"Releasing Hypnotical Gases" and "Prisoners of War" by them as well.
