- Wesley Jonathan is an American actor best known for his starring role as Jamal Grant in the NBC sitcom City Guys (1997-2001), Gary Thorpe in the sitcom What I Like About You (2002-2006), Sweetness in the film Roll Bounce (2005), Noah Cruise in the film Crossover (2006), and Fletcher "Stamps" Ballentine on TV Land's The Soul Man (2012-2016).
Jonathan has starred, co-starred, or made guest appearances in several movies and television shows including: Sister, Sister, Moesha, Boy Meets World, Smart Guy, Thea, Baywatch, A Different World, Boston Public, Crossover, National Lampoon's Bag Boy, Divine Intervention (2007 film), Roll Bounce, and the 1995 film Panther as Bobby Hutton.

Cannot imagine anyone else in Sweetness’ role. Wesley is the main reason that movie is a staple in my opinion.
Wesley Jonathan is a talented actor and dancer. I remember watching an episode of CityGuys where Kel Mitchel guest starred and they had a dance battle. They both displayed good BBoy skills. We are around the same age and seeing a lot of these child actors now in good health and taking care of their families is always good to see outside of the tragic hollywood stories and scandals we see a lot.
Yeah, I remember that episode as well. Both Kel and Wesley went off. That was one of the best dance battles on a sitcom that I could ever remember. I always felt like if they ever made a movie about the beginning of B-Boys, Wesley would be a perfect fit

He is right. Roll Bounce happened right after Katrina, so it missed a lot of ticket sales. I saw it in Jacksonville, Florida when I was displaced. Nick and Wesley could have done a sitcom as brothers.

Very sensitive soul from childhood smh. I been pick on my whole life especially at work. When you are a child of God you r a target smh. But this 2 shall pass. I am dealing with haters and nepotism so please pray. N that so true about news n i stay praying smh. I lost 2 moms to cancer so it is not easy. N i mom n i r certainly not the bff n my mom made my sis the golden child n bro..but my mom love n she love my artwork n fact i was a Disney fan..but i wish it was more n she was hard on me.
