Thank you so much for the video, fascinating mixing and colors. So much subtlety in the broken (the real meaning of the word, before impressionists reinvented it) hues!
Thank you Ian this is brilliant, I finally understand. I just couldn’t understand by listening but seeing this demonstration it has all clicked into place 🙏🏻 I continue to draw and paint and miss your classes at Scola. I had been attending odd days with London Drawing before lockdown. Have attended classes with John Carberry & Sisetta Zappone printmaking, Kim Scouller Portraits and with John Close theatrical sets in St Pancras Church & Crypt -recreating Francis Bacon, William Blake, Egon Schiele -fast sketching actors and models. This is perfect timing i shall colour mix with consideration now. You have taught me well. Thank you. Stay safe. 😊Sam
Really helpful advice to get to a beautiful colour instead of my usual mud. Particularly love the viridian/ultra marine blue colour mix.
Ian, you are the master of explaining colour theory. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and talents. Cheers, from US
Thanks for such high praise

Great video!
Thanks for making this video :) at first I thought you were saying “killer” not “colour”
You are not the first person tp say that. I am partial hearing so maybe I say it slightly wrong.
