Thanks for the great videos Matt, I just got back into RC's in August after being out of the hobby for 30+ years and you are definitely my favorite channel!! Look forward to what you have in store for '24!
Congratulations to all your great cars. But with 2 Porsches and 2 German words on it you definitely should speak German when you make the trip with the landy. How hard can it be 🤣🤣. And at last i always enjoy your show here in Austria ❤👌👍💪
Thank you for your knowledge and inspiration over this year Matt, and thank you for helping me with questions I've had as I prepare a channel of my own in 2024.
Matt , you are a true craftsman. Some very cool vehicles , unique stuff , that’s the best part . One of the best channels out there , hands down. Keep up the great content man !!
New Title: TOP TEN BUILDS WHICH I DID AND I THINK ARE GOOD Listen, you're gonna need to oil that stool sometime soon. A drop or two of 3-in-1 in the right spot and you won't hear from it again for years. Thanks in advance. Thanks for a great year of very entertaining videos, always good a for a laugh - much appreciated - and Happy New Year, sir.
But if the chair stops squeaking there will be nothing for people to complain about 😂! Thanks for all of the great comments and support and Happy New Year to you sir!
Matt, You obviously had a great 2023. And I want to chime in with the other viewers to your channel and thank you for keeping it interesting for us as well. Must say your interactions with that "other guy" on a weekly basis is fun to watch too. Looking forward to what 2024 will bring to us all. Happy New Year !
Wow! I'm feeling the love from everybody today... I'm really chuffed that so many people love the channel and content. Thanks for your support and Happy New Year!
Greetings Matt, very new to the channel and it's fantastic! All awesome completed scale builds for 2023 and look forward to 2024's builds and videos! Thumbs up and best regards! Have a Happy and healthy New Year 🎉!
That’s awesome! Thanks for this year. What’s on the bench is a great show and I can’t wait for next year’s edition 🙌 and that Land Rover video sounds great 💪 you can do it! ✌️❤️
Matt, thanks for all the great content, my fav of your 2023 builds was by far the Bug built on the Spare Time hobbies chassis. You and Josh have inspired me to get a 3-D printer and start learning CAD.
It was a pretty awesome year, thats for sure. All amazing builds. Hope you have a wonderful new years. See you in 2024. Getting close to that 100,000. 😎👍👍
Wonderful year of what's on the bench weekly Matt! Love the content and the delivery. You are an inspiration to us all in your creativity and execution of new and interesting techniques for scale RC vehicle building. I would be willing to sit through an entire video of your expedition across TO and think it would be an interesting presentation, much like your VP Fordyce adventure. Happy New Year to you and yours and we look forward to another excellent year of this channel!!!
Thanks so much for the kind words and for your support. I have to work on some details about the TO trek, but it seems like people are into the idea. Happy New Year!
for the Trans-Toronto truck maybe setup a meet so more than just you can do it? and print stickers for those who make it perhaps? i'm not sure if that's asking too much or not haha would be fun though!
Awesome I agree do the video and I know you said no lexan for 2024 do does that mean that drifting will be put on hold because we all know your going to build another 🤣🤣👊🏼🤙🏼🇬🇧💨💨💨
A trek across Toronto could be a great take on a ‘Top Gear’ challenge. Can you beat a piece of mail or the mailman across town? Lol 🤙🏼 🎉Cheers and Happy New Year.
Happy New Year, Matt! My friends and I are gearing up for Scale Challenge West in January. All of our rigs are 8X8 and 6X6. You should definitely build a WPL Kei truck with UTB18 drivetrain this year! I built one with rear steer and it's pretty fun on comp lines believe it or not lol
Thank you very much. Awesome builds, wondering if you are planning to do add something to the Driftmoossile's roofrack, maybe a 3D printed kayak? Happy New Year✌ and many thanks for all the great videos in 2023, from 'bash' action with the Raptor to painting hardbody technique and lastly, your 'Toronto' Land Rover is a work of art 💯 Cheers and greatly looking forward to many more, cool Scale Builder's Guild productions in 2024!
I am not in Toronto but an official Trans-Toronto event would be awesome to see and attend. Then make a route so that people who cant attend can try and achieve it at a later date and earn a sticker or something.
Happy new year and love all the builds - Volvo drift personal favourite. I can barely paint a basic once colour lexan shell very well - that thing is amazing!
Considering I got a Redcat Hauler, next year will be bigger. I forgot the CUCV still isn't finished, but the carbon fiber Porsche was a pretty sweet build.
Lots of great builds this year, nice work! I do like your idea of the cross Toronto journey and video. What about the Fordyce, will we see more of that?
12:40 The upper section of the door has a giant gap for somereason?...How does that even happen? ...Mmm. Squeaky chair. Sounds like my 1:1 hilux flexing over rocks!
@@scalebuildersguild Oooh. Anticlimactic....I was hoping for some sort of secret crash in which the roof was secretly replaced with another one!...Alright not really but it's good to know why it has the gap.
Happy New Year, Matt!! Great video, dippy is the best. The trans Toronto expedition, would that be trails or just different locations? Either way, would definitely be a cool video.
Josh drifting, matt doing 1/24 scale sums up 2023 lol.
😂
Mad ❤ from Bama. Can't wait to see you guys at Cherokee Rock Village in 2024

Yes to the cross Toronto Expedition!
Definitely take the Land Rover on a journey that would be too cool to see and I’m sure you do a fabulous job and videoing it!!
Challenge accepted! Now I just have to figure out the details, find the time to do it and pray it doesn't snow too much!
I like that idea for the trek across TO
A cross Toronto RC overland adventure in one haul? Epic!

Would love to see you take a peek at some tanks at some point
Not really into tanks at the moment, but never say never!
Happy New Year! I’m looking to weather/dim headlight lenses or led bulbs. Faded halogen look. Where can I start? Thanks Matt
I dip my white led’s in Tamiya XF Clear Yellow!
If “nationals” is in Colorado again this year I’ll be able to make it! But my luck it will be one of the coasts
That would be cool, but it would be great if it wasn't so rainy this year! Hopefully we'll find out soon.
What about the Red Cat COE, or is it not finished yet
It’s done, but all I really did was paint!
Good stuff as always, How long would it take to cross Toronto with that truck? Might be cool to watch, highlights might be better though.
That's what I'm going to try and figure out. It's a pretty big city!
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
how about a link to those brx pieces, Quenton something?
He’s not currently selling them yet. Will update when he does!
"I don't know that this little round thing is here on the bumper, but it works pretty well as a tow hook"
That's probably cause it's a tow hook 😂
It’s not though. It’s an electrical connector that I forgot the name of that I repurposed to be a tow hook.
I don't know what this is called, but it works really good as a tow hook.
Well sir, that's because it's a tow hook.
It isn’t though. It’s an electrical connector I repurposed as one!
lol “episode 73” he says puts it up a 7T1 in the title… too much syrup I say!
😂
I think you should do the trek
12:40 The upper section of the door has a giant gap for somereason?...How does that even happen?
...Mmm. Squeaky chair. Sounds like my 1:1 hilux flexing over rocks!
I did some surgery to make the top easy to remove and be a topless with doors, without having the pain of swapping.
@@scalebuildersguild Oooh. Anticlimactic....I was hoping for some sort of secret crash in which the roof was secretly replaced with another one!...Alright not really but it's good to know why it has the gap.
How is the porche class 1 legal without the fenders covering half the wheel width?
That rule doesn’t exist anymore!
Happy New Year, Matt!! Great video, dippy is the best. The trans Toronto expedition, would that be trails or just different locations? Either way, would definitely be a cool video.
Happy New Year to you too! I haven't decided exactly what I'll be doing for the trek, have to think on it!
Nope, its not a coupe.. Its a 2 door sedan.
It has a British plate, so it's a 2 door saloon.😂
That Porsche is amazing. But, you need bigger wheels. Black or white. No pink
It's Class 1, that's as big as allowed by the rules.
@@scalebuildersguild well heck. I didn’t realize there was a class or tire size for drift. You learn something new everyday.
I made this class 1 porshe, well. Assembled it anyways
😂

LEXAN UNLIMITED!!!!! 😂
No googly eyes made the cut 😢
Across Toronto sounds blah, another big trail run would be great though
You are in the minority, everyone else is super amped about the idea! But, I'll probably do another trail run in the summer. Thanks for watching!
